She's been, she's been, the whoosh fairy's been I was up to 9st 6.5 on Monday Xmas Sad after bingeing on shortbread and roses and wine but this morning I was 9st 3.25 - my lowest weight in over 6 years Xmas Grin

Happy birthday ice hope you have a lovely day Flowers

wench I remember those nights with DS - I spent 4 years in a sleep-deprived fog. Not sure how DD was conceived because we were too knackered to do anything Blush

Off to build the ikea gingerbread house ready for the kids to fight over who's having the front decorate tonight- the one tradition that's survived childhood Xmas Grin

MillieMoodle · 22/12/2016 14:45

Firefly I've felt rubbish too and I think it's because of all the rubbish I've been eating. It definitely makes me feel more sluggish.

Wench you're nuts being on an exercise bike in the middle of the night! But well done!

Ice happy birthday! Hope you have a lovely day.

Bibs I popped into the office this morning with the DSs and there were chocolates everywhere. I had a few Blush

Smell I am hoping to stay at 11st 7lbs now until the other side of the new year!

Notso well done on the loss! If you could kindly send the whoosh fairy my way, I'd be most grateful!

Had actimel, tea and 3 mini scotch pancakes for breakfast. A few chocolates in the office. Lunch was pork pie and brown bread and butter. Dinner will be bacon, eggs, sausages, beans. Must resist the chocolates this afternoon!

Bibs2014 · 22/12/2016 16:39

Can you send the whoosh fairy to me after you millie?!?!?!?

zizza · 22/12/2016 20:36

Oh dear, I've been absent due to stalling. But not putting weight back on so that's good. Had a mole removed from my back a couple of weeks ago and wound's a bit infected, so serious exercise had gone out of the window and Christmas events started. So everything's on hold for now and I'll be back with it in a week or so. Glad to be half a stone slimmer than in November though :-)

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 22/12/2016 21:36

Urgh food today has been pretty terrible but by some miracle I am under my cals (but hungry)

B - banana and tea
L - steak and cheese baguette from greggs (yummy but over 500 cals!), flavoured coffee
D - carrot and coriander soup
S - hot choc, handful of grapes.

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 22/12/2016 21:38

Oh I forgot the worst of it !! Late afternoon snack of 5 Bourbon biscuits and a spoonful of Nutella straight from the jar!!! BlushBlushBlushBlush (which is the reason I only had soup for dinner!!)

FireflyGirl · 23/12/2016 07:57

Happy birthday for yesterday, Ice. Hope you had a lovely day Flowers

Turns out it wasn't the food making me feel ill... had d&v for the last 2 days, but with nausea instead of actual vomiting. So surviving on toast and salted crisps...

DS was up every hour last night until 1, then woke at 5.30. But DH couldn't get up with him because he was running a bit of a temperature Hmm I shouldn't be upset with him: as well as looking after me he did loads of housework yesterday including cleaning the bathroom badly, I was close enough to tell!. But I am. So there.

I'm going to mostly sign off until after Christmas now. Good luck ladies, see you all on the other side - along with my willpower, hopefully Xmas Grin

0.4kg on for me so I'm 69.1kg. Had a horrendous week and not been counting my calories. I'm very pleased to have lost this much before Christmas though. Well done to those who have lost again this week. FIrefly hope you are feeling a bit better, now.
I shall weigh in again on the day after Boxing Day as I will be back on the straight and narrow then.
I hope you and your families have a lovely Christmas and I'll see you all on the other side!

Bibs2014 · 23/12/2016 13:31

I don't think I can realistically get back on my diet till 30 Dec as we have Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, going to MIL's on Boxing day, OH's bday on 27th and staying at MIL's till 29th, driving back at lunchtime but dropping in on a friend en route and not back at home till the evening!

I'm just going to try and be good where I can! Today I've had a cereal bar and a latte for breakfast, lunch was Butternut squash soup and a brown roll, snacked on fruit, a handful of Pringles and a couple of Quality Street. Going for a late lunch/early dinner with my team for tapas and wine!

Looking forward to no chocs and crisps in the new year! I'm awful if there's food around I will eat it!

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 23/12/2016 14:37

Felt exhausted this morning and couldn't motivate onto my exercise bike so that's not going to happen today. Caved in and did a sneaky weigh too ... 10st 3.5lbs, so three quarters of a lb less than last weigh in and 11lbs less than my starting weight SmileSmile (why don't o look any slimmer though?!)

Food today...
B - tea and banana
S - small absolutely tiny bag of popcorn
L - 2 slices seeded bread with soup, grapes & a tangerine
S - half a piece of caramel shortbread

Have also spent 4hrs walking round the forest with the dcs, so that must make up for not cycling this morning, mustn't it?

Not sure what tea will be yet. Going to do final weigh in tomorrow morning and then forget calorie counting and enjoy Christmas!

MillieMoodle · 23/12/2016 22:35

Well done Wench that's a fab loss! I'm still hanging in there at 11st 7lbs, which is half a stone off. I'm pretty pleased with that considering DS2 is only 14 weeks old! Had my ultrasound scan today and I don't have any retained placenta so can start exercising etc from now the new year, provided my blood tests come back ok (they think I might be anaemic).

Am relaxing the "diet" a bit until New Year's Day, but still being careful not to pig out too much! I have found my appetite has decreased a bit as I've got used to eating less. Will still pop in between now and the new year but I don't expect to lose any weight! Will be back on it for real in the new year, I want to shift another 8lbs fairly quickly!

Hope everyone has a fab Christmas and a healthy and happy new year. Wine Xmas Grin

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 23/12/2016 22:53

Ate far too much party buffet food at friends house this evening so probably won't weigh again tomorrow morning.

Merry Christmas everyone! See you on the other side Xmas Smile

Notsoskinnyminny · 24/12/2016 16:35

Merry Christmas ladies hope you all have a lovely time and remember not to feel guilty for eating 'the wrong things'. I've made a steak pie for tonight and a huge nutella cheesecake for tomorrow and I'm not even going to think about the calories in either Xmas Grin

Adult DSCs have just told DH, an hour ago, they're coming on the 28th - they were coming tomorrow (arranged in November), so we've now got way too much meat for tomorrow and I'll have to buy more as he wants to have xmas dinner with them Xmas Angry Trying desperately not to row with him because I can see how upset he is but the next day's my birthday and then we go to Venice so I'd planned to hit the sales with DD on Wednesday and she's given her shift away. Oh well, what's Christmas without a family drama!

See you all next year, fingers crossed the damage won't be too bad but at least I'm 11lbs lighter than I was in October thanks to you keeping me on track Xmas Smile

wejammin · 25/12/2016 11:25

I've been AWOL for a while but just popping back to proudly announce my weigh in this morning was 8st 11, from my original starting point of 9st 7. Not a stone but not bad.

Merry Christmas all. Am now off to feast with vigour.

FireflyGirl · 25/12/2016 11:58

Merry Christmas all. DS (21 months) woke up at 4, didn't go back to sleep until 7.30, then slept til 10.30. He's opened a grand total of 4 presents, one of which was clothes after he had a nappy explosion. DH is still in bed after spending all night running back and forth to the loo. The day is half over and I've had a bagel with cream cheese, 4 mini Daim bars and half a glass of sugar-free lemonade as DS spilled the other half. At this rate, I might even lose weight over Christmas Xmas Shock.

I have to laugh or else I'll cry. Merry Christmas everyone WineCakeXmas BiscuitXmas Biscuit

Oh no firefly! I hope the day gets better for you all.

I've had cheese and bacon croissants for breakfast - after weeks of low cal healthy breakfasts it was delicious!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Scarzo · 25/12/2016 18:05

Sorry not checked in sooner, have had a hectic couple of weeks travelling back to UK to visit family.

So a very happy Christmas to you all!

Thank you for this brilliant thread, it has helped me so much. Happy to report that my last weigh in was 63.4. So close to my goal!

Enjoy all the festivities, and I hope to check in with some of you when you emerge from your food comas 😉.

Cheers! 🍾

MillieMoodle · 25/12/2016 18:35

Merry Christmas all!

Firefly I hope the day has got better for you?

I haven't pigged out too much (yet). Pork pie and one slice of white bread and butter for breakfast, actimel and tea. A couple of chocolates mid-morning. A few nibbles before lunch. Lunch was prawn cocktail, roast turkey and trimmings, Christmas pudding and rum sauce. Also had a couple of glasses of schloer. No alcohol as I was driving (we had lunch at my parents). Waiting to put DS1 to bed and then planning to hit the wine, cheese and biscuits!

Ice3 · 25/12/2016 18:40

Eurgh. I ate/drank nearly 4000 calories on my birthday (thanks for the well wishes!) I got back on it straight afterwards and wasn't planning on eating a lot today as DH is visiting his family for xmas but I seem to have got through two bottles of wine on my own so far Blush I'm going to make a pizza later since today is a write off. Holidays make me so weak willed. "Oh it's Christmas why bother" "oh Boxing Day" I suppose that's how I got so fat! Someone kick me up the bum tomorrow please.

Congratulations Scarzo

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas!

Bibs2014 · 25/12/2016 20:00

Merry Christmas everyone!

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 27/12/2016 08:36

Morning all :-)

Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed some guilt free yummy food. I definitely have!

Back on my exercise bike this morning though as the last 3 days of no exercise and over indulgence have left me feeling a bit sluggish. DH bought me a Fitbit for Xmas too so that is going to be really good on motivating me to get my step count up.

Checked my weight this morning and I'm not sure I believe it as it only shows me at half a lb heavier than on the 23rd. I'm sure the amount I've rated should equate to more than that but I'm very happy is it is true! Going to start logging on MFP again today but will just aim to stick to my maintenance calories rather than my "losing weight" allowance.

Is anyone else still here or not returning until after new year?

FireflyGirl · 27/12/2016 12:24

Well done on your loss, Wench!

I'm still around, but not currently weighing or logging due to the copious amounts of chocolate I am consuming...

Christmas has fallen a bit flat this year thanks to the norovirus. DH ended up spending all of Christmas day, apart from an hour, in bed. DS and I went to DMIL for Christmas dinner as planned but only stayed a couple of hours then home to bed. We cancelled the Boxing Day buffet at ours for fear of anyone catching it from here - I've bleached everything, but you can't be too careful. So I have a freezer full of party food we haven't eaten, and a large shop coming tonight ordered on the basis we'd have eaten everything yesterday... there is a lot of food in my house...

I'm exhausted as DS hasn't been sleeping well while he's been poorly and I haven't recovered from the virus myself yet, but have been doing 90% of the running around after DS/housework for the last 4 days while DH was in the throes. DH is devastated he's 'ruined Christmas', but I just think it's quite funny. Luckily DS is only 21 months, so he has had no idea what's going on, otherwise I would feel differently.

DH is feeling perkier today, so has taken DS out for the day with DMIL, and I had plans to go to the gym, but I went back to bed and am still there Xmas Blush

As soon as we get back from visiting family next Tuesday I will be right back on it!

MillieMoodle · 27/12/2016 14:52

Well done Wench! Firefly, hope you are feeling better soon. It's just as important to rest so that you recover properly.

I've not been logging food or drink for the last few days. I will be back on it on 1st Jan though. I'm still trying to be mindful-ish of what I'm eating and try not to pig out too much. I can't resist the Belgian biscuits though. Fortunately we only have a small tin, which is nearly finished!

happychristmasbum · 28/12/2016 13:22

Sorry you were poorly Firefly but I hope you are all better now.

I also seem to have a fridge bursting with yummy food that nobody has eaten and I will have to force myself not to eat it but to throw it away as it's all going out of date, which I will find very difficult.I was 11:11 on 21 Dec and am now 12:0

GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Oh well, at least I didn't go over! Back on MFP today, still want to be 11 stone by Feb half term.

lokisglowstickofdestiny1 · 28/12/2016 13:37

Hi everyone, I hope all are better in your house firefly?
Well done for getting back on the bike wench.
I'm not getting on the scales until 1st Jan but shall start logging the calories again from tomorrow.
