The dress I've bought is black with a gold Japanese flower print. The style is probably much better for my shape. I just need to fit into it.

Both lovely. Any other event so you could get both?

Racheyg · 04/04/2017 21:40

green me and you have been eying up the same dress. It's absolutely stunning. But £350.00 is pretty expensive I would want to get a least 1 wear a week out of it Grin

Be back in a mo just got out the shower.

SolitudeSometimesIs · 04/04/2017 21:53

The first dress is stunning Green. If my legs weren't absolutely destroyed from surgeries I would buy it in a heartbeat. You'd need a killer pair of heels for it. You sound like you are doing so well on WW, what's a protein thin?

How was your spin class Rachey? The dress you put up is lovely, but I wouldn't wear it to a wedding, only because people can get really shirty about white at weddings.

20lbs isn't too much weight to go Pom. You're doing so well. You're right, we all seem really motivated at the moment.

I've been trudging along with SW, it's been fine but I'm really busy so I've done quite a bit of batch cooking to stop reaching for biscuits. I want this weight gone now!!! I tried on a pair of size 14 trousers yesterday, it was a horror show. I desperately need to tone up. I'll stick in my baggy size 16's for a little while longer.

Greenrabbit · 04/04/2017 21:55

My social life is non existent so no chance of wearing both. I'll just keep looking at the pictures, it would never fit anyway.

Have you bought anything recently Pom?

It is stunning though Rachey. We have good taste Grin
How was spinning?

OP posts:
Greenrabbit · 04/04/2017 22:02

You sound very organised Sol. I need to batch cook, maybe next week.
I'd love to be a 16! You're doing really well. Do you have any ideas about what sort of clothes you'd like?

Protein thins are those thin bread things? They came out last year, made by Warburtons. I think they have a pea protein added so are higher in protein than the regular type. They also do a loaf and wraps. They just taste like normal brown bread, they are the same WW points as the regular thins. I think they might be a HEB on SW?

Need your advice, going out on Saturday night for my friends hen party. It's more of a meal and cocktails than blow up cocks and cheesy dancing.

Racheyg · 04/04/2017 23:02

sol wow that's amazing all that batch cooking. I struggled massively with clothes when dropping sizes.

Spinning was ok, different instructor and she has a different take on a class. I never butler that many calories in her class which I'm disappointed at

SolitudeSometimesIs · 05/04/2017 21:06

Rachey your figure is amazing. I'm so jealous. Your legs are incredible, I would go for the skirt option, it's a lovely outfit.

I'll keep an eye out for protein thins Green, I haven't seen them here before. You'll be a size 16 soon, you sound really motivated with WW. I'm not sure what sort of clothes I want, I think I want some nice stuff that makes me look less like a badly dressed Weeble..

I try to do some extra portions or chuck some veg in a pot to make soup when I have a bit of time, it really helps when I come in from work or when I feel weak and want to snack. I have a night out on Saturday and I'm dreading trying to find stuff to wear, it just looks a bit sloppy.

Greenrabbit · 05/04/2017 22:17

I agree, you look amazing Rachey. I like all the oufits, I think I like the dress the most? I never go out so I'm not the best person to ask really!

I've only seen the protein thins in Asda Sol. I don't know if they are that much higher in protein than the regular type really, just makes me feel more healthy!

Do you find that you put off buying nice things because of your weight? I've been looking at sale stuff but realised that I don't actually have to buy it because it's reduced. I've told myself I can just buy myself something if I like it and it suits me, it doesn't have to be on sale.

I've had a massive diet fail today. Definitely PMT, but I need to get back in control tomorrow.

Racheyg · 06/04/2017 20:36

Thanks guys. I defo look better with clothes on Grin

I'm putting ww on hold till next week I have not really been sticking within points since I started. I'm out for drinks on Saturday night so I will get my head down on Monday

Pomegranatepompom · 07/04/2017 18:07

Great outfits Rachey and I agree you look lovely. I like the skirts and boots one the most.

Any ideas re outfit for Saturday Sol ?

I definitely put off buying things Green I really need a decent pair of jeans rather than the M&S jeggings I wear a lot but really don't want to pay ++ until I am a better weight. I've also decided I am only buying things I love.
I'm so annoyed with my lack of will power, I appear to have put 2lbs on this week.

I did buy a couple of things in Monsoon and I am waiting for a whistles offer to get a coupe of things from there.

How's everyone?

Racheyg · 08/04/2017 08:04

pom how are you? Are you having a great half term with dcs? I'm with you on the not buying anything until lost weight. What have you got your eye on? Jeans wise I've started to stay away from super skinny with Lycra and gone for full denim. Not sure if suits me more but I feel I look better.

sol where are you going tonight? Any outfit ideas?

green them protein thins sound great. How is the pmt are you back on track? It's so hard isn't it. I haven't really been trying hence the no weight loss. I will really knuckle down one day Grin

I hope you all don't think I posted pics for compliments after years or dieting ect I've lost my way with what suits me and what doesn't. I'm not really buying anything new until I'm a size 10. I'm a 12 at the mo, and I don't want to buy lots of clothes in the size that I am.

I am struggling to find an outfit for my friends wedding in may. I have a back up dress but I really want to look good and feel a little frumpy in it

Pomegranatepompom · 11/04/2017 09:10

Not at all Rachey. I love seeing outfits and nice to see them on you so we could advise :)

How were the night outs Sol and Rachey ?
How are you Green ?

I lost the 2lbs I put on, but having Easter off so won't weigh in next week.
I ma now dreaming about chocolate and have a little treat ready for Thursday. I have a vague plan for after Easter.
I've some clothes links (wants) I will link later.
Have a lovely day.

Racheyg · 12/04/2017 09:30

Well done pom I find it hard losing weight I've already lost. How are you doing?

It's great to get all your perspectives it's so hard when you don't go out much then you do. I don't want to look like mutton dressed as lamb or frumpy either. I'm finding being in my early-mid thirties tough on my style.

How was your night sol

green how are you getting on?

I hope you all are looking forward to Easter?
I've treated myself to a coffee as dcs aren't sleeping I'm so tired Sad I hate to think how many points it is.

Racheyg · 13/04/2017 22:44

I'm So sleep deprived ds2 keeps waking up at 5.30 and refuses to go back to sleep. I know it's only a 45 mins earlier but makes such a difference

Racheyg · 16/04/2017 21:39

I hope you have all had a good Easter.

I have stuffed my face. I can't move for rear of throwing up.

Pomegranatepompom · 17/04/2017 11:57

Me too - I'm waddling. Motivation many mailed away.

Pomegranatepompom · 17/04/2017 11:57

Hope DS is sleeping better ?

SolitudeSometimesIs · 18/04/2017 20:18

Hi, I hope everyone had a lovely Easter. I didn't eat too many eggs, but I seemed to have eaten everything else. I've put on so much weight. I'm toying with doing Exante again, just for a month or so. I am such a fatso. I stuck mostly to SW today for the first time in a week, but it is costing me a fortune in fruit and veg. And my wisdom teeth are acting up so eating anything that's not mush is proving difficult.

How's your DS sleeping Rachey? Sleep deprivation is the pits, you have my sympthy. And I think being off school and out of routine is messing my two around.

Did you buy any new clothes Pom? I love looking at your style picks and shopping vicariously through you. I'm refusing to buy anything til I shift a bit of weight, I am determined I won't be this size in 3 months time.

Racheyg · 18/04/2017 22:49

Evening all,

sol you are not a fatso. It's so easy to put a couple of pounds on when you go off plan. Well done for getting back on sw, if your finding it hard join me and green on weight watchers. For the first time I'm not starving myself or restricting but I'm being honest and pointing everything.

I agree my food and veg shop is so expensive, it doesn't help the ds1 can eat a punnet of strawberries a day Shock wisdom teeth are a pain in the back side have you tried gargling with salt water?

Thanks pom and sol he is still up at the crack of dawn Sad we have had a touch week with behaviour ds1 snatching toys and pushing other kids. I'm at my wits end. We have reintroduced a reward chart as he behaviour is getting me down. The naughty step doesn't work and he laughs when you tell him off.

We got ds1 first pick of school. It's only 10 min walk away and has s great prospectus and rated outstanding. ( although I know that don't mean much)

I haven't been so great with my diet this weekend. Had mil 70th and ate lots of food and yummy cake. I also polished off the last of the mini eggs from making Easter egg nest Blush but I went to the gym thurs, fri, sun, mon and today. I weighed myself tonight even thou weigh day isn't till Friday and I haven't put any on. I'm still 10st 4lb, I'm hoping to be 10st 3 by Friday and that would give me a average of a 1lb a week l. It's not the greatest but it's slow and steady.

pom please share your purchases or dream purchases. How are you getting on are you still running?

green how are you doing?

Greenrabbit · 19/04/2017 16:20

Hi everyone, hope you all had a nice bank holiday.
Last week was busy and stressful. Then we went away for a few nights, which was lovely. Back home today resembling an Easter egg.
Out for the day tomorrow so I'm sure a lot of food will be involved again. Then we have a Birthday party on Friday.
Diet starts again on Saturday. I'm quite tempted to go for Exante Sol, but maybe WW might be more sensible.

I'll read everyone's posts properly later and post properly then Easter Smile

Pomegranatepompom · 19/04/2017 21:19

I haven't stopped eating for a week and now have pmt. I'm avoiding the scales. Rather than exante, could you consider a couple of fast days Sol and green ?

Sol you are not a fatso and hope wisdom teeth are not too bad? I had mine taken out under local, wasn't too bad.

Green enjoy the rest of you week and then we can all focus together.

Rachey amazing not to have gained weight, I'd love to be your weight ! How is DS? DD is being quite challenging too. Maybe an age thing? She takes absolutely no notice of me..! Glad you got the school place you wanted.

Will try and post some links, the lap top is not cooperating with copy and paste though!

Pomegranatepompom · 19/04/2017 21:31

I like from Whistles:
The Tori fringe dress
Aubrey woodcut tassel dress (or the top)

Mint velvet: embroidered pintuck blouse
M&S wide fit stilleto heel sandals in Navy (ony seem to have these in wide fit but keen to try anyway, although they are very high).

I have no where to wear any of these items btw :)

Racheyg · 19/04/2017 22:01

Just a quick post ....... does anyone have any wisdom how to deal with naughty 3.5 yr olds?

Apparently ds1 bit someone at nursery? I'm so upset he has never done anything like this before. Yeah pushes and snatches but biting?!?! I will get the full story tomorrow. I don't know if I can sleep im so upset.
