Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

But did you have a nice time at your friend's thankful? You can't regret a good time😁 Sod it, it was just 1 day, you can straighten that out over a couple of days.
That's great that you're back to fighting weight emz, well done! I bought the new Davina dvd and did around 25 mins of it yesterday morning, would like to get back on track with my exercise, last year when I was doing loads of exercise I was messing it up food/drink wise on the weekends. Not this year, oh no Siree, this year I'm getting to goal. Managed to stay within calories yesterday, a feat for a Friday. Got to keep it going today, might eat out tomorrow so I'll need to save my cals. Anyone up to anything nice today?

JontyDoggle37 · 23/01/2016 07:28

Morning not2b well done on staying within cals yesterday. I didn't, in sheer relief at being able to eat properly again, so im up half a pound this morning and my body feels all 'cloggy'. Oh well, stay on track today and it should clear again. Off to do the horses this morning - I haven't seen them for a week, someone else had to do them as I felt so ill, I've missed my boys!

Testarossa1 · 23/01/2016 08:31

Lost another pound this week, so now at 10st 1. Considering I pigged out on mini cheddars yesterday (bad move before weigh day!!) I'll take that pound thanks!Smile

Not2bObvious · 23/01/2016 08:42

Well done testa, getting close to the 9's. How much are you looking to lose in total?
Enjoy horsey time jonty, I hope you don't over do it, you've sounded so sick this week. Glad to hear you can eat again, sod the half a pound it was worth it I'm sure. It's one thing cutting back on food cause we want to lose weight, it's another very sad thing if we can't eat cause we're too ill. Puts it into perspective

MustBeThin · 23/01/2016 09:27

Morning all! Well done on the loss Testa glad to see you are feeling better Jonty.
Still 13st here, not budged since Tuesday, hopefully by next Tuesday I'll be in the 12's. Grin. I think I'll actually fall off the scales in shock if I see 12s 13, I'd probably feel like doing a naked dance too lol.

Emz449 · 23/01/2016 10:01

Glad to hear you're feeling better Jonty.

Another lb down this morning. That's 6lbs in less then a week which is great! I'm out this evening for a friends birthday and going for Mexican food before hand. So lots of food and drinks! Can't wait Grin

Thankfulforeveryday · 23/01/2016 10:39

I did not Yes. Just wish I'd been slightly more carefully with the few six glasses of wine and the chocolate fondant pudding which was a shocking 800 calories ShockShockShock
Have a great weekend everyone. X

Testarossa1 · 23/01/2016 14:32

Obvs I'd like to get to 9 and a half, so another 8lb to go! Have lost 4lb so far, so a third of the way so far!

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2016 06:24

Morning all (another 5am wake up...yawn) Finished yesterday on 1800 cals or so, pretty happy with that. I treated myself to a bar of chocolate last night and was close to having another but managed to talk some sense into myself, progress! Still aching from doing my dvd on Friday so at least I know I must have done some work. If it doesn't rain there's a decent walk planned, and following that a gastro pub lunch - menu looks good and saves me cooking. Tbh I don't mind the cooking, it's the endless bore of wtf to cook!
I keep meaning to ask must, how has your mfp'ing been going this week? Have you been finding it ok?

JontyDoggle37 · 24/01/2016 06:41

Morning Not2b, I was about the same yesterday. Today I want to knuckle down and come in under 1490, my allowance. I only have 3.25lbs to goal now, I really just need to get it done, then I can go shopping for clothes!
Struggling a bit with my body shape though.....arms have gone very toned and thin, legs are not far behind, but stomach is still pretty tubby (especially in comparison to the rest of me). But if I lose even more weight the rest of me will look too thin...going to consult a personal trainer I know, I don't think I can solve the stomach just with toning exercises though..

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2016 08:08

That's amazing how close you are to goal jonty How old is the baby now? Tummy will snap back I'm sure with good diet and time. Just had a gorgeous brekkie of bacon, small slice of bread and half a pancake smidge of maple syrup too Yum

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2016 08:20

Haha, just laughing at me saying about tummy and diet, then in the next breath saying I'd had this fatty/sugary breakfast! But hey it's Sunday, all last week I either didn't eat until lunch or had porridge so that's balance enough 😁

MustBeThin · 24/01/2016 10:14

Morning all. Still 13st today, bloody scales displayed 12st 13 for a second then went to 13. Boo.

Not2b do you mean the app itself or calorie counting? Apps been fine and I'm finding it all surprisingly easy so far, I think it's because I really want to lose the weight this time and as I've lost 7lb so far I'm really motivated. I only realised a couple of days ago that it's actually half of a stone gone from my body. Grin
Every morning I put whatever meals I'll be eating that day onto MFP plus my cuppa and Jaffa Cakes then I can see what calories I have left (usually 150-200 cals from my 1250) but I don't always eat anything else and if I do its a banana or yoghurt. It's a little annoying that it looks like I'll only be using 1lb a week even though I have it set to 1.5lbs and I usually eat less than 1250 cals but I'm not really doing an extra exercise yet.

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2016 12:06

I meant the calorie counting aspect of it, sounds like you're flying! You hadn't really mentioned what you were eating this week. Half a stone in around 2 weeks is excellent. You might see 1lb a week, maybe even .5 but the you'll get the odd week where it's 2/2.5! Scales have no concept of time and aren't in conversation with mfp and agreeing how much to let you lose, took me a while to accept that 😆

MustBeThin · 24/01/2016 12:42

I'm generally eating the same stuff each week at the min Smile I always go to the butchers and get the same meat each week but usually if I bought mince for example I'd make chilli or cottage pie or something else but I'm currently sticking with chilli and brown rice because I'm trying to avoid mash potato on week days. I know where I am with stuff if I have a routine. Dinner I'll either have homemade soup, poached egg on toast or tuna on a small brown breadcake. I am having my usual beef Sunday dinner today but even though I'm weighing food and having smaller portions than I would before I can't eat it all.
I did fancy a bit of cake yesterday but I don't have any in the house and I wasn't even hungry really it was a case of just fancying something stodgy and sweet while watching TV. My nightly cuppa and Jaffa Cakes feels like a luxury these days Grin I haven't had one chocolate bar.

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2016 13:06

You're doing so well must, routine is a great friend of weight loss there's no doubt on that.
I'm STARVING! Out for lunch in 20 mins, have over 5000 steps done through a huge wander through the shopping centre, we'll walk to the pub but that'll be it for today as just too tired & other half isn't that keen. Bought a fab cake to share later for dessert, I think I'm making Sunday my treat day but will only be having 2 meals so it should in theory balance out

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2016 13:07

Oh and if the scales is hovering like that you best get ready for your victory dance, the 12's are a coming 😉

Emz449 · 24/01/2016 21:49

Still hungover from last night! Been an awful day food wise, only had a pizza when I felt ok enough to eat, so much alcohol consumed! Jumped on the scales though and there hasn't been a gain which is a relief. Absolutely shattered now so going to have a massive sleep

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 24/01/2016 22:21

Ouf, ate myself stupid today, need a serious soup day to recover. I have a low level hangover now from wine this afternoon which I'm hoping doesn't wreck my already bad sleep pattern. Good night emz? Good that the scales stayed the same, I doubt mine will be as forgiving. My whole system feels clogged up, hoping to get up early to do my DVD, still achy and stiff - praying to wake up fresh and without hobbling. Won't eat until 12 tomorrow or that's my thoughts, if I wake up with a headache it could a whole nother story😣

JontyDoggle37 · 25/01/2016 07:15

Yesterday was ok for me, stayed busy all day so didn't give myself opportunities to overeat. On track for today too with all meals already planned and/or made. Not running this morning as planned as I feel exhausted, think body is still dealing with the fallout from last weeks abscess. If anyone else likes a good list to help them feel organised, found an app called Wunderlist which is excellent. You can even share lists with other people, so I created a household list, shared it with husband and you'd be amazed how much actually got done this weekend lol!

Bathsheba3 · 25/01/2016 07:47

Hi all. Nice to be back, although hanging head in shame. Back up to 12 stone 2. Things got bad last week. But stuff clearing, so able to put some positive focus back into ME, rather than everyone else & filling my void with sugary junk & wine. I had the most massive cry Saturday aftn, such a huge boo hoo, and a 2-hour nap (not intentional). Want to crawl back to bed today but won't. Dog walk with friend this morning, work a good few hours, and booked PT session this afternoon. kick up the backside Bath

You are so nearly near goal Jonty! But you are right to not go running today. You got v poorly. Yuck. And I feel for you Must - you WILL get to the 12's. It will jump a huge amount in one go, just you wait, and you'll be down to 12 stone 7 before you know. Keep strong.

Have a good day everyone!

Bathsheba3 · 25/01/2016 08:06

Vegetable juice for breakfast - done. Salmon out the freezer for lunch / dinner. Veggies located in the fridge for a big chop to roast. So far so good!

Not2bObvious · 25/01/2016 08:16

I slept til 7 this morning so no time for DVD, still feeling tired but no residual hangover from yesterday's excesses (3000 cals, disgraceful)
Jonty, glad to see you didn't run today, you'll need to rest some more to get over last week, that was some bout of sickness.
Bath you're back on track, you'll be back under 12 by next week with a few days concious and careful eating, it's just a blip and the main thing is your head is ok. Life's hard, beats us up enough without us taking a mental baseball bat to ourselves. Starving...having a coffee to distract myself, will eat in 2-3 hours

MustBeThin · 25/01/2016 08:21

Yes yes yes yes yes yes 12st 13 today Grin hoping it's not one of those yo-yo pounds like I had before when I got down to i think 13st 1 then it went back upto 13st 2 even though I'd been good. I NEED to stay in the 12's, I'm so happy. Not been in the 12's for maybe 4 years or longer. Next goal 12st 7 then I'll have lost 1 stone. Grin

Hope you're head's not too sore this morning Not2b

Might have to check that app out Jonty I love a list.

Bath only 12st 2 you can be in the 11's in no time.

Not2bObvious · 25/01/2016 08:31

👍 Must!! Told you so😉 That'll give you a great boost, keep going the way you are and no doubt you'll be 12.7 in the next few weeks.
