green your poor dd they can be so difficult when unwell. It's like a vicious circle when kids are ill.

Exante might be a good thing to get going. You should join me on ww I'm only doing it online as I will struggle to get to the meetings.

I weighed myself today and I'm 10st 3.5 I'm kinda guessing that's due to the food poisoning and not a true reflection on weight loss.

My gym have changed their crèche policy so I cannot do double sessions anymore. Im gutted. Sad

Racheyg · 26/03/2017 07:24

Happy mother day CakeWineGinFlowers

Hope you all have a great day. I'm up a dressed for my 1 hour spin, everyone else asleep....... jealous. Yes very Grin

Greenrabbit · 26/03/2017 09:39

You're keen Rachey! How often do you need to use the crèche?

Hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day.

I re joined Weight Watchers last night. Online. Exante is probably not a great idea. Then I would put off dieting till after Easter, then until my Birthday (you get the idea!)

Shall we add each other as friends on the WW app Rachey? They had a challenge about pairing up with a friend and tracking everyday (to get a streak?) people seemed to have really good results. My user name on WW is also Greenrabbit if you fancy it.

How are things going Pom? Is DH any better yet?

Hope you are well too Sol

Happy Mother's Day to you all!!!!

I did another disappearing act there for a bit. My laptop broke (DS2 dropped something on it) and I couldn't remember my password to log in on my phone. I'm still chugging along with SW and have lost just under a stone, I have decided not to count my weightloss and just work towards achieving mini goals. I find I'm the sort of person who goes and treats themselves to cake when I've lost a stone, so I don't count the pounds lost, just look at how much closer to target I am (I hope that makes sense).

You sound like you're having a really tough time healthwise Green, I hope you're all feeling better soon. I find we get endless cycles of illness, it's so draining.

Rachey how are you finding WW? Sorry to hear about the food poisoning, it's bloody awful. Do you know where you got it from?

Pom I hear you about the lack of sympathy, I hate whinging adults. Are you still avoiding sugar?

I hope you're all having lovely Mother's Days and are being spoilt rotten!

Racheyg · 27/03/2017 09:24

sol wow that's an amazing loss. Well done. How are you finding the meetings? Are they pretty intense? That's a really positive outlook not looking at weight loss. That's what I did when I was on the body coach, it really helps your frame of mind.

Did you do anything nice yesterday?

It was chicken. It was cooked on Tuesday and I ate it on Thursday I didn't reheat it. It was pretty instant. (Well 2 hours after consumption) me and oh are trying to eat 2-3 veggie meals a week, any good recipes you can share? I always do the same things......Black bean tacos, sweet potato curry, tofu stir fry, falafels. I need help Grin

I'm finding ww ok, yesterday we had a afternoon tea type food so I ate a lot of bread and cake. I counted it all and I won't use my weekly points now. But I did burn 678 cals yesterday spinning Grin so I must be allowed a treat?

pom how are you getting on? Had dh made a speedy recovery? How is the no sugar going?

green I agree let's motivate each other on ww. I was reading some of the post on the app and everyone seems to do really well so It must work for us? When is your weigh day? Mine is Thursday but I might change it to Friday. I charted my initial loss but I think the food poisoning had an influence as I'm not that weight anymore, so I may just use this as my first really week? Or is that cheating?

Greenrabbit · 27/03/2017 13:27

That's a brilliant loss Sol. I also like your outlook, mini goals are probably more realistic for me too. I have so much to lose it sounds impossible at the moment.
Did you have a nice Mother's Day?
We all seem to be a lot better now thanks. Hopefully that's the end of it for a long time.

I think I'm going to post a screenshot of my tracker everyday Rachey? I'm not sure about what to post? I don't think I'm brave enough for a 'before' picture!
I started today, I might change weigh in to a Friday. Thursdays are always days that I give up and start eating everything in sight. It might keep me more focused! Then I can use my extra points for the weekend.
Well done on counting your afternoon tea.
I don't think it's cheating counting this as your first week at all.

I was so fat this morning. I'm very ashamed at how much I've let myself go.
I really need to lose about 60lb.Blush I think I'll have to break it down into 6lb chunks.

I will post more tonight.

Breakfast - Greek yogurt, mixed berries and linseed - 3 points

Lunch - feta and cous cous salad I weighed everything at its 8 points including a balsamic dressing

Dinner - I didnt realise how bad cheese is. So I have had a lot of points for dinner. Red lentil chilli con carne. With 40g of extra mature cheddar cheese total of 14 points Blush I should have checked the cheese before eating

Snacks - rice cakes, satsuma, pink lady

Racheyg · 28/03/2017 19:19

Why did I weigh myself mid week? I'm very disappointed I really thought I was doing well Sad

Greenrabbit · 28/03/2017 21:05

It's only Tuesday Rachey, give yourself a chance!
The food looks yummy. Where do you get the linseed mix from?

I agree about the points in cheese and carbs. I had coffee and oranges for breakfast so I was starving at 1pm. Had a tiny jacket potato, half a tin of Heinz five beans and 20g of cheddar. The whole meal was 16sp!

I've got 3 points left. Going to have a cup of tea and see what I can eat Grin

OP posts:
Racheyg · 28/03/2017 21:49

green you stir fry looks amazing. Yeah I'm gutted about cheese it's my fave.

The linseed mix is from Lidl they do lots of different mixes. My fave is the linseed, chia and goji berry. It gives my breakfast a different texture obv not as good as granola but I don't want to consume all my points at breakfast Grin

Greenrabbit · 29/03/2017 10:30

It was nice thanks. I'm a cheese addict too, l like it much more than chocolate.

I'll have to make a trip to Lidl soon, I can never be bothered to go as I have to pass so many other supermarkets to get to one it never seems worth the effort!

So I'm feeling slightly more energetic today. I have to be honest with myself and admit that it's because I haven't succumbed to a G&T (or 2) since Saturday.
I might even try exercising today (if the children will let me). I need to figure out how to fit exercising into my routine. But I'll worry about the diet this week!

OP posts:
SolitudeSometimesIs · 30/03/2017 20:50

Oh Rachey your food looks great. It's all so healthy. Don't worry about the weigh in, it's could just be fluid retention or something. Lidl sells some great stuff but I find their veg never lasts long.

Did you get any exercise done Green? Could you work in a few walks during the week or anything? Your 16 point meal sounds delish, just the sort of comfort food I like.

I've changed my weigh in day to Friday as I was pigging out on a Thursday night until Sunday. So if I move it until Friday now, in a month I'll move it to Saturday morning and try to cut down on my face stuffing.

I really want to be thin now. I'm so sick of being a fatso, I hate how clothes hang on me and how I have to suck my stomach in before I sit down or it pooch's out over my waistband. Ugh!

SolitudeSometimesIs · 02/04/2017 15:57

Lost 1 lb and some change this week which I was pretty happy about as it's that TOTM. I even went out to lunch with DS1 and didn't eat anything, I just had a coffee. I am absolutely loving SW, it makes me want to stick to it and the weight comes off even when I am a little off plan. I had a bag of dry roasted peanuts and crisps (a share bag with DH) and still lost .8lbs in one day.

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, the sun is shining here and it's making me feel like I don't want to be as big as this during the Summer. Last Summer (massive TMI alert!!!!!!) I was having to baby wipe between my roles of fat when I got all sweaty. I don't want to have to do that again. I don't want to feel like an over stuffed sausage who is beetroot red and sweating profusely when in the sun. It makes me cringe to think about it.

I am in my thirties, I don't want to be struggling with my weight when I am 40 and careering in to the dreaded menopause. My Mum put on so much weight during the menopause and struggled to lose it when she came out the other side. I want it gone before I find it even harder to get my shit together.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I really want to do it this time, I want to be thin.

Racheyg · 02/04/2017 20:58

sol congrats on 1lb loss. Please rant away. I really enjoy hearing everyone's thoughts ect.

I'm so happy for you that your enjoying sw. It doesn't feel like such hard work when it's enjoyable

Greenrabbit · 03/04/2017 21:56

Congrats Sol, glad that it's working for you.

I completely understand how you feel. I think we are the same age?
My current dilemma is not being able to fasten the zip of my coat.

I weighed myself on Saturday and had lost 5lb. Had a good weekend and managed to stick to my points.
I haven't exercised yet. I'm planning on starting this weekend. maybe I can get into a routine during the school holidays.

How are you Rachey?

Are you okay Pom? Is it the school holidays yet?

OP posts:
SolitudeSometimesIs · 03/04/2017 22:44

Congratulations on your 5 lbs Green!!!!
That's fantastic.

I had that with my coat too, I had to do a big inhale and zip it up, but then my boobs would be enormous. But now I can zip it up with ease and no big breaths.

Racheyg · 04/04/2017 08:47

green 5lb is amazing. Are you liking ww?
I am but I don't think it likes me Grin

sol I also agree I'm fed up of being fat. I want to spend the last of my thirties and my life skinny and happy (maybe just s dream Grin)

Racheyg · 04/04/2017 09:48

Just started a thread on style and beauty as found a pretty dress but it's too bridal to wear to a wedding and some on there got quite arsey. Some can't take a little joke.

Here is the stunning dress

(Not so) New Mums: Hand holding while we work on new bodies.
Pomegranatepompom · 04/04/2017 14:49

Love that dress rachey

Well done on your excellent losses Green and Sol

Sorry I've not been around, work and home very hectic. Did not weigh in as had a very eaty week last week. Still around 20lbs to go !

Everyone sounds really motivated. Back later.

Racheyg · 04/04/2017 19:20

Hi pom thanks, I think the dress is stunning but even most of my friends even said it was too bridal. Gutted.

Sounds like you have had a good week thou? Ate the kids on half term?

I sound motivated but I can't stop snacking which is not having a positive effect on the scales. Sad

I'm perched on a spin bike waiting for the class to start but have zero motivation

Pomegranatepompom · 04/04/2017 20:01

Could you wear it with bright accessories? I don't think it's bridal but I know some people are not keen on light colours at weddings.

Good luck at spin!

Greenrabbit · 04/04/2017 20:35

Thanks everyone.
I am actually enjoying it Rachey. I feel better anyway, I was eating far too much rubbish. Hopefully I can stick to it, PMT is starting though so anything could happen!
Almost had a WW ready meal this evening. I decided it wasn't worth the points, so I found some falafels lurking in the freezer. Made a salad and had them with a protein thin for the same points. Much nicer too.

I love that dress Rachey. I'm obsessed with that brand at the moment.
I would buy it anyway, it's a bargain!
I've seen a black flowery one that I love. But it's £350! I'm considering it for my brother's wedding in the autumn. I've already bought a dress that I'm supposed to be slimming into, it was pretty expensive too. I think I should maybe start looking at shoes instead!

OP posts:
Pomegranatepompom · 04/04/2017 20:56

Well done Green

What brand is it??

Greenrabbit · 04/04/2017 21:08

The one I've bought is from Get Cutie. The one I like is Needle and Thread.
