I say "good weather" above but it was snowing today. I think I'm hoping the good weather will mean I'm out of the house.

No salad with the pizza and it was shop bought. I'm so ashamed
In my defence I just couldn't be arsed to cook Grin

Welcome blink,
Your pizza sounds yummy........ It's been so long since I had a pizza. Could murder one right now.

Wow lots of July babies. beyond and green I have heard it easier to wait for warmer weather when potty training is that correct? Maybe we could support each other through it? I'm freaking out about it personally Shock

beyond Oreo eggs sound amazing. I'm drooling at the thought.

green ds1 loves waffles. Being a self imposed veggie he loves everything potato. I feel like an awful mum when all he will eat is potato based foods.

sol well done on 2nd shred session. The rice cakes are marmite flavour but if I have plain ones I will spread a load on. I love marmite Grin

I'm going to make an effort with tonight's meal. Thinking something like a spinach bake maybe?

Report
SolitudeSometimesIs · 27/04/2016 19:56

What's a spinach bake Blink? I love spinach, can you share the recipe?

How did you get on sticking to your meal plan Rachey?

Just waiting for DH to finish putting the kids to bed and then I will be shredding again. I've stuck to Exante again today. I'm thinking of having one meal "off" per week, as in not an Exante meal. Nothing too calorie laden but just something that will make the rest of the week bearable. What do you think?

Racheyg · 27/04/2016 21:22

Hi sol,
Well done for day 3 of the shred. I can't wait to get back to the gym tomorrow I actually miss not going?!?

What exante meal did you have tonight?

The only thing to add to the meal plan was 2 bits of shortbread ShockBlush

blink how did the spinach bake go?

How have your days gone green and beyond ?

Report
Greenrabbit · 27/04/2016 21:31

That's a good idea Sol. Probably best to wait till you're in ketosis and try to keep it quite low carb. You could probably have something really delicious if you plan it properly. That time I actually stuck to it I used to get something like sagg paneer from the Indian. Or I would get a starter and salad (obviously most were meat based though!)

Hi Blink, welcome to the thread.

The plan sounds great again Rachey. I love marmite rice cakes! Have you managed to stay strong?

I've had another terrible food day. I got my shopping bags out this morning and discovered piles of mouse poo. So ended up scrubbing floors etc. Rushed to the shops and bought 2 M&S dine in meals instead of all the cook from scratch things I'd planned.
We've ate the unhealthiest of the meals tonight. The other was just steak with vegetables and fruit. I'll have that tomorrow or Friday. I must get on track again.

There must be loads of mice Sad, I saw one outside today. It was a field mouse and really cute. Why can't they stay outside? I kept seeing a stoat outside last week so they must be plenty to hunt. Poison is down now.

How have you been today Beyond ?

I fancy a new Fitbit for my Birthday, but the Jawbone is very pretty. DH is suggesting an Apple Watch but they seem too expensive.
I've gave up on my hair again Rachey so I won't be going for the GHD tong for now. I will probably buy a new lipstick.
I have no Birthday plans. DDs party is the day before. I'll probably be nursing a hangover due to trauma. I'm sure I'll eat loads though.Grin
Maybe I should get my jaw wired?

That's still good going Rachey. You've obviously developed a great routine and habits if you miss the gym!

I forgot to mention the Shred Sol. Brilliant!

My meals today Rachey were maple syrup pancakes, sweet and sour noodles and spag bol, then I had a bar after the shred as I figure that's the best time to eat something off plan. Two bits of shortbread is not much, you should be proud of yourself, I'm not with you on missing the gym, I haven't got the exercise bug yet.

Green we had mice invade a kitchen press earlier this year. We had shopping bags chomped to bits and a metric fuck ton of mouse shit but there were only 3 mice (which we caught by putting peanut butter on the traps as they love it but it is very sticky so they can't nick it from the traps - grim, I know!) Can you lock the press with a hair bobbin and make sure the little critters can't get in to your actual kitchen? Your M&S meal sounds lovely. I would have done the same.

I made it through the shred and it was easier tonight even though my muscles are achey. DH and I definitely spur each other on throughout it and I think I need someone to push me to stop making excuses and do the workout. As for the diet, it's not terribly exciting but I'll stick it out. Our scales needs a new battery so hopefully I will have it working so I can see if I have made any progress.

I'm still cheesed off that I haven't become a toned, skinny woman overnight. It's been 3 days for Gods sake!!!! Grin

Just a quick post.

Had my morning weigh in and in 3 days of Exante and The Shred I have lost 5.6 lbs!!!

I was feeling really crappy before my weigh in and had convinced myself I had barely lost anything. Feeling far more positive heading in to day 4.

Hope everyone has a good day.

I fell asleep and didn't actually cook dinner ConfusedGrin my poor DP had to fend for himself (like usual). Will definitely do it tonight as I had a super nights sleep for the first time in ages!

Report
Greenrabbit · 28/04/2016 11:45

That's excellent Sol. A great motivator too! I'm glad you're feeling better about it.

My DP usually has to,sort himself out too blink. It's wonderful how a good sleep can make you feel completely different.

I've just made some really nice soup for dinner tonight. I always end up getting distracted by housework on a Thursday and forget to cook. By the time I pick up,the children and get them to bed we end up eating rubbish. So I'm feeling more organised after doing that.

The house is almost all open plan Sol we have free range mice! They've been all over by the looks of it. Even in the loft (I'd stashed the sweets for DDs party bags up there and they've ate a bag of Skittles (can't blame them, they're delicious). There's probably only a couple really.
We back onto woodland so it's unavoidable really. Normally I'm quicker at spotting the signs. I've been so preoccupied with de cluttering I hadn't been cleaning as much and missed it. The poison normally sorts them out quickly. When the weather warms up the local cat might come back too and help sort them out.

I'm just planning on eating sensibly today. A piece of Rye bread with black pudding for breakfast. Avocado on rye for lunch. Soup for dinner. Fruit and yogurt for a snack.

How was your soup Green? You sound very organised. That's annoying about the mice, can you put things in ziplock bags for the time being so they can't smell it. I bloody hate wildlife when it invades my home, I prefer it outside and watch it from a distance.

Are you sure you're not just bloated Rachey? Don't cry, I know it's frustrating. How do you know it's fat and not water retention? I can make you feel better and let you know my starter weight for Exante...it was 207.6lbs. Feel better? I'm like super chunk (possible super hero name) compared to you.

Did you eat the chicken dippers blink? Are they really bad for you? I'm a veggie so haven't a clue, can you bake them and undo all the badness? I hear that's the point of baking.

I took yesterday off and ate some nice stuff (I'm having the totm from hell) and I didn't Shred, however I did stick mostly to Exante and did the Shred today. Not planning to weigh myself til Monday.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!
