Welcome to a brand new shiny thread to help us all onwards and downwards through March.

Here's a link to the last February thread

I'm not sure I would even want to know my body fat %

Squiffy01 · 01/03/2017 15:21

Today has gone quite well. So far although afternoon/ evenings are generally my down fall at the moment. 416 calories so far today, there is nothing else to snack on here at work so if I can just keep it up until I get home to a light veg option it will be a fabulous day.

QuimReaper · 01/03/2017 15:33

OH WHEN THE SLENDERISTAS
GO MARCHING ON
OH WHEN THE SLENDERISTAS GO MARCHING OOOOOOON!

Hello! Smile

So I may not have lost a bloody sausage this year (apart from that random week in January when I lost a Linda which immediately catapulted back on) but I do think my thighs looks a bit slimmer.

Things are going to be a bit different for me from here in because I HAVE A KITCHEN AGAIN (!!!!!!) so there will be less Extreme Fasting and more full-week-of-sensible-eating, meaning a lot of soup, fish and veg. I'll be interested to see how it affects my weight trajectory: it might not be as effective, but it'll certainly be healthier (I'm amazed I haven't contracted scurvy in the past few months Blush) and since my current method doesn't seem to be working any more anyway, maybe a shake-up is a good thing.

I just really want to lose another 5lbs before America. Aaaargh!

teaping · 01/03/2017 15:33

Happy march losers (in the nicest possible way!).

I'm down only 2lbs for FEB - pitiful!! March muuuuuyst be better!!!

Stellar67 · 01/03/2017 15:53

Quim hallelujah to the new kitchen!

Not sure if I want to know what my body fat is either. I don't know if it's on the gym scales. I slunk past them again today.

I did go to spin, then a swim, then yoga. I feel pretty good. Apart from a bit of a sore and bloated tummy. I have been avoiding bread, rice and pasta so I don't know what it is. I am pretty good at ignoring pain so hopefully it will go away.

QuimReaper · 01/03/2017 16:13

BOOP YOU ARE SUCH A JETSETTER. How was Berlin? Did you eat all the sausage? I'm sure those 3 Lindas will deflate after a few Hairy Biker days.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 16:16

Quim existed on a diet made entirely of meat and beer for 3 days. ''Twas marvellous

Action must be taken, I've been faffing about for months. May I join you please ? I don't have a lot to lose but enough that I'm permanently carrying a spare tyre about. I have a sunny, long weekend away in May so that's my motivation.

ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 16:25

I bloody love meat. And boiled eggs.

ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 16:26

Hello Dogs, yes, come on in, the more the merrier! Do you have A Plan?

QuimReaper · 01/03/2017 16:29

Stellar wow, well done on all the gymming! I don't know what my body fat is, but I can see that it's disproportionately high for my overall weight. My weight loss so far has taken me directly from chubby to skinny-fat Sad I know the answer is to build some muscle. I'm just trying to ignore that reality.

Welcome Dogsy, join us!

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 16:29

Arsey we went to a traditional tourist trap beer keller place on Saturday night. It was the full German shizzle. Steins of beer, lederhosen, oompah band, the works. I ordered pork knuckle which was a big pork joint, as big as a baby's head. It was entirely encased in the most delicious crackling. God it was good. It's a wonder it was only a 3.3lb gain Confused

TheDogsMother · 01/03/2017 16:30

Thanks Arsey. MFP/calorie counting and stepping up the exercise is the plan. Sticking to it is the other part of the plan !

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 16:30

Sorry I missed you there Dogs with my meat chat. Hello and welcome aboard.

OP posts:
ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 16:33

I'd eat an actual baby's head if it was in crackling.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 16:44
Grin

It was a thing of great great beauty.

Then there was the potato restaurant...

QuimReaper · 01/03/2017 16:44

Arsey I refreshed the page and only saw your post, I thought it was just a completely spontaneous admission until I saw it did actually refer to something Grin Grin

BOOP my entire mouth filled with saliva reading that. Oh God I love crackling. It's one of the many things I refuse to master the art of, because I wouldn't be able to stop myself. Same reason I won't learn to deep fry things.

Did you offer up your bongo skills for the oompah band? Wink

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 16:48

I didn't want to upstage them quim! (Well remembered!)

We did attempt to dance to it though. Not as easy as you'd imagine. **

TheDogsMother · 01/03/2017 16:49

Thanks for the welcome BitOutOf and Quim. I'm with some nice company.

Did someone say a Potato Restaurant ?! How fabulous. Did it have mountains of mash ? Piles of roasties ? Heaps of chips ? Now that would be heaven.

I think I've just worked out why I'm here Grin

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 01/03/2017 16:53

Grin at DogsMother

Went into Topshop at lunchtime and discovered size 12 is a bit small. Must. Lose. More. Weight. All my existing clothes are a 12 or smaller and I am NOT going up another clothes size.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 01/03/2017 16:54

Maybe Topshop just have mad trouser-sizing. Although I don't actually buy trousers because they emphasise my lower tummy, so perhaps I just need to crunch like fuck.

ArseyTussle · 01/03/2017 16:56

At the risk of being cast out of this thread, I'm not that bothered by spuds. Or alcohol. It's the chocolate, biscuits and cake that do me in.

And the Diet Coke, I'm convinced there is something in it that makes me put weight on, same with other diet drinks.

BitOutOfPractice · 01/03/2017 17:33

TheDogs I had potatoes sliced then fried in better with onions and chopped bacon. It. Was. Lush.

There was meat as well. Obvs.

I imagine TopShop comes up very small Cheddar

Naughtysausage · 01/03/2017 17:37

Another one not bothered by alcohol or crackling. But biscuits... Ahhhh biscuits... Nothing is better than a rocky with the ends nibbled off and used as a straw in a cup of tea. Fact.
And potentially why I actually need to be here.

TheDogsMother · 01/03/2017 18:00

BitOutOf. Sighs. That sounds lovely, a sort of Teutonic Tartiflette
