Welcome to a brand new shiny thread to help us all onwards and downwards through March.

Here's a link to the last February thread

Did everyone have a good day? I've already opened the fizz so fear tonight will not go well.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 03/03/2017 20:14

One of my new dresses arrived today. Phase 8, size 12, and it does up but it's tight across the bust. I am slightly worried because it is a beautiful dress, but my boobs don't tend to shrink much when I diet. Think frantic press-ups and...um. What makes boobs smaller?

BitOutOfPractice · 03/03/2017 21:07

I am at a conference / industry do thing tonight but just wanted to check in to record a small nsv. Three people have used the word "svelte" about me tonight. I am like this Grin

Quim I live in rural Cornwall so if I want to run from my front door I have to run on the road. There's a lot of runners that do it. But I tend to drive the 3 miles now to nearest twin and there. Get a sea view then as well 😁

Millie04 · 03/03/2017 22:34

*town and run there 🏃🏼

Millie04 · 03/03/2017 22:35

Boop svelte is a great word to have contributed to you! ❤

Millie I would dearly love to live in rural Cornwall. Is it exactly like Doc Martin? Grin

User I started in C25K November and have gone from not being able to run 100m to doing sub 30 5k. I'm no good on extending my distance tho so need to work on that now. But please don't be self conscious. Honestly no one cares, and those that might think something they can eff off. Just do you're own thing, head held high and be PROUD. Arsey your running is fantastic.

BOOP svelte eh? You absolute fox.

Hairspray hurrah hurrah hurrah for the size 12s. So funny that you couldn't believe the 14s were just too big. Cheddar being small of knockers, I have no idea how to loose boob inches - unless an extra tight bra is the answer. Or chest binding.

And Squiffy that is so brilliant, well done you.

BitOutOfPractice · 04/03/2017 05:19

Archy that is an absolutely brilliant time. So so well done. Don't retire now though, you're in your prime! Star

And user i agree with Paula Radcliffe Archie. Honestly just go out and do it. I know a lot of really good runners and they all treat me, a total plodder, as just another runner. As soon as you've put one foot in front of the other it all counts. Honestly, go for it

Amazing time Arch I'm so jealous!

Plan for today
10st 6 on the scales
Yogurt and fruit for breakfast
Tuna salad for lunch
Dinner and drinks with friends

Should be doing parkrun but have a children's party to go to instead, such joy.

ArseyTussle · 04/03/2017 07:03

Well done Arch, amazingly quick. I'm hoping that I'll naturally get faster as I get lighter, I'm still carrying a lot of weight.

BOOP, how fantastic to be svelte! Was your conference by chance in the 1950s?

pincha · 04/03/2017 08:31

Waterproof mp3s - I have something that looks like this, from quite a few years ago now so prob not exactly the same thing. Functionality is a bit shit (no screen to scroll through music so I tend just to put the album/podcast on there that I want to listen to before I go), but hasn't died on me yet, and I have gone through periods of being a fairly regular swimmer.

As suspected, the loss from illness has gone back on, but I have my shiny new scales so will do the official weigh-in tomorrow - after big anniversary meal tonight, eesh.

I am inspired by the C25K PBs - if my head isn't too sore tomorrow I will be starting again. Maybe on week 4 or thereabouts.

Stellar67 · 04/03/2017 08:57

Arch well done!! Star

I went swimming again yesterday.

Had two glasses of wine last night and my head is pounding today. And I'd saved the hoovering for today as well!

Today was going to be cheat day but I don't know if I feel the need. What is wrong with me!

Naughtysausage · 04/03/2017 09:11

User I used to go to a running club in a city I used to live in and the slow beginners group were always delighted by new non-runners. They (we) just really wanted the new person to love it too. And I agree that they only people who judge are those who can't do it themselves.

I'm lying in bed this morning with some kind of tummy bug. Feel awful and I can hear the baby downstairs with DH. Really want to go play but don't want to give it to him! Envy
Hope everyone else is having a much more exciting Saturday.

Naughtysausage · 04/03/2017 09:12

And Arch fantastic! Significantly under 30 mins too! Next week 28 mins...

Peopleplease · 04/03/2017 09:37

Saturday morning is my weigh in and I'm down 4 pounds.

I'm actually not totally thrilled as I want to do slow and steady but I've been sick all week and my appetite hasn't been great. I reckon I'm also a bit dehydrated as I haven't been drinking as much water. Also (TMI alert) I had a big clear out yesterday morning. I was stuck in the bathroom for most of a pj masks episode!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 04/03/2017 10:03

I'm struggling to keep up with this thread but well done to everyone who has managed to lose this week!

I weighed in this morning after going off the rails last weekend and then being fairly golden this week, and I have stayed the same. I am pleased it's not a gain but I'm going to try to stay on track this weekend so I don't mess up next week for myself. Also now the weather is getting better and it's not so bitterly cold, I am going to start running regularly again. Hopefully that will give my metabolism a bit of a kick up the arse!

I saw that article and thought of this thread as well Grin Envy

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/03/2017 12:16

Wow, People! I would be pleased! Is it your first week? It'll probably settle down into slower loss in week 3.

BOOP, didn't see you there - my, you're looking positively (all together now!) SVELTE!

Arch, well done you!

Dress 2 has arrived and is also too tight in the chest. Damn. I am wandering around chanting "I must, I must decrease my bust!" in the manner of Margaret from Are You There, God, It's Me, Margaret, except she wanted hers increased.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/03/2017 12:19

Please excuse unwashed, unbrushed hair.

Cheddar if you don't mind me saying, that's not a boob issue. That's a tiny waist problem! Your shoulders and boobs are perfectly in proportion with each other (and lovely) and then your waist is a good size or two smaller!
You have a fantastic shape but the proportions of those dresses are not extreme enough for you!

Stellar67 · 04/03/2017 13:30

Back to old lady with a fag swimming for meConfused That's grim reading! My dcs want to go today and now I'll be watching for yellow streaks Hmm

Cheddar love you in both of those although I see the top of the flowery one is squishing your boobs.
You've got lovely legs, and as sausage says, a terrific waist.
Do you have any other dresses? Let us cast an eye Grin
