I'm just within the healthy weight range, but would love to lose 15lbs as that is where I felt best. Ideally I'd like to lose 1 lb per week, and be at my goal weight by Summer as we are planning a beachieve holiday - but mainly I just want to feel and look better as I haven't been taking care of myself lately. I will weigh myself every Sunday.
Today's weight: 9st4lbs (130lbs)
Goal weight: 8st3lbs (115lbs)
Lbs to go: 15

Anyone like to join?

Flashinthepan - thanks I know my diet is far from ideal too many carbs not enough protein/veg I'm a vegan so can't eat eggs or the usu protein sources, I'll have to get more nuts/seeds but the easy option is the quick carbs.

Ahhh Sweet yes I see that it would be more difficult then. Do you like cooking? Perhaps a good vegan cookbook/easy vegan recipes if you don't like cooking could be a treat to yourself as a reward for your progress so far!

Back down to flickering between 10st3 and 10st 4 this morning. Think the increase early in the week was water retention from so much running.

Today:
B: banana; eggs
L: leftover carrot and feta salad. Possibly a bowl of soup/slice of toast.
D: salmon, broccoli with shallots, garlic and vinaigrette, sweet potato wedges.
S: banana

E: 2 mile walk, it's too hot for anything else!

sweet - well done on an amazing loss!!

I saw an 8 on the scales this morning!! 8st13. I read it as 9st13 and was gutted - turned to elation once I registered that 8! Fingers crossed the scales will still say the same on Friday...

Ah my people! I has noticed that recently clothes were getting a bit tight... I used to be 8 stone then 8.5. When I weighed myself this morning (I never do) I actually hauled out the old scales as I was sure the electronic ones were busted. Just shy of 11 fucking stone!!

What happened? I was always so skinny that bastards would ask tell me if I was anorexic.

Welcome original. I've been trying to lose the same stone for about 8 years! (Not joking). But I'm on my way. And you can get there too.

Pug what an inspiration. You've done amazingly! I cant even get half a stone off and I'm only trying to lose a stone. I want to see the nines!

Hovering between 10st 2 and 3 this morning! Yay! This week is proof that if you know you are doing all the right things, you can have a big upward fluctuation randomly and come out of the week lighter then you've been in months! Just have to stick with it.

Today:
B: 2 poached eggs, piece of toast
L: noodle soup with greens
D: halloumi salad with herby dressing
S: banana; apple

E: 1.5 mile run; 1/2 mile walk (have to pick up groceries mid way!)

Amazing pug.

Today:
B: bowl of soup (weird I know)
L: 3 egg omelette with herbs and some cheese
D: greek salad

E: 2 mile run.

Going out for drinks as it's my brother's birthday. Have two cocktails in mind and that will be my limit.

This weekend is birthday celebrations so have to be careful. Doing park run tomorrow, and then lunch at a turkish restaurant at 12. But should be easy to eat healthily there with lots of veg and fish etc.

Dinner will be snacks, so olives, bread etc, need to be careful not to overdo it. Sunday going out for a pub lunch, need to plan something healthy to order in advance so I don't get carried away.

Can I join? I'm currently 11st1lb after breastfeeding dd2. I'm usually around 10st4. I only gained 23lb during pregnancy, most of which fell off when I gave birth leaving me with half a stone to lose. Then my milk came in, my appetite went crazy and I ate because I thought I could because of bf. Turns out not to be the case! I've finished feeding now and want to be back to my fighting weight before I go back to work in August. My target is 9st7lb. I'm using the My Fat Secret app, aiming for 1500 calories a day and alternating exercise dvds and brisk walks with my pram. Also starting Zumba on Monday.

Well I've lost 1.5lb in 5 days so going in the right direction. I'm 7lb down from my heaviest so it's progress! I'm motivated to keep going now.

Weigh in today - only lost a pound this week but 6lbs in total only another 8lbs to go.

Need to do more exercise but it's hard as I'm always tired from the fibromyalgia

That's great progress sweet. 1 lb a week is excellent when you're only looking to lose another half a stone.

Today:
B: greek yoghurt and tayberries
L: sauteed onion, spinach, chorizo and cannelini beans with lemon and chilli.
D: aubergine with herby pesto, carrot and moroccan feta salad, flatbreads.
S: banana

E: 2 mile walk.

I've really nailed 5k now, did park run again on Saturday, also under 30 mins. So my last 3 park runs have been under 30 mins.

Lost 2.5lb this week! I'm delighted. 4.5lb to my next target of 9st. Depending how long it takes me I might go lower, but we'll see.

I'm surprising myself with how determine I am to be good with food. I haven't gone over my calories allowance once despite having a beer on Saturday and a glass of wine yesterday. I feel so much better in myself. Hope the scales show it on Sunday!
