I discovered that DH took my vat (1kg tub) of Turkish yogurt out of the fridge on Saturday and didn't put it back in. Bastard Angry

Oh no Green, does that mean your meal plans are ruined? Can you get some more today? Your menu yesterday looked lovely. I was starving just looking at it.

Day 2 of exante here, I have also borrowed sil's ab machine so I can do some belly focused workouts. Ill let you know how I get on. Woke up this morning and I am 5.2lbs lighter than yesterday, yay!

Racheyg · 12/07/2016 09:31

Morning everyone,

green oh no naught dh. I would be furious with oh. Hope it hasn't ruined ur meal plans to much.

I have seen the graze boxes, let us know how you get on.

sol that's amazing loss. You will be rocking that dress in no time Grin is the ab machine like the slendertone?

I with you both on esteem issues. I've been looking into tummy tucks. Oh thinks I'm crazy but would support me. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough? Also will it make me feel better?! It's a shame I can't seem an after before I have it done.

Blbeyond well done on your loss. And hope dd had a good birthday I still have ds Ben and holly cake sitting around have given most away thou Grin how did your fast day go?

daisy how are things with you?

mship hope your well?

Today's meal plan is very much like yesterday. I had baked eggs with tomatoes and avocado for dinner it was very yummy but I'm worried eating the same foods will prevent loss. I'm very nervous on weighing myself on Thursday as the weekend was a bit of a write off.

My parents are taking ds1 away for the weekend so it's just ds2 me and oh. What shall we do?

Ds1 is getting bored of tumble tots and little kickers anyone know of any other activities that would keep a very active non talking 3 year old entertained?

SolitudeSometimesIs · 12/07/2016 21:25

Oh Rachey I'm not sure a tummy tuck is the way forward. Isn't there really bad scarring with them? I have dreadful post c-section pouch going on, I was told the only way to get rid would be a tummy tuck but the scarring is way worse than my belly. I also don't like the way the skin sits on some of them once the swelling goes down, it can look very unnatural. I'd do loads of research if I were you, would you be happy with a flatter stomach but a hip to hip scar?

Day 2 of Exante done and dusted. I am absolutely starving. I can only hope that the weightloss makes it all worth while. The ab trainer is some sort of fancy sit-up machine, SIL swears by it but is pregnant with baby number 2 so I can give it a go.

SolitudeSometimesIs · 12/07/2016 21:28

As for activities? I go to a big soft play place that has a toddler morning and we've stuffed our back garden with swings, slides, a trampoline etc. to keep the kids amused. DS2 is non-verbal but loves physical activity, things like weeding the garden and being outdoors generally. I invite lots of friends over with their kids too.

Racheyg · 13/07/2016 20:27

Evening all today's food hasn't really gone to plan as I was rushing around this morning trying to take ds1 to nursery (ds2 already there) and his birthday cupcakes that I left me breakfast and lunch at home SadAngry

So I had a pink lady for breakfast and 2 large coffees approx 100 cal

Lunch
Mushroom and artichoke green bean salad from m&s deli counter no ideal cals but I'm hoping no more that 400 cal

Snack
Beef jerky and a can of diet coke
71 cal

Not sure what I will eat for dinner as I'm waiting to bounce my fat off for an hour.

Will finish post off after class.

SolitudeSometimesIs · 14/07/2016 09:13

Oh that's annoying Rachey, can you use the food today?

Day 4 of Exante today. I didn't weigh in this morning as I've been up since 2 am with DS2. I had 2 cups of coffee and a bag of crisps before 8 am. I was 8 lbs down yesterday morning though.

Hope everyone has a great day today. Let's take this one day at a time and try to stick to our eating plans today.

Greenrabbit · 14/07/2016 10:06

Yesterday was a write off got me Rachey. How was the bouncing? I was looking into trampolining classes but our new centre doesn't do them yet.

8lb is fab Sol. I had a similar reason for eating yesterday. It's really difficult when you are tired. Like you said I'm trying again today. Have you done much with the ab machine?

I think I might up my calories for afew days a week. I don't think I'll manage easily at the weekend.
I was feeling really miserable yesterday too. I was considering giving up and excepting fatness. But I know I'll just get bigger. So I'm going to concentrate on getting fitter when the children are off school and try to continue with calorie counting/low carbing. I want to be a stone lighter by the time DD2 starts nursery (I think that's in about 9 weeks). Then I have to lose another 2 stone by next September (brothers wedding).

DH was sorry about the yogurt. I was just annoyed as I'd made a special trip to Lidl for it (we don't have one in our town). At least it was only £1.40?

Rachey I don't think I'd be brave enough for a tummy tuck. Isn't the scarring quite bad too?

Maybe you could look into finding ways to accepting your body more? You've done so well with your exercise and you seem to be very focused with dieting. I think you should be kinder to yourself Flowers
I've had 2 sections and was horrified by the aftermath of the first one. Maybe it's because I'm quite big anyway, but it actually doesn't bother me anymore. But it's taken me awhile to come to terms with it. Although looking at some mums wearing gym gear this morning made me slightly envious. Envy

I'm not sure about activities for 3 year olds. It does get difficult to keep them entertained. I know that during the summer a lot of National Trust/English Heritage/RHS places have children's activities running, most are outdoors so good to tire them out. Are there any local Facebook pages for your area? They seem to have a lot of places advertising activities.

We are going to Jittabugs and Creation Station over the summer.

Greenrabbit · 14/07/2016 10:09

In our area there are a lot of children's farms nearby. They normally have big soft plays as well as the tractor rides/animals. You can get a years pass quite cheaply. Is there anything like that locally?

Nearly back to my pre holiday weight............

Today I weigh 10st 5lb just another 19lbs to go.

Sorry for the quick post will post later

TheMshipIsBack · 15/07/2016 11:00

Hi all, some nice sounding healthy eating going on! I've stalled and haven't lost any weight for two weeks, but no gain either! It was my birthday and I relaxed my no treats policy a little. DD is nursing hugely this week, think she's having a growth spurt, so maybe next week I'll be down a pound again. That'd be nice. You all know I'm taking this slow, I've got such a long way to go it's got to be a permanent change.

Racheyg · 16/07/2016 15:49

Arghhhhhhh huge post deleted again. Arghhhhh AngryAngryAngry

Racheyg · 17/07/2016 08:21

Morning all,

I wrote such a long post yesterday and my phone decided to crash. Was so angry that I couldn't be bothered to post again.

Hope you all have been enjoying the nice weather.

mship are you still wearing the carrier for long walks? I hope you had a great birthday? July seems quite popular for birthday it was my ds1 3rd last Monday so we spend the whole weekend eating Blush did you get any nice presents?

green thanks for the great ideas. There is great parks and stuff near us and City farms. I guess I just feel bad about cancelling tumble tots and little kickers but he just doesn't appear to be enjoying them any more.

I think the plan for your weight loss sounds good and achievable. I also have had 2 c sections. It's not set in stone about having a tummy tuck I'm just fed up of hating what I see when I look in the mirror.

How are u getting on with the bsd? I have relaxed these past 3 days as I went out and had a few cocktails and whiskeys Grin so I feel very bloated and uncomfortable at the moment but I'm back on plan today.

sol thank you for your suggestions also. How are you getting on? 8lbs down mid week sounds amazing.

I don't think I am brave enough for a tt but I look so awful, that I don't think exercise will work. I have looked at before and after a and some look awful and your right the scaring isn't the greatest. It's def worth thinking about.

beyond how have you been? Has the fasting gone well?

daisy how has your week been?

As you guys may know my ds1 has a speech delay. We had s home visit and he was assessed as being severely delayed. They have now fast tracked us for a space at this special nursery that have on site speech therapist this is for 3 hrs 5 mornings a week. The only downside is that we still have to pay full days at our nursery so it means we will not be saving £200 a month when ds1 gets his 15 hrs but I'm hoping this nursery is the right thing for him

Racheyg · 17/07/2016 21:15

ok diet starts again tomorrow. I did an hours spin class and have spent the whole day hungry and snacking.

off to a spa day with work cannot wait for a bit of pampering

SolitudeSometimesIs · 18/07/2016 21:18

How was your spa day Rachey? Are you nice and relaxed?

I'm on the last week of exante, thank God. On Sunday I will be back to normal food. Thinking of doing James Duncan diet next week.

The weather here is amazing so we have spent the last few days in the sun and splashing about in the paddling pool. I hope you're all having a good week.

Racheyg · 19/07/2016 06:11

It was an amazing day thanks sol I had the most amazing facial and a mani and pedi I also did my work out in the gym and 40 lengths in the pool.

It feels a shame to go back to work today. (In 31 degree heat Shock) but I guess good things must come to and end.

My diet starts back today. I had carbs thurs, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and yesterday so I'm guessing my weight will have gone back up a few pounds.

When are you weighing in sol? Is the exante going on? I did the James Duncan for 6 days and lost 7lbs. But I put it all back on within a few weeks Sad

daisywhoopsie · 19/07/2016 13:48

Weighed in this morning and I'm the same wait as last week. A little disheartened but I probably deserved a gain with the week I've had!

Spa day sounds fabulous Rachey, I'm very jealous!

The JD diet looks great, Sol. I love grapefruit. Might give it a go next week depending on how you find it.

daisywhoopsie · 19/07/2016 13:48

Weight* I should say. You'd think after dieting for so long I'd at least know how to spell that...

BeyondTheSea · 19/07/2016 17:38

Sorry for absence ladies, I am not in the diet zone at all. On holiday next week and so I'll be back after that and will try harder.

Well done on all progress :)

possum18 · 19/07/2016 17:46

Hello I'm hoping I can pop in on this! I have 15 week old twin boys and am desperate to loose 2 stone but between the 20 nappies a day, the 10 bottles and finishing my uni course in the next month - I'm so exhausted and finding I have little time to get out and about. Same with cooking it's a time issue, a lot quicker to throw a frozen pizza in the oven or call the Chinese than start cooking fresh veg and lovely fish from scratch. Any advice warmly welcome I need a kick up the Arse!

daisywhoopsie · 20/07/2016 10:28

Have a lovely holiday, Beyond!

Hi possum! Congratulations on your twins! I've mentioned here before I only manage to get out and about because otherwise the dogs would drive me to the point of insanity. Food wise, my partner looks after DS whilst I cook. I'm forever dreading the day he suggests a swap. I'm a bit strange about other people using making mess in the kitchen!

I'm sure someone else will be along soon with some much more useful advice! Grin

SolitudeSometimesIs · 23/07/2016 20:42

Hi,

Welcome Possum, you must be rushed off your feet, I'm not surprised you are exhausted. The supermarket near me does fresh dinners that you just bung in the oven, does your one do them? After I had DS2 I bought them quite a bit, they do a whole chicken, potatoes and veg in a roasting tray and you just follow the instructions. They have fish meals, meatballs, chops and stuffed loin of pork. They weren't very expensive and it felt like we were having proper food.

I lost about 12lbs in the end, I fitted in my dress and I was very happy. However, I now have TOTM from hell (the dress is mostly white so no chance of wearing it) and a huge sticky out belly thanks to water retention. To say I'm fuming is an understatement. Myself and my uterus are no longer friends!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

daisywhoopsie · 23/07/2016 21:45

Great work on the 12lbs, sol! Myself and my uterus still haven't made up since DS came along. I used to have regular periods with no pain, bloating or PMT... I now have the opposite.

Are you still following the James Duncan diet next week? I'm definitely going to give it a go and have managed to rope in my SIL too.

How's everybody's weekend going?

Racheyg · 23/07/2016 22:16

Evening all, Sorry it's been a while.

Welcome possom, wow 15 week old twins, that in its self sounds like a work out Grin well as the weather is so nice how about salads but pimping them up? Adding lentils and goats cheese ect. Failing that a good old stir fry? Packet veg so no chopping?

sol wow that is amazing loss. I'm so happy for you. But also very angry on you behalf about totm.

daisy it's great that you have sil as a buddy when you do the diet. I did it a while back and lost 7lbs I think in 5 days (didn't do the full 7)

beyond hope you have a great holiday.

green how are you getting on?

So I'm trying to follow the bsd but some days I'm very good and only have 800cals. Other days I go a little crazy. I still am at the gym 4 times a week so I guess that helps. I weighed in on Thursday and I was 10st 4lbs. I guess I should be pleased but it's not how I see myself in the mirror. I guess I have to improve my self esteem?

Oh good is anyone else's dc's not sleeping? They are up late and wake early. This hot weather really is effecting them.

Please someone knock some sense into me, lots of our friends are pregnant or having their 2nd and I'm feeling broody. It's a totally unreasonable feeling as I know oh doesn't want anymore and we are just starting to get our lives back.

Racheyg · 24/07/2016 06:17

Argh can someone tell my dc's that 5am is not acceptable. Every day without fail, what is wrong with them?
