7 weeks today will be Easter Sunday Shock I need to do just under 2lb a week to get this other stone off by then. That's doable, right? Hmm

MillieMoodle · 26/02/2017 10:27

Aargh only 7 weeks Wench?! Right, well I managed to lose 1/2 a stone in 5 weeks when I was properly being good, so I can lose another 1/2 a stone by then, right? The challenge is on! We can definitely do this!

I think I will actually have to get the exercise bike out instead of making excuses though. I'm still far too wobbly.

Wenchelda · 26/02/2017 11:06

I neee to get properly back in the bike habit too millie. I'm a stone lighter than when we started and my clothes feel looser but I don't think I really look any different and could definitely do with toning up.

I'm just so exhausted all the time. I don't sleep well and have recently read that anxiety (which I have Sad) can make you feel drained too so no wonder I feel permanently shattered. However i did feel better when I was doing the bike daily so I think I just need to force myself to do it and stop making excuses. Same with the bad eating choices. Hmm

MillieMoodle · 26/02/2017 11:49

Let's gets back on it properly then Wench. I've just looked in the mirror at my enormous stomach and just feel miserable. I find my mood is better when I've done exercise and I have more energy too. I've weighed in this morning and am up to 11st 9lbs, so 2 lbs up Sad its my own fault though. I felt so much happier when the weight started to come off.

You have done so well losing a stone so far!

I need to stop eating so much junk and starting moving more. It worked for me when I allowed myself one treat a day. I think it also works better for me if I keep myself busy in the day. If I just sit with DS2 and watch tv, I get bored and eat. If I'm out and about or busy round the house then I don't really notice whether I'm hungry or not.

happypoobum · 26/02/2017 13:50

I haven't weighed myself either this week. I am a pitiful sad failure Sad

I am off to Italy next week for work so there is fuck all chance of me coming back without additional poundage. I am thinking maybe I should pack some cereal bars and have them instead of pottering down for the lovely cooked breakfast every morning, but then what if there's no tea making facilities in the room? I cannot function without tea!

Big Sigh! I will have to do a major effort when I get back................

Notsoskinnyminny · 26/02/2017 16:43

Right ladies, lets give ourselves a collective kick up the bum and start anew tomorrow (too much cake left for me to start today and we won't mention the prawn crackers i finished off whilst ironing Blush)

poobum you can't not have your breakfast - that's part of the fun of staying in a hotel and you'll probably end up eating more if you just have cereal bars, just stay away from the custardy croissants and delicious rolls. Besides the bacon's always shite and we won't discuss what passes for sausages in Italy. Our hotel in Venice surpassed itself - what we thought were fried potatoes turned out to be spicy chicken nuggets - they didn't go with scrambled eggs Grin Oh and well jealous of you going on a jolly to Italy Grin

Ice3 · 26/02/2017 17:28

I have lost a grand total of 0.2lbs, so nothing, which is what I expected Grin I do think the weather hasn't helped. It all jut feels a bit miserable.

Hope you have a good time happy!

happypoobum · 26/02/2017 18:01

Thanks ladies - I will try to stay away from the sweet stuff. Will check in next weekend even if I have gained and get back on it.

MillieMoodle · 26/02/2017 19:14

Notso - agreed. Kicks up the bum all round and renewed enthusiasm for tomorrow!

Happy - have a fab time in Italy. I hope the weather is better than here!

Ice - I agree the weather has been awful. I have wanted to hibernate for the last two weeks with lots and lots of chocolate and other junk.

Haven't been too bad today. Actimel, tea and 2 X white toast with Nutella for breakfast. Lunch was 2 X white toast with baked beans. Dinner will be steak pie, chips and broccoli. No snacks so far. I had a pain au chocolate which I was saving for this evening but DH has eaten it Angry I am very angry with him about it. But actually he's probably done me a favour, although I won't be telling him that!

Notsoskinnyminny · 26/02/2017 22:56

Millie don't you hate it when they do that - all my hiding places have been found and DH sulks when I have a go when he's had the last of something.

MillieMoodle · 27/02/2017 09:37

Notso I once hid a snickers in a mug, in a cupboard I knew DH wouldn't go in. I was out with friends and he was home. I got a text with a photo of my snickers in the mug. FFS! Tbf that time he did ask if he was allowed it though. And I said yes because I'm a nice wife.

Actimel, tea and cornflakes for breakfast here. Have got swimming with DS2 this morning so will hopefully burn a few calories doing that. Am back down to 11st 8lbs this morning.

Flashinthepan · 27/02/2017 11:30

Hello. Could I join. I'd like to lose a stone by Easter (realise I'm leaving it a bit late!) I'm currently 10 st 6.

I'm hoping that checking in will help keep me on track/stop me from snacking etc!

MillieMoodle · 27/02/2017 18:33

Welcome flash! I need help to stop snacking too.

I was doing really well today until DH came home and then unfortunately I had 6 custard creams and a creme egg. Wtf is wrong with me?!

Wenchelda · 27/02/2017 20:39

I've done ok today - just about within my allowance despite a ridiculously calorific but delicious minted lamb pasty at lunchtime. Haven't managed the exercise bike but No food snacks all day though.

B - tea; 2 hard boiled eggs and tomato.
S - flavoured latte
L - tea; minted lamb pasty
D - 2 sausages, mashed potato, carrots, broccoli
S - hot choc at bedtime.

Bibs2014 · 27/02/2017 21:06

Shit have we only got 7 weeks till Easter! Shock

SmellTheGlove · 28/02/2017 07:13

Official weigh in today 11.11 which is one pound on. It was 2 pounds on yesterday but managed to stay under my cals and a hour and a half walking so at least one of the nasty little buggers has gone. Annoyed though as I thought I'd been quite good this week but maybe not. Indeed bibs 7 weeks til easter and 6 and a half til I go to NY! I'm aiming for 11.8 by then, any more is unrealistic for me. So not a stone by easter but 10 pounds (maybe). millie creme eggs are unavoidable at this time of the year, just accept the inevitable.. (I've had pretty much one every day since they were in the shops Blush)

Wenchelda · 28/02/2017 12:53

Not a great start to the day as DS insisted I made pancakes for breakfast and of course I had to partake in too many a few. Had a hard boiled egg mid morning as I'm not eating lunch til about 2 today and am meeting a friend so will try and choose the healthiest thing on the menu!

Bibs2014 · 28/02/2017 21:24

Good day today!

Cereal,semi skimmed milk
Chicken, rice, salad
Pancakes for dinner
Fruit and a bag of choc fingers

Anyone fancy doing DECHOX? Giving up chocolate for March?

MillieMoodle · 01/03/2017 07:17

Gave in to the custard creams and a creme egg again yesterday. Aargh. Had actimel, tea and cornflakes for breakfast. Crackerbread, cherry tomatoes and salmon pate for lunch. Pancakes for dinner. Too many pancakes. Am back down to 11st 7lbs today though, so the real weight loss starts from now.

Yes Bibs I'll do a dechox! Will give up chocolate for Lent and see if it helps with the weight loss. Must remember not to increase biscuit intake as a result though.

Bibs2014 · 01/03/2017 08:26

I'm giving up chocolate from today! Join me!

Flashinthepan · 01/03/2017 08:57

I will join you Bibs! I'm going to give up sweet snacks, so biscuits, chocolate, sweets, cake etc. I am making an exception on Friday though, as it is my brother's wedding!

Bibs2014 · 01/03/2017 11:09

We can do it!

I have also joined the 10-a-day challenge on here which is to eat 10 portions of fruit and veg a day!

Menu so far:

Cereal and ss milk. Apple. Small pot of mixed fruit.

Flashinthepan · 01/03/2017 11:31

Today's food is: branflakes with skimmed milk and sultanas; grapes; cheese and pickle sandwich on whole grain homemade bread; carrot sticks with homemade kale pesto; bacon, leek and mushroom pasta (cereal bowl size not plateful).

Does that sound like too much food?

Oh bibs I love fruit and veg! I will try it too.

Flashinthepan · 01/03/2017 11:34

Oh and will be doing 2 mile run and Jillian 30 day shred or ripped in 30.

Lapinlapin · 01/03/2017 12:01

Well, I've also given up sweet stuff as from today. Decided I'd better add crisps to the forbidden list or I might end up replacing the sweet snacks with savoury ones and be just as unhealthy.

Feeling positive, but hungry!

Am also going to make sure I got my 12,000 steps every day and am considering entering a 10k in a couple of months' time.

We can do it!
