BOOP and Chard you both look like you're having a ball, and so glam too!

Flowers for you Quim it must be a very worrying time for you.

Pretty golden day for me today. Worried about dh though - he's on this massive bike race and is carrying a few injuries. Hoping it's nothing serious as he's on the edge of the 'great fuck all' (Nullabor Plain) so no help if he gets really stuck. He's cycled 960km in 3 days, silly sod, so no wonder he's picking up some pain.

Archduke · 20/03/2017 12:01

Oh, and I'm in a new kilo bracket! Less thank a kilo to my first goal.

QuimReaper · 20/03/2017 12:24

Wowzer Archie your husband is so hardcore! How much longer does the race go on for? I must say I'm bemused by people who find that sort of thing fun Grin and WAHEEEEY for a new kg bracket, terrific stuff!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 20/03/2017 12:26

Hurray for a new kilo bracket, Archie!

Quim, best wishes for your dad.

I am doing FGGF, because every time I try to do ADF I crack during the second fast.

goodness me I'm knackered but what a classic few days we've had.

Not so happy about the gain on the scales this morning though.

Quim you've got us the right way round. How did you work that out?

Best wishes to your dad Flowers

Morning all 11.4 today, not too bad as I ate a lot Saturday and had a big meal out on Sunday!

Off work with a hideous cold today, hoping I feel better tomorrow

Chardonnay73 · 20/03/2017 15:56

waves weakly alongside Boop
My goodness, what a brilliant few days we have had! Drank ( for Britain), ate, danced,Kareoked, sunbathed ( when the bloody sun came out for the last day and a half 😒) and laughed our socks off! It was fantastic- just what we needed after the long winter of starvation 😂
And.... I only put on a pound!!!!! God knows how!
Now for a hardcore 3 weeks before the next one - hoping to get 7lbs off 😱
Sorry no personals, I am so tired I can barely type, let alone remember what everyone has been up to, early night tonight for me .....

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 20/03/2017 19:45

I am now on 539 calories and I haven't counted stir-fry sauce (because DH made it and has no clue what quantities he put in). I have consumed 3 cups of tea with milk and steak stir-fry. No exercise yet. Trying to psych myself up to Shredding.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 20/03/2017 19:45

How are all the other fasters doing?

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 20/03/2017 19:46

Quim, you do loads of exercise, don't you?

Stellar67 · 20/03/2017 20:29

My fast day ended up at 1071. The dinner lady felt sorry for me today (work is horrible just now) so I got left some lovely sticky toffee pudding, which I ate because I forgot I was fasting till I was at the last spoon, which I didn't eat.

So I will try again tomorrow.
I've brushed my teeth now.

Cheddar NO! I used to swim a couple of times a week. I was ever at best a Swimming Quim, and I now do nothing except try and rack up lots of walking!

BOOP I don't know, it's funny how much of someone comes off on the page though, don't you think? I'd have put my life on you two being that way round! I wouldn't say you look as I envisioned you though, you look incredibly sweet and pretty, and I always for some reason imagined you a sort of Eustacia Vye figure with raven hair and exotic eyes and an uncompromising look Grin

QuimReaper · 20/03/2017 21:52

Cheddar I wouldn't worry about stir fry sauce, all those sauces like soy and oyster have like 3 calories a spoon, so unlikely to have affected anything.

QuimReaper · 20/03/2017 21:54

Stellar I genuinely think a day which involves Sticky Toffee Pud AND comes in at circa 1K calories is a victory Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 20/03/2017 22:26

Quim I'd be delighted to be Vyesque. I studied that book for a level about 409 years ago

I have lost 0.25 of a pound and am still higher than last week's lowest weight. FFS. Grr! I have lost zilch this month - in fact, since the middle of February. So it's not just you, Keep!

Plus it's effing snowing and the traffic is crawling as a result. I am sure I retain weight more when it's cold!

Settling in with grim determination to have a golden day today. Yoghurt and apple packed for breakfast if I ever reach work at this rate and I'll buy soup for lunch. Must resist the bread!

HairsprayBabe · 21/03/2017 08:20

Morning all,
Feeling much better than yesterday and weighing in at 11.3 very happy with that as it has been my Friday weight for about 3 weeks now! AF arrived Sunday evening so I am hoping for a bit of a woosh this week...

Maybe this is the week I go sub 11...

-4lbs for the month with 10 days to go!

QuimReaper · 21/03/2017 11:04

Oh koko bless you, it's so tough when you don't see results straight away. Is there anything I can say to wean you off daily weigh-ins? They are definitely not good for you! I'd suggest trying to scale back to twice a week max, and only ever after a run of at least two (preferably three) golden days - what do you say?

Cheddar where are you that it's snowing? It's no more than a bit nippy where I am, I hope it isn't headed for us! It's still early in the week for a Weekly Low, don't despair yet - the plateau has to end some time.

Hairspray fingers crossed for that new stone bracket - sounds like you're on for it before the end of the month at any rate!

BitOutOfPractice · 21/03/2017 12:19

I am too too ashamed to tell you how much weight I put on in Tenerife. So so depressing.

Anyway, tell me your low cal but immensely satisfying lunch ideas please. I've been working since 6 am and I'm STARVING

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 21/03/2017 12:25

Oh BOOP it is likely to just by glycogen stores, a few golden days and you will be back on track!

Low calorie filling lunch 2 egg omelette and big leafy green salad - 170 cals

NSV for me, one of the guys in my team just said I am looking very slim today, plus I am wearing a shirt I last wore when I was 18! (I kept it cause it is vintage) I keep getting the button popping lynx effect thing though Blush need to buy a vest!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 21/03/2017 13:09

Keep I definitely agree with Quim about daily weigh-ins. That way madness lies!

Boop and Chard hope you had a lovely holiday. Very glamorous photo, but for some reason I was convinced Boop was a brunette!

I am back on the wagon, back at work and having a fast day today. I still need to meal plan for the week, and work out what exercise I can fit it.

BitOutOfPractice · 21/03/2017 13:27

Spurious Of course I still may be a brunette. Wink
