I've done it!!!
Can't quite believe it but weighed in a day early as won't be at home tomorrow morning, and I am a stone down from start of November when we began.
Starting weight 12:13
Week 6 11:13
So after plateauing (sp?) for three weeks stuck around 12:4/5 I have finally managed to shift 5lbs in a week. I guess I will never know whether those extra pounds were lost due to reducing cals to 1000 or due to what shall henceforth be known as the "Senna related incident" but I am so happy
Thank you so much to everyone on this thread for sharing and encouraging each other. Previously I have plateaued and given up, but this time I kept going and that is all due to you.
If it's OK I will stay with the thread as I feel there is particular danger over Christmas of putting the whole stone and more back on over the holidays. Also, ideally I would like to lose another stone by Feb half term. The top end of BMI normal weight for me is 10 stone 9 which is my ultimate aim. Being in my fifties, I don't look too great of I lose too much weight from my face, so being at the top BMI range would be fine I think.
firefly you need to get rid of that pizza. Is there anyone convenient you can give it to for Breakfast? dog?
queen I often have a tandoori chicken dish that comes all sizzling and impressive on a skillet along with a salad. No rice. It sounds boring but it's really yummy and filling, and because it makes such a dramatic entrance it makes you feel like you are eating something special.I have just checked and it's called Tikka Chicken Tandoori in my local.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. I am off out for my first Christmas lunch today with an old friend. Will drive so can't drink (saves at least half the cals!) and will have soup to start but won't touch the roll, will eat all my turkey (won't touch yorkie if there is one) and just a couple of spoons of pud. Won't eat anything else all day.
