Start as you mean to go on. I substituted my usual large latte for a small white americano, the lady at my train station coffee shop seemed most puzzled and asked me if I was sure?! That's got to help a little bit right?

lorelei If only I could be as witty and dry as Douglas!

Right, so the damage isn't quite as bad as I'd feared. But only just!

Weigh in: 11st 6lb
Lbs lost this week: 0
Lbs lost overall: 0
Goal weight: 10st
Age: 32
Height: 5'5"
BMI: 26.6
Motivation: Holiday early June, bridesmaid end of Aug, and I just want to not feel flabby and like I'm getting bigger and bigger!

This is my MFP chart, depressing! The high peak on the left is a week after having my DD. 6 years ago!

Can I join? I'm 5 ft 2, weigh 10 St 6 and want to be under 9. For first time in 20 years.

I'm using MFP but can anyone tell me what slimming world food choices are? And what is a green day and a red day?

I've tried WW and it didn't work at all for me but I've heard some of the slimming world concepts are good?

Oh crap. My subtle name change only works if I remember to do it every time! I'm FirstOfficerDouglasRichardson and Snoopadoop - from now on I will try to stick to FODR!

Morning! duplodancer we have the same stats! Ww worked for me to lose my weight originally but the new plan introduced late last year is awful, I gained weight with it Confused also tried slimming world but I seem to have a major problem with portion sizing which is why I sent think it works for me.

After joining the thread Sunday I weighed In today havegainedtwopoundsintwodays

weigh in : 10 st 6lb
Llbs lost this week : 0
Llbs lost overall : 0
goal : 8st 10lbs
age : 33
height : 5ft 2
bmi : 26.7

Motivation, I weighed nearly 13 stone 4 years ago got down to goal and it's crept on this last year through emotional eating. The only time I felt good about myself was at this weight, I'm sick of weighing baggy jumpers and leggings with a wardrobe of gorgeous clothes.

will be doing it by using my fitbit and trying to reduce/cut out carbs!

Duplodancer - I also found SW gives my licence to eat huge amounts, and my stomach is like a bottomless pit! I definitely need to control portion sizes.

I apologise to anyone who I've added on MFP already, I promise my usual breakfast when trying to lose weight isn't crunchy nut cornflakes, but I haven't been shopping yet

I'd like to join! I'm also on MFP, but lost a bit of motivation last week. I had lost about 10 pounds, then put a couple back on. I've been a bit dehydrated, so hopefully it's just water weight...

Duplodancer and hello kitten we have similar stats!interesting how youre both going for below 9st! I might update my goal when I get down to 9.7, I've never experienced being below 9st since adulthood! Last time I was 9.7 I felt tiny, I'm always surprised how low my bmi healthy range goes! At least i realise it is possible now!

Are you on MFP soakedinbleach?
Actually I'd be very happy with 9 stone 7 so maybe I should aim for that first!

Today has been ok-ish, but eating food that's in the house as I still haven't been shopping. Under MFP cals, at least.

And definitely been more active - actually hit 10,000 steps today - for the third time since I got the tracker mid-Dec BlushI find being active much easier in the holidays, but eating healthily harder as we're out and about more.

Are there any full time working mums who'd like to share their top tips? Grin

soaked and duplo I'd settle for 9st 3lb if I was toned Grin and yes I have my fitness pal just need to download app to new phone and try to remember login! I could really do with the motivation!

cocoaone I'm a full time working mum! I found planning the day before and taking all my food with me for breakfast and lunch was easier for me as out the house for 12 hours a day. When I'm being good I have protein shake for breakfast as can't stomach food in the morning and can slurp it on the commute. Lunch, salad or cous cous woth some protein thrown in and then I'd have my tea planned/prepped for when I get In.

What's MFP?
I'm cutting out sugar and having low carbs. I've managed to say no to chocolate for two days in a row now :) so feeling pleased, also feeling pretty full on this eating plan. This is going well so far but I have a long way to go. I just hope I start dropping some weight this week :)

tigerchair I love my fitbit! I'm in quite an active job and and on a very busy day can clock up 7 miles. It also encourages me to do more steps. Not worn it for a while popped it on this afternoon and clocked up over 5000 steps on my day off which isn't great but need to get in the habit of wearing it!

Im kitty2107 on mfp if anyone wants to add me.
