koko I meant to ask if you'd read that rather good article someone posted, either upthread or in the last one, about plateaus? It was very encouraging.

BitOutOfPractice · 10/03/2017 16:56

Yes Quim I've done it. I'm there. Grin

Bloody hell that was a feat of willpower. I'd kill for a KFC now.

Hairspray - you are babeliscious in both photos, but just wow at you now. Bloody well done.

Niki there's a definite difference in those photos, so much more toned and defined now. Hope you can see it too.

keepon it was me that posted the plateaus article if you want to go back and search for it (might have been on one of the February threads). I am currently on one now!

BOOP you realise that picking up the two weights you were more or less lifting what you have lost. You were carrying those two 12kg weights with you all the time before! What an amazing achievement, well done on reaching your target. Star

FreeNiki · 10/03/2017 18:53

Thanks guys!

I still have an overweight BMI as my trouble area is my butt, hips and thighs. I carry several inches of fat there and it is impossible to shift.

At least the waist line is better though.

Boop it is incredible isnt it? Thinking how much extra weight we were carrying.

I have lost only 8lb but even so thats the weight of a newborn.

Millie04 · 10/03/2017 19:53

Freeniki you have the healthiest shape in terms of storing fat and I can see the inches you've lost clearly in those pics. You've really improved your health as a result! I store fat around my middle so can get away with looking ok slimish until I sit down. Am fighting the tummy bulge.

ponygirlcurtis · 10/03/2017 20:02

Niki I sometimes pick up a few books before I weigh so I can weigh again without them to check the scales are definitely right. It always amazes me that just a few weeks before I would have had those books' weight distributed on my body. And Millie is right, the doctors talk about waist measurement as indicators of health unfortunately, since mine is vair flabulous so you are loads healthier now which is fantastic.

FreeNiki · 10/03/2017 20:10

I hadnt thought of that. Will break out the measuring tape now to see what the waist is.

I also pick up weights in the gym and marvel how I was literally carrying that extra weight on my body.

Archduke · 10/03/2017 20:33

Hairspray you look great (but then you also did before), congratulations on losing 4 STONE! That is an amazing achievement, you should do a massive air punch right now. It shows such commitment to your health and well being, well done young lady Grin.

Niki you can definitely see a difference too, you look so slim!

BOOP Yay for healthy BMI! Could you really eat a KFC? I'm 48 and never had one, someone told me (when I was at an impressionable age) some urban myth about biting into chicken with pus boils at KFC and it put me off for life.

Parkrun for me this morning, then a haircut, then lunch with DH's Canadian Cousins who are over here on holibobs, escaping the Toronto winter for 30 degrees and beaches. we're going to my brother in laws house, bil is fantastic and works in the wine biz (free wine woo hoo!) so am looking forward to it.

Softpebbles · 11/03/2017 07:40

Morning ladies out and running at 7am so I don't worry to much about food today. I'm not doing anything just weekends tend to be harder!

Running is so hard. I definitely ran further without stopping and made it up the hill but I'm starting to think this isn't for me! X

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 11/03/2017 08:10

10.11 AGAIN. Pissing hell.

HairsprayBabe · 11/03/2017 08:31

Morning all,
Wedding was nice except for the fact that there was no vegitarian main meal Confused options were buffet of rice chips naan chiclen curry veg samosas and onion barji and a salad.
So I had 2 onion barji, 2 samosa, some salad and a small wedge of naan. "Well done Hairspray" I hear you all cry... not so sadly the lack of main meal meant I went a little over board at the sweety buffet Shock and had a bag of pick and mix that was totally unnesaasary. I didnt even enjoy it much either really I just ate it because it was there and I felt hard donr by the mains.
However that being said I only drank about 4 glasses of wine all day and therefor I am not hideously hungover today.

11.4 this morning and I am reasonably happy with that given they food and drink I had yesterday!

HairsprayBabe · 11/03/2017 08:35

Oh! And thank you all for the lovely compliments I am blushing like mad here Blush
And I apologise for being so young for all those hating that I am barely out of the pram 😂😂😂

I'm in awe of those brave enough to post pictures!

Have managed to not have too much of a disaster so far this weekend.

BitOutOfPractice · 11/03/2017 15:35

Hello lovely people

Absolutely love a 4lb whoosh!

It's DD2's birthday today. We went out for breakfast and I had pancakes and bacon. Bad bad dieter! Not had lunch though so holding out for dinner now

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 11/03/2017 18:57

NSV she says grumpily because scale victories are MIA two people asked if I'd lost weight today. Okay, they were my mum and my grandma, but it still counts!

BitOutOfPractice · 11/03/2017 19:57

ponygirlcurtis · 12/03/2017 10:45

Morning everyone. keepon well done on the whoosh, keep at it.

I am taking a wee break from logging, period is due anyway. I am hoping to maintain and then get back to it again for a last push for these final 4lbs.

ArseyTussle · 12/03/2017 11:11

Nowt doing on the scales here, had a rather big weekend foodwise. Ran 7k this morning so hoping minimal damage will be done.

Yay Niki!

Today has been bad. Much sticky toffee pudding. New plan: giving up sugar.

Mon: No S (sweets, snacks, seconds)
Tues: Fast
Wed: No S
Thurs: Fast
Fri: No sugar only
Sat: No sugar
Sun: No S

Going to try that plus as much exercise as I can manage to cram in.
