Good morning! I still haven't braved the scales at home. I'll step on the gym ones later though. If I feel up to it. Had a fabulous time in Berlin but so so depressing to be back losing the same weight yet again. I have a holiday a month planned till my birthday in June and I just feel I'm flogging s dead horse for now. But I know that if I just let go until then I'll be a lot heavier and even more fed up. So back on the wagon again I climb.

Stellar i thought you might be being a bit ambitious not weighing for a month Grin

We all seem to be stuttering a bit don't we? Apart from will keeping our end up. Star

Perhaps a new month is just what we need. Draw a line, regird our loins and crack on

Just popping in to say hello!

I am starting March 9lbs down in total, having lost 3lbs in February. Hoping to lose another 3ish lbs this month

Having a fast day today. My one on Monday went a bit wrong and I ended up having 800 calories, so not terrible, but not really a fast day. Then yesterday I was trying to stick to my maintenance calories but I cracked slightly and went off the rails, so I think I will do a fast day today and one on Friday to make up for it. Then hopefully when I weigh in on Saturday morning I will see a loss or at least not a gain

ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 07:53

Morning all, reporting for duty with loins girded.
1.8kg lost in Feb
4.4 kg lost in Jan
Bring it on!!!

lastqueenofscotland · 01/03/2017 08:06

Boop I think mentally a new month is a good thing.

Everyone at work is giving up junk for lent so my weakness the biscuit tin, is not an issue. And I'm giving up alcohol.

I'd like to loose 4lbs this month.

HairsprayBabe · 01/03/2017 08:46

Morning all,
So Feb was not my best month, only 3lbs down in total, so I am checking in at the start of March on 11.7.

Another busy social month, but nothing as hectic as last month, two weddings, a craft show and seeing some old uni friends. No birthdays and no holidays so hopefully I will lose my 7lbs (hopefully more)!

I did have pancakes last night but they were almond and gram flour pancakes and I had them with low sugar peanut butter sauce.... plus I had fasted for the whole rest of the day. Yoghurt and nuts for lunch, no idea what's for dinner I need to clean the house, put all the washing and holiday detritus away so something quick!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 08:50

Bugger I've just remembered I'm away at a massive booze fest conference this weekend. And I really wanted to be golden Confused

Fantastic will Star And Arsey, that's loads! Cheddar, keep going, it will move eventually and the only other option is to give up and risk going the other way. Keep the faith!

Howlong my main tip is loads of water. I have been drinking lots more since NY and I think it's helped me stay full, stay focused, I hadn't lost anything for months before that.

ponygirlcurtis · 01/03/2017 08:55

Hairspray, 3lbs in a month is still great, especially when you had a holiday in there too. If I lose 3 this month I will be over the moon. Smile

pincha · 01/03/2017 08:57

Hello, I've been seeing these threads pop up and I'd quite like this month to be the month I actually lose that half stone that's been annoying me, so I'll be hanging around these parts a bit, if you'll have me.

I've been a bit I'll the last couple of days which has lead to a couple of pounds off, which would be a nice kick start, but it'll probably come back on again before I can get rid of it properly.

pincha · 01/03/2017 08:58

A bit ill, not a bit I'll, stupid autocorrect.

HairsprayBabe · 01/03/2017 09:14

Welcome Pincha
There are no rules, you don't have to tell us how much you weigh in total or weigh in on a specific day it is all up to you.

We are all following different diets/ways of eating/lifestyle changes so how ever you are planning on losing we are here to support you!

Howlongtillbedtime · 01/03/2017 09:21

Thank you pony good tip. I used to be really good at that but not so much now .

I need to make my own soup as well . I have been given lots of lovely ideas on the recipe boards and I am off shopping today for ingredients . Have always been rubbish at soup making for some reason , can cook most other things .

All tips for that appreciated as well Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 09:27

So, I've braved the scales. I put 3.3lbs on over the weekend though it's also TOTM so that doesn't help. Aim for March is to lose that plus 2 more Lindas to finally have a healthy BMI. Come ON!

Welcome pinchu. The first rule of 7lb club is there are no rules

Thank you Hairspray and BitOutOfPractice, I'm going to have to put a bit of thought into how I'm going to do it, but I'll start off with just trying to eat less crap! And maybe have another go at C25K. I always get stuck at about week 5/6.

ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 09:57

Hello and welcome pincha. This is a good thread, plenty of congratulations, commiserations and arse kickings available.

Chardonnay73 · 01/03/2017 10:38

Stayed the same 🙄 FFS!!! I know my body now though, I have a loss, then a stall, then a loss etc etc Just got to power on through it.... I'm so bored of dieting now though !
Welcome pincha this thread is great for making you feel you're not alone on this journey Smile

March is a busy month for me - DD's birthday party on Sunday, then her actual birthday on the 9th, followed by my DGD's 80th on the 11th, and then my 10th wedding anniversary on the 18th (although DH is away all weekend on a stag do, so it won't be v romantic!) and my sister's hen party 31 March/1 April.

So. 5:2 combined with sensible eating/No S throughout the week. Weekends off.

Lots of water (good thinking, pony!).

20 mins weights/abs every second night.
Shred Level 2 on Fridays, Sat and Sun while DS is napping.

ponygirlcurtis · 01/03/2017 12:05

I am the same Chard, I lose a bit then nothing for ages, despite doing the same things. It's a bugger isn't it. Keep on keeping on.

That is a really nice positive way to look at it keepon.

Lordy Cheddar, that is one busy month. Sounds like you have a good plan though.

HairsprayBabe · 01/03/2017 12:07

Oh!
And cheers pony I was sure I was going to get to "Healthy BMI" last month, so I really want to make it happen this month!

Only 5 lbs to go till I am at my first goal weight (healthy BMI) then another stone so I am what I have deemed "comfortably heathy" at 10 stone ish!

Somo · 01/03/2017 12:32

Welcome to March!

So, I have started at nearly my lowest weight this year (only 200g up from the lowest - I am going to take that!). Good luck to all. I want to shed another 7 lb before my hols the end of the month. Good luck! Thanks for all the support. Let's all have a blinding March!

Somo

ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 13:25

Whilst we're talking targets, I'm aiming for the Overweight bracket Blush Grin. That's another 10.9kg to go, I'm hoping to hit that at the start of July.

Ideally I could then aim for mid healthy range BMI by Xmas, but I'm scared of considering such a big target.

ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 13:27

Actually, thinking of things like 'lowest weight this year', and 'lowest weight since X date' is rather good, isn't it?

I'm pretty sure I'm at my lowest weight since DD was born, and she's 6.

FreeNiki · 01/03/2017 14:08

I have noticed on the boditrax machine that although weight has dropped my body fat is still way over 30%.

Maybe weight train more?

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 14:53

Niki my body fat % fluctuates wildly on Boditrax. As does my metabolic age Angry
