I'm at my heaviest ever-5'4" and 15 stone so I need to lose 4/5 stone. I've lost a couple of stone many times then get bored and put it all back on again but this time I'm determined and am going to take one day at a time. I started on Monday and all good so far-anyone want to join me and we could motivate each other and post meal suggestions if it would help?

Today was leg day and I would like them back SadGrin I know what you mean about not seeing the difference sugar The scales aren't going as fast as I would like but today was the first time that I noticed that my belly has started to come down because the bulge was smaller when i was squatting. I have also only started to wear slightly fitted sports wear on my top half, which is a huge thing for me, and there is finally some definition between my boobs and belly when wearing a sports bra. (no pretty sports bra here, Shock absorber squish 'em jobs since I'm a G cup Blush)

Sugarandsalt · 10/06/2016 08:34

I think having clothes that don't fit well isn't helping. I did buy some new tight clothes in April when the bigger clothes got very big, and suddenly they seem to be loose on me. Don't want to spend a fortune on new things when I still have 2stone to lose. I week to get longer out of dresses so I might see if I can pick up some cheap ones, and get my current ones altered. I have an hourglass shape which is good on paper but clothes are not designed for!

I need shock absorber bras too, currently an F cup! Was an F cup on my wedding day at my target weight (although with a 28 band). I've breastfed DD for 2 years since though and am definitely less full than before so I wonder what size I'll end up at.

hunibuni · 10/06/2016 09:06

My natura shape is an hourglass as well so if I don't define my waist I end up looking bigger, although that hasn't been an issue for a long time since I'm big all over Blush I generally put it on evenly all over but I feel that it comes off rather randomly, like the top of my chest or just under my armpits Confused According to my PT, it's coming off evenly as well, so she thinks that I won't really notice a big difference for a while. She says she notices a big difference but I'm not seeing it as much because I see myself all the time, a bit like when someone says that DD has become tall but I haven't noticed a big difference.

Sugarandsalt · 11/06/2016 09:57

Hunibuni my natural shape is a bit strange. It's really more a pear shape with big boobs but narrow shoulders. Which means in general the same clothes suit as an hourglass.I'd love to look good in skinny jeans and a loose t-shirt but sadly no matter my size I never will. I'm enjoying shopping now I've lose some weight though, into a 12 on top and a 14 on bottom in most places at the moment.

Feeling very bloated at the moment (mid cycle bloating always gets to me) so I'm less than hopeful about Mondays weigh in.

I missed last weeks weigh in as I was away on holiday. I had promised myself I would wait until next Thursday to weigh myself but I couldn't wait in the end. 1lb ON I'm actually disappointed as although I did have some treats I always opted for the smallest version or didn't have anything and I tried to keep my meals balanced with small portions. I didn't drink much but I did walk a lot. I really thought I would have stayed the same. I'm desperately trying not to do my usual fuck it and scoff 3000 call worth of chocolate before reverting to old habits. I'm eating properly and doing some exercise so if I stick with it it will work, won't it? I really need to see some progress Sad

hunibuni · 12/06/2016 19:40

Iam I feel the same. Despite the tape measure saying one thing, the scales are not budging despite me having lost my appetite in the heat of the past couple of weeks. Training is going well and I feel fitter but it's so disheartening to see that the scales aren't moving. I'm a bit constipated Blush but even with that I would have hoped to see more of a loss. 7lbs in a month isn't bad but it doesn't feel proportionate to the effort being put in.Sad

Sugarandsalt · 12/06/2016 23:18

huni 7lbs a month is great progress. I lost 13lbs in January, then around 7lbs/month until April and it's been 5lbs/month since then. Probably getting slower still now. It's frustrating but it all adds up. And if the tape measure is saying you are losing I'd definitely be trusting that.

Agadooo · 13/06/2016 14:33

It WILL work nugget-keep with it-I know what you mean bout binging if you put on weight -ive always done that on previous diets but derermined this time and you can do it to-next weigh in you'll see a difference 😊

Thank you for your thoughts. Today is a new day. I've walked 12000 steps but won't get a chance to exercise tonight. I've consumed approx 975 calories so I can have something else to eat tonight. I've also purchased some terrifying scales that do BMI (high), body fat (unbelievable, I could rival a tub of butter) and hydration (bit low but easily fixable).
Well done huni 7lbs in a month is really good, it's the kind of rate that means you'll keep it off. I'm going to weigh myself again on Thursday and hopefully I'll see some progress too Smile

hunibuni · 13/06/2016 21:36

Thanks guys. I went out for dinner with DH and DCs and didn't overdo it. Feeling a lot better now but it does go to show how much your head can mess with you.

Agadooo · 14/06/2016 12:44

Weighed in-2 pounds down Smile

Well done!

Agadooo · 20/06/2016 14:41

Weighed in this morning-have lost 1.5 lbs. Was happy until I was at the shop a while a go and tried on a dress and saw myself in the full length mirror in my bra n pants - not a pretty sight n now feeling annoyed at myself that I let myself get like this. Need to try and stay focussed-am losing 1/2 pounds a week and I'm really hoping that I manage to lose 6.5lbs in the next 4 weeks which means I'll meet the first target I set myself. How's everyone else doing?

Can I join in please? I need to lose 4 stone. I'm 14 stone and have NO will power. Also 88 years old and can't walk as there's something wrong with my legs. Have lots of friends but none of them really need to lose weight so I need someone to chat to about the problem. I am a Mum, albeight an old one. Oldbar.

Hellyea · 21/06/2016 21:04

At 88, you ought to worry less about weight loss and eat all you fancy!
What an amazing age to reach!

Emiliesmummy15 · 21/06/2016 21:14

I am taking part in an online body challenge on facebook if anyone is interested.

Iamnotanugget · 22/06/2016 12:37

2lb off. Smile Agadooo you'very been doing really well. I'm sure you can manage the next 6.5lb in a month. I have 13lb to go until I reach my first target. I would love to get there by 12th August but that's only 7 weeks away. Do-able if I really try. How's everyone feeling?

user what plan are you following?
