Here's a link to the last February thread

That is an amazing loss from chard. Dont think ive seen you before here but i am new Grin

I haven't lost nearly as much but this is the first time i have decided i am losing weight and getting fit and actually done it.

This thread has been a great help.

ArseyTussle · 02/03/2017 14:33

Holy fuck Chard, that is amazing!! Star

I can do the breathing thing, but find it tricky on my left. I think I'm either going too fast or too slow, the breaths are too snatched, if that makes sense. I think I need to work on breathing on the left and then breathing every third stroke.

Waterproof MP3s you say? The ones I've read reviews of say they stop working really quickly, have you been having better luck?

FeckinCrutches · 02/03/2017 14:45

Oooh I love a PB Bit what did you get?

BitOutOfPractice · 02/03/2017 14:54

Very slow freckles 31:05. I am just aiming to get in under 30. I am very old Sad

Hurrah for Team BOOP-Chard - or ChOOP, if you will. Smile Amazing achievements, and in time for your holiday. Enjoy the feeling.

Good grief Quim, 10 days out of date? Shock Glad you aren't illerer than you are, could have been nasty.

I can't do front crawl at all. Blush

FeckinCrutches · 02/03/2017 16:39

That's great Bit I'm still aiming for the elusive sub 30 parkrun!

BitOutOfPractice · 02/03/2017 16:58

I can only do the old lady head-out-of-the-water breast stroke that looks like I'm trying to keep my fag alight Blush

Hello,

Can I join?? I'm roughly 2.5 stone away from goal weight and we're going to DisneyWorld in September. I want to wear shorts and a swimsuit!

DD2 is 9 weeks old and breastfed so I'm aiming for a pound a week.

The main difference between this time and other times I've dieted is DH is 100% on board. He does most of the cooking and logs it in my fitness pal and all I have to is copy it! He's also not buying big bags of crisps or biscuits. It's amazing!

Not managing any exercise atm. The weather is too bad to take the buggy out and there's no time in the evenings. I need to wait till DD2 develops some sort of nap schedule that doesn't involve being on me.

So,hi!

lastqueenofscotland · 02/03/2017 17:31

On my way back from the interview which I think went well but keep panicking that bits of it didn't.

I really hope they don't leave me in suspense over the weekend

Stellar67 · 02/03/2017 17:44

Wow people! Some amazing things are happening. I wonder if March will bring us closer to shedding our winter bodies.
You do know we have to eat more in the autum to stay warm again. Wink

I'm going swimming again tomorrow. Will report back on the breathing. I had a cheap
MP3 years ago but it broke and these days I quite like the silence underwater, and then the lifeguard singing his heart out to Rod Stewart when I stick an ear out.

Good Luck Last!
Welcome people!
Love that imagery BOOP!
Quim I'm a bit like that, I've had D&V once. Typically when I was pregnant.
Well done to the PB's, the losers, and actually entering Top Shop! Cheddar Grin

I am feeling good! Not weighing myself yet. Wonder how long I will last Grin

TVHubbyClaire · 02/03/2017 17:57

queen fingers crossed for you. I hope the belt did its job on your dress

I suck at swimming too, can't really do crawl at all and being similar age to BOOP my breast stroke is unnerringly similar although head does sometimes go under and looks like I mean it.

My club pool is only about 18m long but I dont think I've ever managed to swim 4 lengths without needing a break and to get to 20 I need a break every two at the shallow end...I would love to do something that even looks like front crawlEnvy

willhazboz · 02/03/2017 18:54

I'm an old lady breaststroke too. Can do a sort of cross between doggy paddle and front crawl though. I love swimming but I can't face a swim suit. And for some reason half of the lads from my school year are lifeguards at our pool so I'm waaay to embarrassed!
Well done to everyone's achievements and hello to newbs! Amazing loss chard

I have failed today Angry eaten carbs eaten crap and head not in the game. Have people round tomorrow night for pizza too. But I'll be good in day and get some stuff in for Saturday and be super good! Maternity leave ends on Monday and I am not ready to go back at all. So I am in a right stinker.

ArseyTussle · 02/03/2017 19:07

Feeling very proud of my swimming ability now I've realised I'm amongst the cast of Cocoon.

Not a great day for food or indeed anything here today. Work project going down the swannee (sadly not the one with the tricky clients) and I could be in danger of not being paid for the work I've done on it so far. Being self employed can be a pile of old wank sometimes.

QuimReaper · 02/03/2017 19:24

Welcome People, jolly impressed at you coming at it when the baby's only 9 weeks, and your plan sounds very doable!

BOOP wow that was fast! The Berlin Linda-loss AND the PB! Congrats on the lowest weight, you and Chard are going to be those cringey women you see on holiday taking millions of super-posey bikini pics, aren't you Grin

QuimReaper · 02/03/2017 19:27

I don't really know how I ate the chicken - it was that cooked stuff, and had been there for DH to make sandwiches with and I hadn't really paid it much attention, but then I was starving and he wasn't going to be back from tennis for another hour so I snaffled a bit to keep me going. It smelled and tasted fine, but when I was sitting on the bathroom floor at 4am I just somehow knew it was to blame, and sure enough when I sent DH down to investigate, it had been there for about as long as the bloody fridge had.

He's had a right telling off about not paying attention and chucking things away Grin

Softpebbles · 02/03/2017 19:33

Lol at blaming DH Quim!

Some great loses especially team choop!

Ok day yesterday. Today Less so. Work lunch and had a panini - was a bit crap to be honest as dry so felt a waste of calories. Scrambled egg on two small pieces of whole meal toast. Had a cup cake at work too 😬

Popping out to get grapefruit shortly. I've a recently acquired thing for them Hmm

Chardonnay73 · 02/03/2017 21:15

Quim I don't know about the bikini shots but we do like a selfie 😂

BitOutOfPractice · 02/03/2017 22:48

I've had a super golden day with both food and exercise. I'm knackered though. Not drinking doesn't suit me Confused

Morning!

Well done chard and boob. Splendid work.

Welcome to the newbies, good to have you on board. It's lovely here, very communal, you will get a boot up the arse if required and support whenever needed.

News from your Australian Correspondent: after being the same weight for about an aeon I am now down 400gms taking me to 1.7kg from my initial goal 🥂👌🎉 . At this rate I'll be at my goal when winter rolls around and I'll be fully covered up in coats and wellies.

Archduke · 03/03/2017 02:15

Should just add, it's 12.44pm, I've had my lunch and I'm STARVING Sad. It's bloody ages 'til dinner.

ArseyTussle · 03/03/2017 06:56

Morning all! 1.7lb down so I'm finally properly under a stone in all.

Off for a run today, but I had a crap night's sleep so I'm expecting it to be hard work.

Squiffy01 · 03/03/2017 07:10

I'VE DONE IT!!! I don't know how but I've done it!
I'M IN THE GREEN!
Thank you all so much for not letting me give up last week when I gained over 3lbs you were right it was a blip. This mornings weigh in I was -5.7 Linda's!!!! Which since it was a blip I'm not counting all of that. So after the gain I've lost 1.9 Linda's for this week! Grin
I'm stoked I was hoping for a stay the same over the month but convinced I would have gained!

Jan - -6.6lbs
Feb - -2.4lbs

Next goal is a new kg bracket.

Thank you all so much. Wouldn't be doing it without all you lovely ladies and TV Grin

Well done on the losses!
I was hoping to be down a lb today but no luck.
Plan for today-

Breakfast out, probably eggs benedict
Lunch-tuna salad
Dinner- some sort of protein with greens, not sure yet.
No exercise planned but might go for a walk
No wine!!
