Need to lose 2 stone (at least)

I have no idea how it's gotten this bad. I had a baby almost 7 months ago and I'm still 2 stone overweight. It's awful, I hardly have any pictures of me with my baby as I'm so disgustingly fat.
I have no time to exercise except walking with the pram so really it's just all down to eating.
I'm 5"4 and a size 12, ideally for my frame I should be a size 8/10 but would be happy to get back into my size 10 jeans.
Anyone else in a similar situation that would like to swap tips? My meal plan for tomorrow is;

Breakfast: Porridge with semi skimmed milk
Snack: Apple
Lunch: leek & potato soup
Snack: carrot sticks & hummus
Dinner: Beans on wholemeal toast with a small amount of cheese

I think that comes to around 1200 calories but sounds quite filling? I don't have time to make a better dinner as husband will be out and I also have my 2yo nephew to look after so thought that was the easiest, healthy thing to make.

Had a bad couple of days going to friends on Saturday then out for Sunday dinner for Mother's Day yesterday. Too much booze and a massive chocolate mud cake for pudding!!
Back to being good today. Got disheartened at the weekend as I hadn't lost any weight last week and I'd been good, but onwards and upwards! Although hopefully I should say onwards and downwards on the scales!!

2.5lb loss this week!! Yey!!!

7.5lb in total so I'm really pleased with that. My aim at the moment is to lose another 1.5 stone but would love to lose 2 stone as a final goal.

Haven't done much exercise this week due to stupid DH!! He took me for a walk last Friday for 5 miles and insisted I went at his speed ("hurry up - up your pace - you're not going to achieve anything unless you get your heart beat up!"). I did it but my feet were covered with blisters, if that wasn't bad enough, he decided that they needed popping with the skin cut off - Ouch!!!! Hence feet have been healing all week. At least he's trying to be supportive, he just forgets I'm nowhere as fit as he is!

Amazing batch! Well done! Sorry to hear about the blisters - sounds like agony!

As suspected, I didn't lose this week. Still 9st 10. Really disappointed but not giving up.

I think I need to decrease the portion size of my evening meal - maybe use a smaller plate or something. Tempted to eat weight watchers meals this week to boost things a bit, but they're so flipping tiny!!!

Hi everyone,

Not been on in ages, been so busy and tired 😴

Had a 7lb loss so far so going slower than I wanted. Haven't been able to do my exercise video very much, ds is going through a difficult phase and cries when he's not being held / entertained. Just glad I've not put on any! If I lost 1lb a week from now until I go on holiday it will be a 2stone loss over all - would be amazing.

I had the same problem. My metabolism was so slowed down because I didn't have time for physical activity that no diet could help me. Then I found a way to be more active: I tried to spend all the time when I am not working on feet - I answered the phone calls by walking across the house, I made myself go out with the baby for at least half an hour a day, and I started using some supplements and natural products that are helpful for my digestive tract and that are speeding up my metabolism. Also, detoxification process is more than important before you can even think about any diet. I have used Renew Life products such as First Cleanse Kit.
I am not a strict diets type od a person, so this was my way of losing weight and it was effective. If you can combine both methods, go for it.
