queen I managed to zip up a pair of work trousers I haven't been able to wear for quite a while and it made me so happy Smile

Work Christmas do last night in gastropub type place. I had a posh burger and chips with salad and didn't eat the top part of the bun. Loads of booze though Xmas Sad so will be waaaaay over calories.

Also hard not to eat crap today when I feel a bit hungover. Think I will have some Heinz Mushroom Soup for lunch as that usually settles any illness.

Keep going peeps!!!

Bibs2014 · 16/12/2016 13:41

Chicken salad for lunch with rice, lentils, cabbage, green beans, jalepenos YUMYUM YUM! Finished with a mini mince pie :D

MillieMoodle · 16/12/2016 21:15

Actimel, cornflakes and tea for breakfast. Forgot about lunch as had a catch up with some of the girls from work who had babies at the same time as me (there was 6 of us!). 2 lebkuchen and some cheese as a snack. Pork chops, chips, cauliflower cheese and broccoli for dinner with a glass of red wine. Should be under my allowance and have walked quite a lot too.

lokisglowstickofdestiny1 · 16/12/2016 21:40

Hi, I've had to rejoin Mumsnet so have added a 1 to my user name but it's me lokisglowstickofdestiny! I am stuffed but that's the last big meal until Christmas. Shall be very careful over weekend.
Good to hear that we are all still going!

Notsoskinnyminny · 17/12/2016 12:25

Well unless I lose something today I'll stay the same this week but I've been nibbling chocolates all week and we won't even discuss yesterday's piggyness Xmas Grin I've been a bit more mindful today and decided I didn't need to waste 104 calories on a mini mince pie but there's so many nice biscuits in the cupboard that are calling me - they're my downfall, especially shortbread but I managed to get into a pair of size 10 jeans that were too small when I bought them 4 years ago and there was no muffin top so I need to find the balance between total abstinence and unstoppable gluttony - dead easy to say but the practice is going to be much harder!

lokisglowstickofdestiny1 · 17/12/2016 12:31

Notso, excellent news on the jeans front. I'm not quite into the next size down yet but my current size 14's are loose around the waist so I reckon another couple of kgs will do it.
Just had a prawn sandwich and some crisps for lunch. No breakfast, wasn't hungry when I got up.

FireflyGirl · 17/12/2016 13:20

Afternoon all, sorry for dropping off a bit. We've had a hard week sleep-wise, plus the oven is still not working, which has translated to lots of crisps Xmas Sad Think I've managed to stay the same, and that's my plan for the next 10 days. If I can start the New Year at this weight, I'll be happy with that. And as someone said on the last page, I'll still be starting 10lb lighter than I was 7 weeks ago which is not to be knocked.

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 17/12/2016 14:53

Started the day well with a 15minute cycle to work and then tea and a banana at 6am. Had 2 boiled eggs, 4 baby plum tomatoes and some leftover gammon at 9ish. Of course there chocolate and biscuits everywhere at work so I had 3 roses chocolates and one Cadburys chocolate biscuit which really was an unnecessary waste of 220 calories Blush lunch was soup with one slice of seeded bread. MIL kindly sent a blueberry muffin home for me with the dcs after their visit which I couldn't resist so basically I am left with 155 calories for dinner. Help!

lokisglowstickofdestiny1 · 17/12/2016 16:15

Wench how about a huge salad and half tin of tuna with some low cal dressing?

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 17/12/2016 17:04

Might just have to be the salad on its own without the tuna or dressing as I realised I miscalculated and only have 45 cals left ShockConfused

Has anyone seen my willpower? I appear to have lost it Blush

Ice3 · 17/12/2016 17:26

Mine has wandered of with yours Wench

A KFC has opened 15 minutes away. I don't think the half an hour walk is going to burn off what I just ate Blush

It's definitely getting harder. Hopefully when Christmas is out the way we will have more motivation and as firefly said, we are all in a far better place than we were not long ago.

happychristmasbum · 17/12/2016 17:27

wench are you home tonight? I would have the tuna (or similar) and salad, and then dance like a maniac through all the adverts on tv, or dance around the house instead of walking. You should burn off enough calories to make up for it, plus it's fun!!

I don't think I will have lost this week. I drank a lot on Thursday and on top of those calories are all the chocolate calories from Friday as I battled my hangover.

Bibs2014 · 17/12/2016 20:25

Last night I sent DH to buy me a chicken shish kebab, no chips. Cupboard is bare as we are at mil for the weekend. He comes back with chicken doner and chips - argh. I ate cause I was hungry but had awful heartburn all night which has really put me off eating badly.

Today I've had cereal in the morning. At the services on drive down DH had Burger King - I had M&S salad and a fruit salad.

Then arrived at mil and had a few mini sausage rolls and a handful of crisps. Dinner was a pork roast dinner.

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 17/12/2016 20:57

Had a very unexciting ham salad for tea. Bleurgh. Going to sacrifice my usual bedtime hot choc and just have some decaf tea instead which means I'll just be 40 cals over for the day. I'm hungry though. And there's posh cheese and crackers in the fridge. Must resist! Not expecting any loss at tomorrow's weigh in.

GoodQueenWenchEatsLess · 18/12/2016 08:04

A measly 3/4 of a pound lost this week. 10st 5lb last Saturday and 10st 4 and a quarter lbs today. Gutted to have really slowed down but realistically it was to be expected and I should be grateful I lost anything at all as since last weigh in, I've been out for an Indian meal, had dh's birthday with all the associated party food & cake, and had chocolates/biscuits given to us by customers at work. This coming week will be even harder so just got to try and maintain I think and get back to it properly after Christmas!

On my exercise bike for 5k now (struggling) then afterwards I'm going to have eggs, grilled bacon and mushrooms for breakfast. Not sure about lunch or dinner yet but we are home all day so hopefully can keep on track.

Good luck everyone else weighing in today!

Bibs2014 · 18/12/2016 08:49

That's great wench that you stuck with it - well done!

lokisglowstickofdestiny1 · 18/12/2016 10:33

A whole 0.1kg off this week, so now 68.7kg. To be honest I'm just pleased I didn't put any on.
Had eggs and bacon for breakfast so will skip lunch as feeling stuffed now.
Well done wench a loss is a loss!
Next Sunday is Christmas Day - I have no intention of weighing myself then so I will post my last pre Christmas weight on Friday. I can say though that I am pleased to be a fair few pounds down before Christmas it gives a real boost for the New Year.
Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

SmellTheGlove · 18/12/2016 10:58

I've been feeling so grotty that I haven't been walking as much - hardly at all in fact. So even though I have been close to my calorie allowance I'm not losing because without the walking it just doesn't happen. Off for a long walk today though (with DS on his bike so we can go further) so hopefully that will kick start a bit of a loss..well done everyone who is managing to lose!

happychristmasbum · 18/12/2016 12:47

Good luck smell and well done wench that is amazing that you still lost.

I have lost another pound which is quite the achievement bearing in mind the thousands of calories I consumed in alcohol on Thursday night at works do.

I have two more nights out next week, and a big lunch planned for Christmas Eve so I will try to be really good the rest of the time and hope it evens out enough that I don't put loads on.

Well done everyone. I am so glad I stuck with you all this time - I have form for giving up and you really have helped me stay on track.

Notsoskinnyminny · 18/12/2016 13:21

As predicted I've stayed the same but chuffed to be nearly 10lbs down and almost a stone since the start of term in September. I've got a couple of lunches planned this week and the shortbreads have been opened so if I can maintain this week I'll be happy. We're away for new year so I'm going to have my last weigh in on Friday and then I'm avoiding the scales until 4th Jan when I go back to work. Sorry in advance if I break MFP by adding what I eat and drink - I'm going to guess 5000 calories for the 8 course tasting menu we're having on NYE as it comes with unlimited Wine and we got through 4 bottles last time on top of the prosecco on arrival and champagne at midnight Xmas Grin

Ice3 · 18/12/2016 13:22

Start: 172
Week one: 168.6
Week two: 167.0
Week three: No scales
Week four: 162.4
Week five: 159.6
Week six: 159.6
Week seven: 157.0

I made a stone just in time. I am hoping to maintain or at least not be more than 160 after Christmas. Then back on it for the next two!

SmellTheGlove · 18/12/2016 15:26

ice that is truly impressive. Well done you.

Bibs2014 · 18/12/2016 15:28

Wow ice amazing stats! Are you doing 5:2?

Ice3 · 18/12/2016 15:42

Thanks Smile

I'm not Bibs I've slowly drifted into 20:4 (or 19:5) though. I found that if I ate too many calories in the daytime I would go over my allowance or be hungry and thinking about food constantly so I eat most/all of my food in the evening now.

triangularchocolate · 18/12/2016 23:34

I've been dipping in and out of these threads but not posted before - well done everyone for the losses- its probably the hardest time of the year to behave! I am getting married in March and am running out of time to lose 2 stone so hope you don't mind me joining you in the new year. Until then damage limitation is in progress Confused
