Millie don't feel guilty about not doing the bike yesterday - I will be amazed if I manage it every day this week. Plus it's not just the minutes on the bike that you have to find time for - i get so sweaty, I have to shower straight after so you have to factor in that time too.

This morning I had flavoured latte and 2 slices of brown toast mid morning, just having carrot & coriander soup for lunch. Decided I can just have my chicken, avocado and salad without the tortilla wraps for tea later so that leave me enough calories for a small bar of chocolate with my cup of tea. Haven't had chocolate for what seems like forever (prob only a few days in reality but I was having it daily before this) so I am very happy to be able to "afford" some today ChocolateGrin

Ice3 · 22/11/2016 14:36

My boobs are disappearing!

I've been wearing sports bras and crop tops for a while because my bras were getting uncomfortable. I tried on my favourite bra today and it is baggy and empty Sad Bugger. I'm glad I'm losing weight and all but why can't it be from my stomach?

Bibs2014 · 22/11/2016 14:43

Amazing loss flesh

Well done to the exercisers.

Today's menu -

Cereal and skimmed

Ham and cheese bagel with onion and tomato and pineapple on the side.

Beef stew for dinner.

Notsoskinnyminny · 22/11/2016 18:57

I wish mine would Ice Grin unless I pay the ridiculous prices in pepperberry I have to go up 1-2 sizes to accommodate my F cups. Poor DD has inherited my boobs she's got a tiny 26" back but is a DD.

Bad day with food yesterday due to a school event and its getting harder and harder to resist the staffroom goodies - some 'kind' person brought shortbread in today but I'm under on my calories and DH is working away so I'll just have an omlette for tea.

I did manage 3000 steps in the pouring rain with the dog until she decided she'd had enough - if she could talk she'd have said, while lifting her paws pathetically off the wet ground, 'ffs are you enjoying this human? I was warm and comfy on your best cushions but now I've got cold feet and you've got curly hair'. She's now under the throw on the spare bed - we don't call her the diva for nothing Grin

zizza · 22/11/2016 19:38

Well, I've been for a couple of runs (did C25K ages ago and hadn't run since the GP told me to lose weight first!!) and done some Davina workouts, and am doing 2 fast days a week. Weigh ins very much depends on when you weigh after a fast day!! But another kg off this week so:

S - 12st 8
W1 - 2lbs off
W2 - 2lbs off - hurray!!!!

Have to get fit for energetic holiday end of Feb .

I'm always amazed at how different everyone's shape is. I notice it when I see articles on people who have lost weight and who weigh similar to me but say they wear size 12 clothes. I just about squeeze into 14 bottoms and 16 tops if they're stretchy! The lightest I've been post children was just over 10 stone and even then size 12 bottoms were too tight!!

FireflyGirl · 22/11/2016 19:54

Sounds like my sister's dog, Notso. He won't even go outside if it's raining, and won't lay down if the floor's cold.

Sorry I've been awol, lots of family stuff at the moment.

Well done on all the exercising everyone! I'm very impressed!

My maths skills are lacking - I have to convert purely to lb to log it and I've miscounted somewhere. Actual loss is 5lb not 6.5. But my jeans are feeling looser, and its a good loss even so, so I'm still happy.

Today I have had:
B : cinnamon bagel with Lurpak
L: out - lemon pepper mayo chicken on wholemeal with salad and 3 of DS's chips. Did not enjoy it Angry
D: bread and hummous
S: 4 daim bars and a bit of DS's spinach pastry thing.

Came in under my calories, but really Angry about lunch. Ended up leaving half of the bread roll and scraping off most of the mayo. Didn't enjoy it at all.

OP posts:
Bibs2014 · 22/11/2016 20:37

Ended up eating DS's belvitas that he didn't want, a bag of 95 cal crisps, a mullerlight and egg in a wholemeal roll - was hungry as I ate dinner too early Angry. On the plus side I'm not hungry anymore Hmm

MillieMoodle · 22/11/2016 22:10

Did 6k on the exercise bike, which took 14 mins and burned 137 calories. Which would have been great if I hadn't eaten 4 lebkuchen, 1 winter whirl and 1 iced top mince pie this afternoon. The mince pie had 219 calories Shock If I'd checked that beforehand, I wouldn't have eaten it!

No snacks for me tomorrow, it's not that long til Christmas and I really want to have lost a stone by then!

VforVienetta · 23/11/2016 01:11

Lurkery rejoining of thread....
Started at 10st11 and have managed a whole 1lb loss, so not doing spectacularly well.
I am however having more success saying no to cake, so that's something.

FireflyGirl · 23/11/2016 06:40

'Vfor' at least it's off! And resisting cake is a big achievement!

Well done on the exercise, Millie, that's great. I'll definitely make sure I check how many calories are in anything I put in my mouth for the next 31 days - hope the mince pie was at least 219 cals worth of yum!

Bibs at least now you know if you eat too early you're likely to be hungry before bed. In future, you can either eat later or plan your snack.

OP posts:
Minimammoth · 23/11/2016 06:46

Well I am back to 11-1 today, hooray! I just need to hold steady and go down, but we are going out for Indian meal tonight, so I may be back to bloating tomorrow. Trying to avoid bread and sugar, no naan then or pasanda.

MillieMoodle · 23/11/2016 07:15

Firefly sadly, as mince pies go, it wasn't that great. I'm annoyed with myself because I only ate it because it was there. Ah well, today is a new day. I'm still 11st 9lbs but hopeful I can get to 11st 8lbs or 7lbs by Sunday. I will be checking the calories of everything from now til Christmas! (My phone is out to get me though; it just autocorrected "calories" to "cake pies" Grin).

Breakfast today will be actimel, tea and cornflakes. Lunch will be lentil soup. Not sure about dinner yet!

How's it going Wench?

Lapinlapin · 23/11/2016 07:16

Well done everyone on the weight loss and exercise. You're inspiring me to keep going. I think I might have given up before now if it wasn't for this thread. When I feel like snacking I often have a read of this thread to shame myself into eating better!

Anyway I've lost another 2lb this week so quite pleased with that. I'm now 11st8, so a total loss of 5lb so far. Another 2lb and I'll be back in the 'healthy weight' category, so that's my next goal.

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 23/11/2016 07:25

Glad everyone is doing well. I tried a fast day yesterday - it was alright, I was hungry but I suppose that's the point. Had a lovely omelette for breakfast today with avocado and a slice of toast. Going to keep plugging away at drinking water and mint tea and then try another fast day tomorrow. I need to do a big food shop and get planning menus - I seem to stick at it better when I know what's coming up next! I'd love to drop another half stone before xmas, and then I want to keep losing into next year if poss. We'll get there!

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 23/11/2016 08:11

5k on my exercise bike this morning - I'm not getting any faster but it's definitely getting easier. I did the whole 5k today without having to stop (albeit at a slightly slower pace) and my legs didn't feel like they were going to fall off at the end of it so I must be improving.

So far today I've just had tea and a banana. Going to wait until after the school run for some eggs or something.

I've had a sneaky peek on the scales and it's definitely getting lower - I'll wait until Sunday to post my official weekly weigh in though.

Well done on the 6k millie! I nearly made the same mistake with a mince pie and almost ate one just because it was there but luckily I noticed the calories printed on the front of the box first. I couldn't believe how many it was so left it where it was!

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 23/11/2016 09:38

Morning all, great to see more losses posted and well done on the exercise bikes millie and wench. Had cheesy scrambled eggs for breakfast, may have a tuna and tomato wrap for lunch, not sure about dinner, I might have a look for inspiration in one of the Hairy Bikers diet cookbooks - I've a hankering for a curry.

Lostmyunicorn · 23/11/2016 09:43

I have had a really stressful couple of weeks at work and have not been strict at all. I've tried not to go mad but I've had more wine than I meant to and not been really organised about meal planning etc. But I weigh 65.2 this morning so I've lost a tiny bit, and more to the point I haven't gained anything. This week is still hectic but from next week I'm back in super strict mode.

MillieMoodle · 23/11/2016 16:05

Had half a tin of lentil soup with one piece of white toast for lunch, followed by a banana and a peanut butter Christmas tree. They are divine! (But 170 calories Blush).

Still got about 800 calories left for dinner though!

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 23/11/2016 17:14

I had tuna and salad for lunch, flavoured latte and a small bag of (fake) quavers. Dinner is home made pizza using a tortilla wrap as the base and homemade potato wedges. Should come in under my allowance again today.

Is anyone else worried that all this hard work will be too easily undone when all the lovely Christmas food is around? Confused

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 23/11/2016 17:55

Wench all my Christmas treats, well the chocolate and snacks are in the loft so that removes temptation for me. They won't be coming down until Chistmas Eve, I've got 3 Christmas do's but they are nicely spread at one per week so hopefully won't do too much damage. Over Christmas itself I'm hoping that my weight loss will make me think before I binge. We can keep the thread going into the Spring to help repair the damage!

Notsoskinnyminny · 23/11/2016 18:56

Lok mine were in the back of my car but DH was working away yesterday so I was able to hide them in DDs room - he's not brave enough to venture in there but even if he was he'd never see the bags on the floordrobe Grin

Wench I keep telling myself its only 10 days and I'll restart when I go back to work on the 4th Jan. We're away for new year and I'm hoping the walking will cancel out some of the peroni and Wine although we're out tomorrow night and I stupidly googled the nutrition of meals served and the pudding I've opted for has 857 calories Shock I'm tempted to take a tuperware box and bring it some home for DS but I don't think DH will be impressed. I could have a salad with my main to save some calories but then again there's sweet potato fries - dilemma, dilemma Grin

All I do know is I'm weighing in tomorrow unless the bingefest brings about a big whoosh and then I'll post that weight next week!

Had spag bol with broccoli for dinner and have managed not to have any more snacks.

Haven't got any Christmas do this year as am on mat leave so that will help! DS1 is getting a bike for Christmas so hopefully we will take him out on it lots; we live near a forest but hardly ever go, so I am planning lots of long walks between Christmas and new year so DS can practice on his bike and we can walk off the mince pies!

FireflyGirl · 23/11/2016 22:33

Wench I'm hoping that I will have learned some different ways of eating to stop myself pigging out over Christmas, but I also plan to be very strict about what days I have 'off'. This should limit the damage! Plus the Christmas food is in the garage until 23rd December and DH has dumped stuff in front of it so I'd have to fight to get to it.

How was your pizza on a tortilla? I've never tried that, but like my base as thin as possible, so might give it a go.

Millie - at least it was 170 calories well spent! Grin

Well done on the losses unicorn, lapin and mammoth.

Did you have your Hairy curry, Loki?

I like to meal plan as well, TimeForTea. I find it helps keep me on track, even if I don't stick to it 100% - I'm not faffing around at 4pm trying to think of something to make!

I'm definitely up for keeping this thread going after Christmas. I want to lose at least another 2 stone, which will take me at least until the middle of next year!

So today I have had:
B : gammon (did it in the slow cooker overnight, and it jumped into my mouth whilst I was slicing it first thing...)
L : Chicken salad with feta cheese, oatcakes and hummous
T: turkey meatballs in tomato and basil sauce with a small portion of pasta and lots of broccoli/green beans, followed by an apple.

Didn't have any snacks today. I'd been falling back into bad habits with snacking, so am cutting it out completely again.

OP posts:
GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 24/11/2016 06:26

Firefly i always use tortilla wraps for a pizza. I like the base to be as thin as possible too so i really like it. It is always a bit "floppy", especially if you put lots of topping on but it tastes good.

So today is a work day for me - i've cycled to work and will be cycling home again, which is just over 2.5k in each direction so i'll still be doing my 5k but in two bursts instead of one go on the exercise bike. Also my work trousers definitely feel a bit less snug than usual which i am very happy about Smile

Food today is banana and cup of tea when i got to work, i've got some seeded bread to have toasted when its a more reasonable hour, lunch is small jacket potato with prawn mayo and salad. Dinner tonight is cod fillet with lots of veg. With a latte, a healthy snack and my bedtime hot choc, i should still come in under my allowance.

How is everyone else doing? Millie am i supposed to get notifications or anything from your MFP? It doesn't seem to tell me anything about how you are doing so i'm not if that's how it's meant to be or if i've not set it up properly Confused
