So it's just under 4 weeks til Christmas! 😮

Been meaning to loose a few pounds all year but instead, find that I've gained instead.

Today is the first day of me being good (again).

Hope the encouragement on here keeps me going.

It's good to share 🙂

Scarzo · 28/11/2016 11:18

millie your post a couple of days ago (sorry, just catching up), reminded me of a dream I had last week. I'd been stuffing myself with biscuits and my Mum was giving me very disapproving looks, so I lied and said I'd only had 3 or 4, when in fact I'd had about 8 Grin.

Luckily this dream did not come true and I've had a pretty good week food and exercise wise.

Weighed myself on Friday and was 65.5kg, so another kilo lost. However this morning I was up to 66kg, proving that you can't just have a bottle of wine and get away with it Wink.

wench I also weigh naked (and after a poo - sorry tmi - if I can).

Hope you all have a good week!

Foldedtshirt · 28/11/2016 11:30

Has anyone tried Yokebe? I bought some tubs on a whim as I can't diet. I get headachey and weak if I'm not constantly eating, but 10 days in and and I've completely stopped snacking and I'm feeling great on one very small meal a day and a couple of apples. Unfortunately I don't have scales to check, but I feel nicely light and my stomach has definitely shrunk.

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 28/11/2016 12:37

I didn't weigh again this morning as I'm very nervous that the 10st 8.5 from yesterday was in some sort of parallel universe and not actually accurate! Grin having discovered that the rest of you weigh naked, I am definitely doing that from now on.

5k on my exercise bike completed this morning - still not getting any quicker though but bizarrely I am almost enjoying it and actually want to get it done first thing when I get up what is happening to me?

Breakfast was 2 hard boiled eggs and cup of tea. Just stopped for lunch in Costa whilst out shopping and have had skinny latte and goats cheese panini. Not sure what dinner will be yet but I've got just over 800 cals to get me through the rest of the day so I should be ok.

CateGory8 · 28/11/2016 14:07

I didn't lose any weigh last week but I seemed to have made up for it this week. Lost a surprising 6lbs but I'm counting that as the total loss for 2 weeks. For some reason I will go weeks without losing an ounce, followed by losing a ridiculous amount. I'd also had dominoes pizza this week so think the extra calories kickstarted my loss.

CateGory8 · 28/11/2016 14:27

I also upped my water intake. I made sure that I drank at least 2ltrs of water a day.

pinkpanther6 · 28/11/2016 14:48

Can I join in? I am much heavier than most of you I was always a size 10 had twin boys in 2014 and my weight has just crept up and up and up and up. Played at losing weight a couple of times but lack motivation, this time I mean it!!
Been carb cutting and loosely following a slimming world style diet also wearing a Fitbit and trying to do insane amounts of exercise a day!
Started 31/10/16 and wanted to lose 2 stone before Christmas last Tuesday (which was weigh in day ) I was a stone down so a stone to go in 4 weeks!!
So today I have had:
Breakfast
Fat free orange and dark chocolate sprinkle yogurt ( good old Aldi it was actually quite nice)
Morning snack - banana
Lunch
4 smoked bacon medallions, cherry tomatoes, dry fried mushrooms, cucumber and half a chippolata sausage I stole off my son, pudding a small punnet of grapes.
Afternoon snack- carrot sticks
Not sure what's for dinner tonight yet

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 28/11/2016 15:13

Just saw this on Facebook Grin

Lostsoul231 · 28/11/2016 15:49

pinkpanther6 I want to lose a stone by Xmas too and joined this group today. Let's go for it! 🙂
I've had a coffee and a pink grapefruit for breakfast
Lunch was a small baked potato with a small tin of coronation tuna.
I'm starving now though and I'm not planning on having dinner til 6pm.
Not sure whether to have a snack or a coffee to tide me over
I'm not great at drinking water but know I must persevere with it
No gym today but will do some crunches and "mountain climbers" at home this evening
Feeling motivated to do this 🙂

zizza · 28/11/2016 17:15

Omg - just been told I have "silent reflux" affecting my voice - read this online:

"Restrictchocolate, mints, fats, citrus fruits, carbonated beverages, spicy or tomato-based products, red wine, and caffeine"

And no food within 3 hours pre-bedtime.

At least it'll help weight loss I suppose...

zizza · 28/11/2016 17:18

Welcome new people! 4 weeks to go - any losses is a bonus in my book!

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 28/11/2016 17:18

Hmm ... just eaten early with the dcs as we have clubs to go to this evening. I joined them in having a snack plate with crackers, cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, grapes, ham ... which would've been fine but I was unable to resist the mini pork pie and a few cocktail sausages as well Blush which means I either need to forgo my nightly hot chocolate before bed, (which I really look forward to) or else do another 5k on my bike in order to stay under my calorie allowance Hmm

MillieMoodle · 28/11/2016 17:51

Welcome to all the new people!

I had a mug size tin of tomato soup with one slice of white toast for lunch. Then a petit filous big pot for a snack and two lebkuchen. Dinner tonight is chicken stir fry which I'm just about to start. Step count is pretty low today so far as I haven't done much.

Wench well done on keeping up with the exercise bike. I've got a docs appointment tomorrow morning to see what is going on with my insides! Hopefully after that I will be able to try and start exercising again.

Bibs2014 · 28/11/2016 22:41

Lunch was a wasabi chicken noodle pot, dinner was chicken , baked potato and veg. Snacked on a handful of crisps and a couple of tiny chocs.

Lostsoul231 · 29/11/2016 09:19

So I had a salad for dinner last night at around 5.30 and by 9 I was ravenous so was naughty and ate crap!! Feeling rubbish now. Didn't even get through the first day. 😱
Back to trying again this morning! Think I need to book a holiday to give me motivation 🌞😀 x

Lostsoul231 · 29/11/2016 09:23

What would anyone recommend for an evening snack when the hunger pangs strike??

MillieMoodle · 29/11/2016 09:32

Lost if you work it out, let me know! I have been trying to have a cup of tea instead and then see if I'm still hungry about 1/2 an hour after that. More often than not, I'm not as hungry. Or if I keep busy then I don't notice that I'm hungry so much. But if I'm sitting watching TV then I really struggle to resist the biscuits!

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 29/11/2016 09:43

This is why I really like my hot chocolate before bed. I have it around 9:30pm, whom I'd previously be snacking on something at that time. It's about 140 cals (because I don't
like the "lite" version) but it fills me up enough to stop me wanting to eat. I had to sacrifice it last night as I didn't have enough cals left and I really missed it and went to bed hungry

This morning I've done my 5k on the bike .... why am I getting slower though?! First day it took me 18mins. Now it's more like 20 Confused (millie I have absolutely no idea how you managed it in 11! Are you an Olympian? Grin) anyway it adds just over 100 cals to my allowance and it must be doing me some good so I will try and keep it up even if I don't seem to be improving on time.

Breakfast was tea with porridge and banana. I've hard boiled a couple of eggs ready for either a snack or to add to my lunch later. Dinner tonight is chicken and salad wraps - though I may have it without the wraps depending on how many calories I use up before then!

Trying very hard to stay off the scales this week as I get obsessed with weighing every day.

MillieMoodle · 29/11/2016 09:51

Wench I did the 5k on the second lowest resistance thing on the bike, so it wasn't hard to pedal iyswim? Maybe you're doing it on a higher resistant? Well done for keeping on it, am hoping to re-start with mine properly in the next week or so!

AdoraBell · 29/11/2016 10:15

Finally moving in the right direction, 64.5 kilos.

Battery is about to go so I'll try to catch up latter.

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 29/11/2016 10:18

I feel even less fit now you say you do level 2. I am doing it on level one! BlushThere's no option to go any lower. When I am pedalling there is definitely resistance there though. It doesn't feel easy.

Ice3 · 29/11/2016 17:56

Welcome new people!

My psyllium husk capsules arrived today. I'm going to give them a go as I obviously am not getting enough fibre Blush

I do similar Queen but I have a Time Out wafer (111cal) at night with a cup of tea.

I have ~700 calories left for dinner and my shopping has just been delivered. So many choices.

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 29/11/2016 19:23

Evening all. Fast day for me today. Just had my dinner - mushroom and onion pie and veg. Was peckish during the day but kept going, I think the cold weather made me feel hungry today, freezing here. I have 170 cals left for some pudding, there's dark chocolate calling to me from the cupboard.

Lostsoul231 · 29/11/2016 19:26

I think I starved myself a bit yesterday and that's what led me to pigging out later in the evening. I've been more sensible today so hopefully won't crave carbs later tonight.

My home made (make it up as you go along) vegi and lentil soup for tonight's dinner was delicious with a whole meal warburtons thin 😀

Bibs2014 · 29/11/2016 20:45

Good day today!

Menu

Scrambled eggs and 2 small seeded toast. Skinny latte.

Fishfingers in a roll for lunch.

Chickpea curry and brown rice for dinner.
