How is everyone.

Day 2 of Exante. It's so boring. I ended up with chicken and broccoli for dinner!

You might beable to get the WW books on eBay Sol. I'm sure that I read on here that there is an app that has the old calculator on.
Actually I googled it once and found a website with a pro, points calculator.
I found pro points easier. It just felt like I was actually eating normally and healthily?
Smart points seems to set me off with starving/binging. I think it's because all the nice treats are high in points so I feel more deprived?

I'll have a look later for the website. I might have some pro points books too.

What meals did you get Green? I have some left in the press in the kitchen but I can't bear the thoughts of eating it. How much are you planning to lose?

I have a few points written down but I think I'm hard wired to remember them. When DS2 is in school tomorrow I'm planning on going to the gym, I'm mostly going to do some cardio - uphill walking on the treadmill and the cross trainer.

Would you think of going back to pro points when you are finished Exante?

Greenrabbit · 06/09/2016 21:09

I bought some porridge, Indian Curry, the Dahl pot. I had Mexican rice yesterday (quite nice). I also bought some bars (they've improved since last time I had them).
I've still got some packs of sausage mix and pizza (vile). Plus some out of date shakes.

I really want to be under 12 stone. So about 3 stone to lose.

I'm not sure of my plan at the moment. I've got about 4 weeks worth of meals. I'd like to add some of my own low carb meals in too so I don't go too crazy. I really hoping I can get a good loss in the next 3 weeks to keep me motivated.
I'll certainly have another look at pro points. Im really tempted to be really strict until I've lost it all, then do something like Weight watchers to maintain.
But it's easier talking about it than actually doing it.

Is tomorrow your first time at the gym or did you get a chance to look around today?

The wedding was amazing thanks sol
I cannot believe I got stopped in the street and told how amazing my dress was. Shock

sol how did the gym go? Did u feel good afterwards?

green how is the exante going?

beyond did u keep the dresses?

daisy any news about your dh?

Greenrabbit · 07/09/2016 10:31

Which dress did you go for in the end Rachey? You looked great in all the pictures of your various options, it's nice to get a compliment too.

Beyond Sainsburys has quite a lot of dresses similar to the M&S ones.

The Exante is going okay Rachey. I need to force myself to drink more water. I'm going to take the DC straight to the park after school with a picnic. That seems to be my time for picking at stuff.
Then I'm going to finish the painting tonight, so that will hopefully keep me away from food too.

Hope everything is okay Daisy and Mship.

Ok, I have just eaten awhole nann bread....,.,,,,,,,,,

I need to get back on the diet,my weight is slowly creeping up Shock

BeyondTheSea · 09/09/2016 09:39

Morning all.

How goes exante Green ? I think doing 2 meal replacements and a low carb evening meal would keep you sane. It's so hard otherwise and I think you'd still see really good results. How's the decorating going?

Have you been to the gym Sol ? I am so impressed with your new regime. I'd stick to propoints if it suits you better. Have you tried googling?

Glad you had a great time at the wedding Rachey Lovely to get a compliment as well.

Hope everything ok Daisy

I'll take a look at the sainsburys dresses. Returning the M&S ones, One was polyester and felt really thick, The other was not flattering. I did however, get a blouse the other day which I think I will keep.

25% off Joules at the moment. I really don't need another poncho but there is one I like....

I've revised my weight loss plan. I need to lose 28lbs and then reassess. I really want to be healthy (and look good in clothes). I am weighing in on Mondays and this week lost 2lbs. I have managed 3x 600 cal days this week, sp hoping for a loss next week.

Have a lovely Friday everyone.

Greenrabbit · 09/09/2016 11:41

Well done Beyond, you'll have a great loss with those low calorie days.
Do you do them on work days or days off?

I'm avoiding looking at clothes. I've just tackled the mountain of clean washing and felt guilty about all the lovely dresses I own that don't fit!
The thought of them fitting again is motivating.
I did buy 2 pairs of clogs. I was only going to keep one pair but I love them both.

The Exante is going okay. The weekend will be a challenge (as always). I've switched to two meal replacements and one low carb meal like you are thinking of. I think it's easier that way and it worked when I stuck to it before. I think I'm better off just cutting most bad things out rather than having them in moderation. (But that's something I'm going to have to work on)
Monday and Tuesday are very busy days so I might try to just have 3 meal replacements on those days.

I've not weighed myself, but DH said I looked thinner and my face looks less bloated.

The decorating is almost finished, just one wall left. I'm doing it tonight.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Afternoon all,

green I wore the red/orange dress with sleeves. Felt very comfortable, I'm just a little upset with myself that Ian bigger than what I was before August.

I have decided not to buy anymore clothes until I'm happy with my weight (not sure how long it will last) it's great that u have some nice dresses as inspiration. Where did u get ur clogs from? Please post pics as I'm
After a pair.

I'm glad exante is going well.

beyond it's a shame about the dresses. Glad ur diet is going well. Maybe u guys can motivate me?

sol how are u getting on?

I forgot to ask green and sol how did potty training dc go over the summer?

Greenrabbit · 09/09/2016 21:08

I thought that dress looked lively on you Rachey. Was it from Oasis? I have a similar one in black.

I bought these clogs which I thought I could wear for Autumn. I also got these ones too
They were in the sale/seconds part of the website but I can't spot anything wrong with them. I've now got 3 pairs of Lotta clogs, I prefer them to my Swedish Hasbeens. They are softer leather and don't squeak as much.

The potty training went quite well. On day 2 she threw her potty and knickers away, but when I refused to give her back a nappy she gave inGrin. She's still in nappies for bed and is funny about pooing, she's dry during the day though.
Is your DS still doing well? Has he started his new nursery yet?

OP posts:
Greenrabbit · 11/09/2016 21:19

Totally messed up this weekend. Had a stressful morning with the children yesterday so turns to food and wine (I need to learn some coping strategies)
So I'm starting again tomorrow. Really annoyed at myself though,

The decorating is finished though! (Although now I'm planning on doing the hallway)

OP posts:
Greenrabbit · 11/09/2016 21:20

Plus I can't spell.

OP posts:
Racheyg · 12/09/2016 09:26

green well done on finishing the decorating. What are ur plans for the hall? A touch up? Or complete new look?

Racheyg · 12/09/2016 09:33

green Draw a line under it and start fresh, it's so hard this dieting lark. I wish I had more self control. I am back on the diet on Thursday have a few things planned these next few days then I'm really going to focus I've shot back up to 10 1/2 St and I'm looking very bloated. My clothes are getting tight again Blush

I'm glad dd did well at potty training, they are stubborn little things aren't they. Ds1 enjoys his new nursery and in the last 2 weeks his speech has snowballed. We have gone from 3 or 4 words to about 50 and they way he tells his brother off brings a tear to my eye Smile

SolitudeSometimesIs · 12/09/2016 21:16

Hi All,

Glad to hear Exante is going well Green, you're a more determined woman than me. Does you house look lovely now it's all re-painted? Am I right in understanding that your kids teachers are visiting your house next week? Why is that? I don't mean to pry and you can tell me to sod off if you want but I've never heard of that before.

Rachey are you doing 90 Day Joe Wicks thing again? That's amazing about your Son's speech - you must be so proud (and emotional!). He's doing so well.

Beyond I join you in the poncho love. I adore them. I have gotten in to long swooshy (total fashion term) cardigans cinched in with a belt under the bust. It covers a multitude of bum/thigh fat while showcasing my not-to-bad boobs. Well done on doing 3 600 cal days. What do you eat?

I am on day 1 of propoints. I tried the new fangled points and I can't get used to them. DH is doing marvellously so he's sticking with them. He's 6 lbs down in his first week and looking to have lost between 4-6 lbs this week. I lost 5 lbs the first week and I'm hoping for 3 this week.

I'm not sure if I'm motivated at all, all I know is I can't carry on feeling like this. I had to go back to work 15lbs heavier than when I left in May - it was mortifying. None of my work clothes fit me and I am bloody roasting as this extra layer (or 5) of fat is working as some sort of insulation and I'm cooking in it.

So I bought some new make up, cut my hair in to a swishy bob and have started going to the gym.

We can do this by Christmas can't we?
Come December shouldn't we be able to look back to now and feel glad that we put all the hard work in?
Wouldn't it be nice to be happy to be in photo's this Christmas, instead of lurking behind a strategically placed child?
Won't it feel great to pick something out of your wardrobe to wear to an event and know you look good in it, rather than hating the way everything you own highlight's some bad feature and getting all hot and sweaty when you realise you only have one semi-decent going out ensemble?

This is our Christmas and the only one's who can screw it up are ourselves.

No more excuses! Let's get our shit together, support each other and get on the road to being healthier and looking skinnier!

Racheyg · 14/09/2016 21:33

sol no I'm not doing his diet again. I'm just doing the blood sugar diet. Looking forward to starting tomorrow.

How is everyone?

Racheyg · 15/09/2016 16:09

Large coffee
Then dinner will be
Marinated chicken thighs and salad

Racheyg · 15/09/2016 18:46

I've also eaten 4 cream crackers Blush

Racheyg · 16/09/2016 08:47

Ok yesterday was a bit shit. I will try to do better today.

Milk gone off so black coffee this am. Just heading to tumble tots then doing a 45 min circuit class at the gym.

As its raining in London won't be going out this afternoon so I'm going to have to entertain the kids somehow Confused I'm thinking plays doh and drawing I will find it hard not to snack today.

BeyondTheSea · 16/09/2016 09:34

Hope everyone had a good week.

Liked your rousing post Sol and amazing weight loss. I agree, I am sure we can do this for this Christmas! What make up did you get? Hair sounds great. Is it easier to do?

How was your week Green ? Well done on finishing the decorating. Don't worry about your day that didn't go to plan you wont have undone all your good exante work. How was the school visit?

Well done on starting again rachey Tipping down here as well, discovered this morning that the DC's raincoats aren't waterproof, bit annoyed as from JL.

I did indeed buy another poncho but but I'm thinking of returning it as I now have 5 and 3 coatigan style coats Shock

I lost 3lbs this week, so 23lbs to go...

On my fast days I have:
greek yogurt, strawberries sprinkling of seeds - 150 cals
Salad or soup - 150 cals
Chicken fillet with salad or veg 200 cals

I also use about 100 cals on snacks ie nuts, 2 squares chocolate, can't seem to manage 500 cals only.

Racheyg · 16/09/2016 12:00

Omg sol I've only just seen your amazing loss well done GrinGrin

Racheyg · 16/09/2016 20:53

Diet starts again tomorrow................
Just had a huge Turkish takeaway

Hope everyone is well ?

beyond you can never have too many ponchos Grin

Greenrabbit · 16/09/2016 22:29

I want Turkish takeaway too Sad

Well done on the weight loss Beyond and Sol I'm sad that I don't have a poncho. I might look at M&S now.

Having the week from hell. Currently eating Malteasers and necking wine.

DH is away. DD1 has cried at everything all week. Had a massive tantrum tonight. She's normally no bother. Year 1 must be torture.
Nursery teacher visit was fine, she pretended to be asleep. But she is determined that she is not going next week. I will resort to bribery.

Got about 6 inches of hair cut off yesterday, I'll regret it tomorrow when I try to wash it.

I'll post properly tomorrow.

OP posts:
Greenrabbit · 16/09/2016 22:37

I bought these yesterday too

www.marksandspencer.com/leather-lace-up-trainers/p/p22475186?image=SD_01_T02_4095B_N4_X_EC_90&color=BROWNMIX&prevPage=plp&pdpredirect

I've bought so much stuff this week. I need to stop.

OP posts:
Racheyg · 18/09/2016 07:52

green the pumps are beautiful. Well done for getting your hair cut 6inches is a lot, did you feel good afterwards? I remember feeling very good about myself after my hair cut (long with fringe to long bob.) but now I'm growing it.

Diet will def start tomorrow, have just made pizza bases for dinner Grin
