WOOOOOAH BOOP, 50lbs lost! That is inSANE, well done! And congrats to you bonnie queenie, you hero, I knew you could do it!

Hairspray you look wonderful, gorgeous jeans! Where are they from? I can't believe you're not a healthy BMI, you certainly look it.

I've decided to start planking every day to try and tone my squidgy waist. I might try the old MN staple of squatting while toothbrushing too. Anyone else?

Softy I'm planning a PT too once we can afford to get some weights, to help me off the ground with weightlifting. £20 seems very reasonable, is that normally what it costs? Might ask for a few sessions for my birthday...

BitOutOfPractice · 08/03/2017 15:44

I'd been thinking of asking for some pt sessions for my birthday but I'm not sure if it's worth it when there's so little I can do with my dodgy shoulder

I love the sound of tooth brushing squats quim. I'll join you in that.

Well I made it to gym at lunchtime (still have the sore legs to prove it). Managed 4.5km on treadmill in just under half an hour but it was a bit of a struggle. I'm just hoping this motivates me to go more often.

Quim I'm definitely in for tooth brushing squats too, does this mean you stay in a squat whilst brushing teeth or do squats up and down while brushing teeth, I'm not sure i am co-ordinated enough for that.....

General question on doing plank - do you set a time and try and make it or stop when it gets too sore. What is a good time to aim for?
I vaguely recall getting to a minute with a struggle at some point in my past.

ArseyTussle · 08/03/2017 18:12

Holy fuck, BOOP, that's amazing! Well done! How long has that taken you?

Archduke · 08/03/2017 18:56

It's 5am here, I woke up early after a nightmare about my eldest dd turning into a ferrel teenager. She's off to a school camp today so I thinkI I'm getting worried about her growing up . . .

A daily plank & squat challenge would be great Quim. TV I think if we started with 30 seconds of planking x 10 reps and 2 mins of squats/toothbrushing we would abs and thighs of steel by next Tuesday,

KOKO do you mean you have gone back up to your highest weight ever? If so and you are doing 1200 cals per day then that is v odd and miserable for you. Do you think it's worth seeing a doc to discuss it - rule out any other issues?

Squiffy01 · 08/03/2017 19:05

boop that is absolutely amazing well done!!!!

£20 for personal training is brilliant round here it's £50 minimum but anywhere between 50 and 80. I so badly want to do i As that is the only thing that will get me properly working out but I just can't bring myself to spend the money.

lastqueenofscotland · 08/03/2017 19:26

I've been awful again today Angry M
Going to draw a line through today and start again tomorrow, please keep me in check all day!!!

HairsprayBabe · 08/03/2017 19:26

Thanks quim they are from newlook and only 25 quid a pop!

Stirlig effort boop the -50lb club is a fun place to be! I am hoping to be in the -60lbs club soon!

Millie04 · 08/03/2017 19:49

I re-uploaded MyFitnessPal onto my phone today. I shall battle on with it. Was surprised by how quickly I reached 700 cals!
Wondering if I'm not drinking enough water. That helps weight loss so I've heard. So difficult drinking water on grey and cold days!
BOop that is super amazing weight loss. You must feel like a new woman Halo

BitOutOfPractice · 08/03/2017 20:08

It's taken me just over 7 months Arsey which I guess makes it around 7lbs a month Grin spooky eh?

Well done on getting to the gym TV. Did it help focus you in the afternoon?

Lasty I won't be around much tomorrow but there will be others to cheer you on / kick you up the arse. Come on chick. You can do this

The PT was home based not at a gym but she had all the things. Was really informative and I am sure I will ache! 😫

I've put on three Linda's Sad my aim now is to lose half a stone from that so be 9st 6 by the time I leave my current job on the 3rd. (Who on earth has monday as their last day... Cheers HR)

Stellar67 · 09/03/2017 08:26

Cannot move today. My body has broken.

Lasty step away from the scales? How do you feel in yourself? I know you want that magic number on the scales. But don't be so hard on yourself. And Monday???

I'm going to yoga today. It's a beginner class and although I'm not technically meant to be a beginner, I like going as it's an easy stretch. And I do need it.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/03/2017 08:45

Yay BOOP, 50 lindas buggered off is amazing! You are brilliant at this dieting game!

Hairspray, love the jeans!

Still 10.12.25. Grr. Day off today as it's DD2's birthday - there will be cake and pizza! Then fasting tomorrow, followed by another birthday party on Sat (grandad's 80th), followed by my stillborn daughter's birthday on Monday. I've taken the day off and I will just be a bit quiet - so no fasting on Monday either. Will fast on Tuesday instead. Might consider throwing in an extra 800 cal day next week to see off some poundage!

HairsprayBabe · 09/03/2017 08:54

Rats MN ate my post - Suffice it to say I did boot camp with DP last night and now I am so sore.

Also 11.4 today so -3 for this month so far. Onwards and downwards everyone!

TVHubbyClaire · 09/03/2017 09:13

Better weigh in this morning.......12st 11 1/4, still hopeful I can get close to 12st 7 this month

Legs were bloomin sore yesterday after such a short run Blush but Im telling myself I had to start somewhere. I'm sure I slept better last night and I'm telling myself it contrbuted to my better weigh in this morningSmile

Badminton tonight and hopefully another treadmill session tomorrow. Feeling a bit more positive and ready for some planking!!

lastqueenofscotland · 09/03/2017 09:34

Stellar I have been eating like noones business since Monday! Thankfully a wake up call!

Archduke · 09/03/2017 11:38

Cheddar Flowers

For Monday xx

QuimReaper · 09/03/2017 13:00

lasty how you getting on? I'm just breaking my fast (except tea) now with a cup of green sludge very virtuous veg smoothie so feeling golden here! Still really rotten on the exercise though. I've totally lost my mojo on that front.

I forgot to squat whilst brushing this morning Confused I'm not sure I can manage 10 x 30 at the moment plank-wise but I'll do 30-second planks and see how many I can do, good idea Archie! My plan was to just hang in there for as long as I could but yours sounds much better.

Anyone else doing it today?

QuimReaper · 09/03/2017 13:04

Oh, Cheddar I'm so sorry. Flowers

Stellar67 · 09/03/2017 13:28

Quim and Archie I'm in for planking. Do we report what we've done in here each day?

BitOutOfPractice · 09/03/2017 13:43
