I'm just within the healthy weight range, but would love to lose 15lbs as that is where I felt best. Ideally I'd like to lose 1 lb per week, and be at my goal weight by Summer as we are planning a beachieve holiday - but mainly I just want to feel and look better as I haven't been taking care of myself lately. I will weigh myself every Sunday.
Today's weight: 9st4lbs (130lbs)
Goal weight: 8st3lbs (115lbs)
Lbs to go: 15

Anyone like to join?

Thank so for the welcome flashinthepan

Today is Day 1 going to try to keep to 1200-1300 cals walked the dog for 90 mins and 20 mins gentle cycling on the bike.

Flashinthepan · 30/05/2017 15:45

I've eaten chocolate and biscuits today! First day back at work after a bank holiday is prime snacking territory! Bad Flash!

PugwallsSummer · 30/05/2017 20:28

Hi kitty!

Never mind flash - a few chocolate biccies won't hurt, surely? (That's what I tell myself anyway!).

Today:

B: weetabix with honey, 2 satsumas
S: nectarine
L: small wholemeal sandwich with sugar free PB
S: costa skinny latte
D: cottage pie

Flashinthepan · 31/05/2017 09:06

Obviously they helped Pug as I'm flickering between 10st 2 and 10st 3 this morning!

Today:
B: toast with butter and banana
L: leftover homemade veggie pizza
D: stir fried veg, carrots and pork chop (and gravy!)
S: banana; cucumber

E: 2 mile run

PugwallsSummer · 31/05/2017 19:32

Today in all it's disastrous glory:

B/L bacon sandwich in white roll, chocolate brioche
S: chocolate wafer biscuit
D: takeaway fish & chips

W: barely half a litre

😳

Flashinthepan · 01/06/2017 14:07

Never mind Pug You're strong, you can get back on the bandwagon, and it can't undo how far you've come already!

Today:
B: greek yoghurt and stewed rhubarb
L: homemade veggie pizza
D: not sure, going to friends for dinner, but they are no dairy vegetarians so sure it will be healthy!
S: lavender shortbread; banana

E: 2 mile run.

Some water, not very good at keeping track, but I tend to drink at least 1 litre just in the evening.

Flashinthepan · 02/06/2017 12:53

Dinner last night was a very healthy north African aubergine and sweet potato stew with cous cous. And I didn't have a massive portion either. Did have chocolate mousse with raspberries for dessert though!

Today:
B: two poached eggs on toast
L: homemade chilli with rice
D: chorizo and chickpea tagine with warm Moroccan carrot salad and flat breads.
S: grapes; tomato; carrot sticks.

E: 1 mile run, 1 mile walk, JM 30 day shred.

sweetkitty · 02/06/2017 23:03

Well the week started well before disaster struck! Yesterday I had to go on a course had a terrible time getting there no time to make lunch ended up with a wrap 520 cals and a giant cookie 300 odd cals and a chip butty on the way home!

Have comfort ate today as well chocolate and biscuits my downfall. Feel rubbish and guilty it's only week one!

PugwallsSummer · 04/06/2017 21:43

Its been a bad week for me too kitty.
So many birthdays/celebrations in my family at this time of year - meals out, cakes, alcohol - plus half term - gah!

My birthday on Weds so this week is likely to be bad too.

Successes:
SmileI've maintained eating healthy in amongst the treats.
SmileI've not been defeatist e.g. Not thinking "I've had a pudding, I may as well polish off this 1kg bar of galaxy now"
SmileI've enjoyed what I've eaten and mainly not beaten myself up about it
Smilesomehow I've managed to stay at 9st 2...

Fails:
Hmmnot posting my food on here - it genuinely keeps me on track in a way that nothing else does
Hmmarranging too many lunch-type get togethers over half term
Hmmdeciding in advance not to have a bacon sandwich/cake/chips etc but losing my resolve at the last minute

SO! Back on it! Again! 💪

I will be here tomorrow posting a faultless day's eating!

sweetkitty · 04/06/2017 23:56

Right back on it tomorrow morning

robinia · 05/06/2017 07:51

Flash - I like the idea of chocolate biscuits helping!
Pug - maybe not the healthiest day but probably not a huge number of calories overall.
I've slipped off the bandwagon a bit over the weekend foodwise but lots of exercise to compensate so only put on 3lb which seems only fair! Back on the straight and narrow this week.
Tried on some of last year's shorts and half of them are literally falling off me which really did shock me. Has given me a real incentive to get to work on trying to shift the tummy flab which is the last bit of flab left - before buying some new shorts!

sweetkitty · 05/06/2017 10:00

I can't get last years shorts over my hips Sad looking on Fitbit I'm half a stone heavier than I was this time last year and I was still trying to lose that half a stone.

Flashinthepan · 05/06/2017 10:01

Morning all! So yesterday I weighed in at 10 stone 4. I'm ok with that, it represents a genuine weight loss of 4 pounds in a month.

However this morning, I was 10 st 6! I know it's fluctuation, which could be due to AF approaching this week (or quietly optimistic that I might have finally managed to get pregnant!)

Today:
B: slice of seeded wholgrain homemade bread with honey and banana
L: half an aubergine with tomato sauce and feta
D: half a baked potato and half a baked sweet potato with feta and chorizo/cheddar and red onion
S: homemade pita chips; cherries; grapes

E: 2 mile run, 1/2 mile walk, 1.15 mins yoga.

PugwallsSummer · 05/06/2017 19:43

robinia - buy those new shorts with pride! 👍

flash - hate the water fluctuation!!

sweet - don't be down-hearted - you can lose that 7Ibs!

Today:

B: fruit salad, decaf coffee
L: whole meal chicken sandwich, banana
S: nectarine
D: Thai green curry with rice

W: 2 litres
E: none

sweetkitty · 05/06/2017 22:12

I've had 1500cals today and am hungry now and have felt hungry most of the day 🙁

Flashinthepan · 06/06/2017 09:57

Morning all!

Today:
B: Piece of whole meal seeded toast with two poached eggs.

L: tuna salad
D: Courgette couscous with lemon chicken
S: Banana; cherries; grapes

E: 2 mile walk. Taking it easy this week as had some cramping after my run yesterday and worried if I'm upduffed that I upset it!

PugwallsSummer · 06/06/2017 11:19

sweet - don't give up! The first couple of weeks are the worst, but once you get past the 2 week barrier you feel less hungry and you will have lost a few pounds, which is when the willpower kicks in. Stick with it!

PugwallsSummer · 06/06/2017 11:20

flash keeping everything crossed for you... 🤞

Flashinthepan · 06/06/2017 11:32

Thanks Pug I'm trying not to get too excited but it's hard not to feel slightly optimistic!

PugwallsSummer · 06/06/2017 22:33

Today:

B: fruit salad
L: whole meal chicken sandwich, banana
D: medium jacket potato with cheese & salad

W: 2 litres
E: none

Elements of dejavu today! But still, I feel like I'm back in the game 👍

It's my birthday tomorrow, somehow got to avoid excessive eating...

sweetkitty · 06/06/2017 22:49

Thanks for the support

Today was better just over 1300 cals and 45 mins on the bike!

Flashinthepan · 07/06/2017 10:38

Today:

B: banana
L: turkish food (work lunch)
D: courgette and lemon spaghetti
S: cherries; slice of chocolate and salted caramel roulade (colleague's birthday)

E: 2 mile run; JM 30 day shred (to make up for the roulade!)

Flashinthepan · 08/06/2017 09:21

AF arrived for me so think the fluctuation was water retention. Had a good food and exercise day yesterday, despite massive sugar cravings.

Today:
B: piece of toast with jam
L: courgette and feta pasta
D: cottage pie with vegetables
S: small banana; apple; grapes

E: 2 mile run; JM 30 day shred

PugwallsSummer · 08/06/2017 11:12

Ah sorry to hear that flash. The 2 week wait is the worst...

Yesterday was predictably bad as I went out for a birthday meal and I didn't hold back 🙈

Purposefully ate nothing else all day though. Back to being sensible today :)

sweetkitty · 08/06/2017 17:15

I'm not a morning person so I'm not having breakfast and doing an 18 hour fast only eating between 12-6pm means I get two good meals and a snack. Trying to stick to 1300 cals with at least 45 mins of exercise.
