I'm looking for a buddy to join me and help motivate to lose some of this flab! I'm 5'7" and about 12st but will weigh in tomorrow morning.

Wow that's fantastic Fyaral, what an inspiration. Calorie counting is my plan as well, plus cutting out the wine!
Mfp gives extra calories for exercise I've logged but on reflection I think it'd be better for me to save those up and do the treat thing once a week as you have been doing.

Having said all that I've just ordered loads of half price chocolate from hotel chocolat Blush

The fact its lower in sugar means I can have some without going on a mad sugar binge like I did 3 weeks ago. Planning on rationing them out. Will be a test of my willpower anyway.

Another calorie counter to be here. Going to use mfp and try to keep below 1200 calories. I have awful eating habits. I tend to skip breakfast and then am starving by lunchtime so eat loads of quick, easy crap. Lots of bread, crisps and biscuits and far too many takeaways.

Me too, can I join?! I'm 5ft 6 1/2 and weigh 12 stone. It's the heaviest I've been and really want to get down to 10 stone. I'm considering the couch to 5k but hate running so may just take up brisk walking instead.

Yep, I'm in. 5ft 4 and pushing 15st Blush. Would like to get rid of 2 stone by the summer so I can keep up with the DC and not feel awful in my clothes.

Fyaral - I don't know how anyone manages exercise on 1000 cals, how do you do it?

I love my workouts but 1200 is an absolute minimum for me and ideally I like 1400 on a workout day.

Hello I'd like to join. 5'8" and think I'm about 12/12. I'd like to be 10/10! But at least 11 something again! I was very successful on Low Carb but haven't done it properly for about a year and with back problems meaning exercise is difficult and being 46 and hitting peri-menopause, getting the weight off is a lot harder this time round.

I try and eat before exercise. Yesterday I had breakfast of two crumpets at 11.30 then went to fitness class. Went to an appointment then went swimming. Slowish breaststroke for an hour. Then had spicy wedges when I got home and a couple of sugar free jelly pots. My trick is to start eating as late as possible.

Did nothing today but didn't eat much either. Maybe 900 cals?

Had pizza hut on Thursday though so still making up those calories.

I sometimes have a late night snack of one slice of wholemeal toast with some melted camembert.

Fyaral, I'm curious - are your calories mostly from carbs?

I also find it much easier if I start eating later in the day - another reason I love work at home days. I don't really like eating breakfast at work and I end up eating at home before I leave and then I feel like I've set myself up to eat all day....argh!

I'd like to join too please. I'm 5'1 and 13st. Going on holiday in May and any loss would be greatly appreciated! I've cut white carbs before which does work for me so will give that a go again.

Me too please, I need to lose 2 stone so that I don't feel awful yet again this summer. 5ft 7 and 13 stone. (Crikey) I'm a bit of a 2 week wonder, so hope this will keep me on track until I see and feel the difference. I keep trying to focus on the 'losing weight is hard, being fat is hard - choose your 'hard' mantra.
But then my undoing is when I see the chocolate/wine/delicious things when I seem to have zero will power and foolishly think I deserve an evening treat Hmm crazy self sabotage

Ok just weighed myself. I'm 11st 12.5lb. I'm hoping to be 9st 12.5 by First Monday in August. I've done a click and collect shop so can't collect it until lunch time so breakfast will be limited! I'm going to have an apple and an options hot chocolate.

Morning. Just weighed in at 12 stone. Hoping to get to 10 stone by the same date as you Dalmatian. Weetabix & banana with a black coffee for breakfast. Not sure about lunch but will be having stovies made with yesterday's leftover lamb for dinner. Not a very diety dinner but I'll make my portion smaller. Smile

I have made a start !!!! breakfast porridge oats with water (skimmed milk is also great but not got any in) and blueberries with a small teaspoon of honey. weighed in this morning ay 12.13 st . so unhappy, its got to go. Good luck every one . I think if we can be open about what we eat then maybe we will see for ourselves where we are going wrong. I am going to "eat clean" where I can and cut out the cakes, choc, crisps , biscuits etc. I hope posting this will make me stay "ON IT"!!! G

This thread has made me feel a bit better - glad I'm not alone. 5' 2" and about 12st (scared to weigh myself)

Put about 1 and half/2 stone on in last 18 months. Desperate to shift it nothing fits and my tits are enormous!

Well i swerved the Easter egg chocolate this morning so that's a good start! My plan is 5:2 and not eating choc/cheese/pesto/wine until I hit the magic 10 st number...

My first weigh in - thought I was 10stone but im actually 10st 3.5lbs Hmm

Today it starts- have set MFP to 1200 cals- will check in later with my progress. Also plan to run 5k (if it stops raining......)

So 10st 3.5lb today.......I want this shifted by Christmas.

Ok. Weighed in at 13st 5. Going the mfp route, sticking to around 1200 a day. Restarting the C25K (I always give up at week3 ). Need to seriously tackle my diet coke addiction too as I'm sure it actually makes things worse. Off to see what we actually have in for breakfast as we need to.do a big shop today.

Yes I eat a lot of carbs but mostly broen bread/rice/pasta. Try to keep the carb part of the meal smallish but can't give it up.

Weighed myself this morning and still 12st. However have not pooed for a few days so expect to see a loss after that. Is very normal for me. Have very slow digestion.

Morning all, weighing in here at 13st 2, want to be at least 11st by that first Monday in August. That's 18 weeks away, is that right? So for me a 1-2lb loss each week (hoping for 2lb more often) would be a reasonable goal. Good luck everyone, we can do this!

2 boiled eggs, handful of walnuts and Brazil nuts and some prunes for breakfast. I find if I have nuts they keep me going for hours and I don't think about having toast mid morning.
