Yay Niki! Hey Niki, she's so fine, she's so fine she blows my mind, hey Niki!

Go Keep, it's lovely hearing you sound more positive about yourself! I keep thinking about exercise but not doing it and I really think it's key for me - no exercise seems to equal no weight loss even if I've been fasting/doing BSD/whatever. Grr!

Bike courier
Personal trainer (ha ha ha)
Postie
River inspector (this is actually a job, and it involves walking the length of rivers and noting repairs to culverts etc, then designing repairs, so you need an HNC in Engineering to do it, which I don't have)
Brickie
Dog walker
Park Ranger

That's all I can come up with. Either the pay is very low or else I'm not qualified to do them (or both!).

HairsprayBabe · 23/03/2017 13:57

Well done Nikki

I have had a few active jobs, but I hate f2f customer service and being outside in horrible weather, much prefer hiding behind my computer stuck at my desk! But I can provide a short history of my more active jobs.

Waitressing/bar work < shit pay, grumpy customers and you get fat from eating all the nice food/drinks anyway!

Farm inspector < hated being outside when the weather was bad

Ecologist/environmental surveyor < same outside problem

So now I do government environmental stuff from behind a desk, I love being a bureaucrat Grin

KOKO I am liking your new positive frame of mind

Well done Nikki, love a good loss that hits a new target to motivate everyone.
I had a physical job but it made me starving!

Squiffy01 · 23/03/2017 15:22

Was meant to be having another fast day but have ruined it. Will still be well under 1000 though if I keep my mouth closed until dinner time. DH has forbidden me to skip dinner Hmm dieting was much easier when single!

Well done niki!

And Kiki this fasting is really helping me reset as well. This is the best week I've had all year. My friend doesn't really approve of me doing 5:2 so shall have to only discuss on here Wink

QuimReaper · 23/03/2017 18:50

I am getting a lovely warm glow reading about everyone's successes! Especially the ones I'm being credited with Grin

Warm glow needed today. My lovely Dad died last night and warm glows are thin on the ground at the moment, so thank you all for perking me up Flowers

QuimReaper · 23/03/2017 18:51

(FYI I am taking credit for everyone who's feeling the benefits of fasting, because obviously I Started It... Wink)

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 23/03/2017 18:55

So sorry Quim. I have been lurking on the thread but not posting as life got in the way.
But I am very sorry indeed to hear that. I hope that you are all looking after each other and can share some funny memories and look through some photos of him Flowers

Stellar67 · 24/03/2017 05:55

Dear Quim. So very sorry to hear about your dad. Flowers You sound strong.

I will gloss over my week and simply say I need to sew a zip to my lips.

I crowd control teach p/t for behaviour support. It's lightly active, sometimes I'm running across the building to find pupils who try to attack people put themselves at risk.

It makes me stress eat....

Squiffy01 · 24/03/2017 06:19

Weigh in day. Lost 2.4lbs on my first week of 5.2 and I'm a bit disappointed with it. Sad

ArseyTussle · 24/03/2017 06:56

Oh quim, sorry to hear about your dad. Flowers

readyforsunshine · 24/03/2017 07:20

[squiffy] does it help to think of it as a % of total loss or how much closer it brings you to your next target? I'd be very pleased with over 2lbs in a week but as I said I'll be pleased if I can manage a week without gaining!
Day 3 of lo sugar, lo alcohol, Lo carb, Lo fat....no fun...
Yesterday was cinnamon oatbran porridge, spinach & baked eggs, yoghurt then a really nice chicken & green beans from skinny taste website. Anybody use this, I've just come across it?
