I'm just within the healthy weight range, but would love to lose 15lbs as that is where I felt best. Ideally I'd like to lose 1 lb per week, and be at my goal weight by Summer as we are planning a beachieve holiday - but mainly I just want to feel and look better as I haven't been taking care of myself lately. I will weigh myself every Sunday.
Today's weight: 9st4lbs (130lbs)
Goal weight: 8st3lbs (115lbs)
Lbs to go: 15

Anyone like to join?

Day 3...Beenjoy so busy at work!

Cereal
Banana
Mexican chicken black rice bean salad
Apple
Sausage chips and beans

Not the healthiest tea but what I like about calorie counting is that it doesn't really matter. Coming in at around 1350 calories.

Off swimming now will do 50 lengths.

twobambinos · 02/03/2017 18:07

Today went OK I think.
Porridge with blueberry compote for breakfast late.
Lunch was an apple and a handful of peanuts
Dinner was roast chicken with stuffing beetroot and green beans and cherry tomatoes.
5km run and a pilates class.

Hope every one else is going good. I'm looking forward to weighing in at the end of the week.

Trying to drink water here against my willGrin

Thingsgettingstranger · 02/03/2017 18:27

I've been good today, which is aNazeing given that I worked at home today which is udually fatal as every time I get a big bored I raid the fridge. But today I resisted.

B - 2 eggs
L - cheese salad
D - chicken, courgettes, aubergines stir fried

Then I went to step aerobics. But we're out to dinner with friends tomorrow night so it all.may go to pot!

Thingsgettingstranger · 03/03/2017 15:54

Stayed on track today! Very pleased!
B - banana
L - Ham sandwich w/2 slices wholemeal bread (no butter) and black coffee
Tea will be homemade pasta bolognese (whole wheat)
Water by the end of the day will be 1.5L hopefully.
Exercise has also been done, with some more later.

Blowing it all out of the water tonight. Friend coming up from London with some bud lights (thinks that's doing me a favour)

Tried to build myself a calorie deficit till then.

Cereal
Banana
Smoked salmon, new potatoe salad with salad leafs
Three chicken legs
Water.

Lots of beer!

Will do a kettles class before then in the hope of reducing the damage.

twobambinos · 03/03/2017 20:18

Today not so good. Confused will try make up for it the weekend with a long run probably about 10 miles and will go easy on the food tomorrow and Sunday.

Hope you are feeling better things. It's whatever gets you through the day when you are sick.

clematisflower · 03/03/2017 23:14

Today:

B:Porridge with blueberries
L:Chicken salad +pear
T:Veggie pizza

Exercise video done
BUT snacks: apple, breadsticks, latte and 4 biscuits Sad

Any tips for cutting out the biscuits - other than eating biscuits everyday I'm feel doing well! I'm proabably still in negative calories for the day but the sugar can't be good.

PuddleglumtheMarshWiggle · 04/03/2017 12:05

Not so good for me. I was hoping to use the gym at work but had lunchtime meetings instead. Am in the middle of selling my mum's flat so evenings have been spent going through forms and finding legal documents and then delivering to solicitor. Hope I can manage more exercise next week.

Thingsgettingstranger · 04/03/2017 12:31

Hi everyone. Today is going amazing for me. Breakfast was a banana and a coffee. Lung was a wholemeal tuna mayo sandwich and loads of veg. Tea will be a homemade turkey casserole with loads of veg. Done a 3 mile run and drank 1.25 L water.

Hope today's good for you bambino.

clematis with the biscuits, you could try cutting down gradually, maybe cut down by 1 every few days until you just don't feel like eating them anymore?

puddle I know how that feels, work is always busy for me too Sad Hopefully next week you can be a bit more active.

Hope everyone is enjoying today and staying on track as best they can.

Today going a bit better. Porridge and apple and cinnamon.
Lunch leftover mild chicken curry with almonds and rice. Small portion.
One fun size packet of milky way disks.
Dinner will be grilled steak with lots of mushrooms onions green beans and cherry tomatoes. Will do 30minutes on the treadmill later.

twobambinos · 04/03/2017 14:10

Clematis. Could you buy the biscuits that are already divided into snack packs? Would that help I wonder. Some times I find the snacksize things are just enough to take away the craving.

Xoticdreamz · 04/03/2017 14:15

Hi , I would like to join if that's okay . I started on the 6 th Feb and have gone from 10st 1 lb to 9 stone 7 . Would love to be seeing the 8 by my b day and trip to Amsterdam and the end of the month .
Not able to exercise at the moment as recovering from 3 open fractures and an operation on my fingers which is surprisingly limiting.

Thingsgettingstranger · 04/03/2017 14:27

Hi Xotic well done on the weight loss so far! That's fab! Wishing you a speedy recovery Smile

So yesterday was a write off as it was my brother's wedding. Although actually didn't overeat or drink much so probably not end of the world. Are we weighing in Sunday or Monday?

Thingsgettingstranger · 04/03/2017 14:37

Flash weigh in is tomorrow. I've been bad overall this week so expecting a gain, although maybe I'll maintain (she says hopefully Grin)

OP posts:
Flashinthepan · 04/03/2017 14:48

Haha. Ok. Yes I would be happy to maintain. Although am hoping all the exercise ive done over the past 3 weeks might start to show in the scale!

littlemissM92 · 04/03/2017 15:08

I will have to weigh in on Monday morn as don't have scales at home
Will weigh when I get to work x

clematisflower · 04/03/2017 21:05

Thanks for the biscuit suggestions - I looked at snack packs but I'm off all choclate at the moment so none of the other biscuits took my fancy (luckily!). I might wrap some single biscuits in clingfilm so I can't mindlessly eat 5 with a cup of tea and waste 300 calories in 5 minutes!

No biscuits today, but I have had a small bit of cake. Otherwise healthy meals. Plan for tomorrow is plenty of exercise and no biscuits!

Well done Xotic on the weightloss so far Smile

PuddleglumtheMarshWiggle · 05/03/2017 08:11

Not a good result, actually put on a pound this week Sad pizza last night didn't help but it was a night out with friends and I thought I'd been careful all week.
Hopefully next week will be better.

twobambinos · 05/03/2017 08:56

I stayed the same. Can't believe it. Oh well onwards and downwards. Still 9st 8
Had the porridge for breakfast so good start to the day.

clematisflower · 05/03/2017 10:37

Puddle and Bambino I'm sure the scales will shift downwards next week. It sometimes takes a while to show I find.

I'm 1lb off in two weeks (didn't weigh last week) so now 10lb 4. Smile

robinia · 05/03/2017 10:47

I think I need to be on this thread.
5'6 - did weigh 12st 5 at tops.
Have managed to shift a stone but still technically overweight. 11st 2 is the max for healthy weight though I am muscly and even when I was at my max people would say it was ridiculous I was overweight because I didn't look it.
I don't count calories or particularly plan what I eat. What's worked for me so far is completely cutting out fizzy drinks. Then two meals only a day, lunch and dinner - I haven't eaten breakfast for about 10 years anyway. And no snacking except fruit.
Exceptions permitted for nights out. And I eat whatever I want for lunch and dinner and as much as I want.
If I feel hungry between meals I just get a piece of fruit - usually a satsuma or grapes.

Would just also like to add that some of the weight goals on here seem excessively low. People aiming to lose a stone when they are already in the healthy weight range.

My goal is 10 st 7 or thereabouts. I know this last half stone is going to take the longest. But I do think my regime is sustainable.

Xoticdreamz · 05/03/2017 11:37

Thanks for the welcome . I usually weigh on Monday but did it this morning
Remain at 9 stone 7 . Hopefully more moving and walking this week will get them off .
Hope you see the scales go down today.
