Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

Thanks for that jonty, I'm going to measure myself in the morning. I used to run a lot but had to stop after surgery to my pelvis. I did try again at the end of the year but it all went wrong again. I do miss it, more for the stress relief but the weight loss is a good bonus too! Hence the stone weight gain!! I may try a bit of HIIT this week if I find time can be bothered.
It's my scan results tomorrow to see if the proton beam therapy I had worked so I'm super stressed, if it's bad news in going to have a fuck it day and stuff my face!!! If it's good news I may still have a fuck it wahooo day Wink

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2016 21:35

Hoping for good news for you thankful, not surprising you're stressed. Wishing you all the best x

Doje · 19/01/2016 22:42

I never realised they did breakfasts must!

I've realised too late about crumpets.... They're just too good with butter I can't resist! Unfortunately I got a big pack with my last shop, but there's a good breakfast using them in the Hairy Dieters book that I'm going to do tomorrow for all the family so I'll use a few up!!

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 22:48

You get unlimited refills on tea/coffee too Doje

Have you tried Warburton's Giant Crumpets? 😍 Dangerous stuff, I had a couple over Christmas. They were at Asda for 50p a pack. Blush

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 22:50

Hope all goes well Thankful Flowers

JontyDoggle37 · 20/01/2016 09:26

Hello lovely ladies. I haven't been logging in as I haven't been weighing in, as I haven't been calorie counting Blush. I've had various DC situations to deal with, as well as work & the usual chores. Have resorted to carbs (and RL friends!) to get me through, but getting through I am. Head is OK, body isn't, but better for me that way round. Maybe I can start again on monday.

How are you Jonty? Antibiotics helping?
Everything crossed for you Thankful. The waiting for results is dreadful. Brew

Not2bObvious · 20/01/2016 17:37

Hi bath, good to hear your head is in the right place - the body will follow. Having a good day, didn't eat til lunchtime as busy & wasn't that hungry. Crazy hormones have subsided and feel human again, something my family are delighted with! Not sure if I'll lose this week or not but that's ok, I don't mind if it's slow as long as I'm not gaining.

Emz449 · 20/01/2016 21:58

Hope everyone's ok, seems like it's been a tough week for a lot of us Flowers

I was a pound down this morning, silver lining!

Not2bObvious · 21/01/2016 07:04

Morning all. That's great news emz that the gain is dropping off, goes to show some gains aren't temporary until we solidify them with more bad behaviour, like slashing your other 3 tires after getting a flat (saw some quote to that affect from JM, good analogy)
Scales showing 11.11.6 this morning, if that sticks for tomorrow I'll have dropped .6 since last Friday. So I need to be good today and the next few days, I need to break the gain over the weekend cycle I'm in.
Hope to see people checking in, the New Years buzz can't be wearing off yet can it 😜

JontyDoggle37 · 21/01/2016 09:16

Hello. Think I now have a tooth abscess as well as throat infection. Been ill eight days now, antibiotics doing nothing and pain is getting worse. Going to dentist this morning to get tooth checked as they give different antibiotics for teeth sometimes. After that I don't know what to do. Been up most of the night in pain. Can only eat porridge and mashed potato now. No point calorie counting at the moment!

Thankfulforeveryday · 21/01/2016 09:39

Thank you for all your well wishes guys. Good news. It completely zapped my new tumour so that's great. I've remained stable witch is reassuring, obviously I know i can never be cured but great news that the bastard isn't on the move at the moment! I'll take that!
I celebrated with a big red velvet whoopie pie from the hummingbird bakery!! So slightly loads over yesterday. Back on it today.
I did the charlotte Crosby 3 minute belly blast yesterday. Really good, supposed to be great for fat burn!
Jonty that's sounds very nasty. Definitely get back to your GP if the dentist can't help. Thanks

MustBeThin · 21/01/2016 09:50

Well done on the losses.
Get well soon Jonty hope the dentists can sort you out with some better Antibiotics. Flowers
Great news Thankful really happy for you.
Still 13st today, no losses but no gain. Smile

JontyDoggle37 · 21/01/2016 11:02

Oh Thankful I'm so thrilled for you, I've been watching out for your update. Well deserved red velvet cake!
Just had it confirmed mine is an infection under my wisdom tooth, now have 3rd set of antibiotics. Hope to god these work!

Emz449 · 21/01/2016 19:58

Happy for you thankful, it's great news Flowers

1lb down this morning which is great, the bloat from the weekend is going down nicely!

Bathsheba3 · 21/01/2016 23:01

Utter relief for you Thankful. Keep up the positive attitude, healthy eating, fun, and positive vibes. It is clearly helping, and long may it continue to do so for you.

Can't believe you have another infection Jonty. You must be v v run-down. Hope the antibiotics don't affect the rest of your body adversely. I always get v bad thrush etc on antibiotics. Keep up your yakult & / or bio-yoghurt. Can't imagine the pain - ouch. Brew

11.11.6 is amazing Not. Wish I could say the same. I daren't get on the scales. The roll has reappeared round my midriff as I am just munching / drinking my way through stuff. Amazing how quickly the body can change shape and the fat cells blow out again. My head is a bit more important at the moment, then I can worry about the body.

Not2bObvious · 22/01/2016 06:24

Delighted for you thankful, that cake sounds well deserved and utterly decadent!
Down to 11.11.2 from last Friday's 11.12.2, so 1lb (sorry I know you can all subtract - just a little note for myself😁)
Bath, I totally hear you - the weight loss can resume very easily when you're ready and we're all here to chat with you if you need to.
This has been a good week for me, having totm and managing not to lose the plot. I had 1 day of serious chomping but I drew a line under it instead of letting 1 bad day turn in a bad week. If I managed that, my next challenge is to stick to cals this weekend. I'm going to start the day with some housework (the glamour!) Busy busy so that helps. Heavens jonty, you're going through the wars, fingers crossed your antibiotics will work this time

PopcornFrenzy · 22/01/2016 06:26

Well done on everyone's losses, weigh day for me today and I've lost 2.6lbs so in 3 weeks I've lost 9.6lbs Grin

Wanted to go for a run today but my DS is poorly so will do Charlotte Crosby's DVD later.

MFP is really working for me and I'm starting to really enjoy my food now I have my portion sizes under control

Not2bObvious · 22/01/2016 06:50

Fabulous popcorn! That's amazing after 3 weeks. It's a revelation when you see that simply watching/tracking the calories paying off. Such a great feeling!

JontyDoggle37 · 22/01/2016 09:09

Well done popcorn and not2b on the losses! Well I have two bits of good news and a funny for Friday:

  1. The abscess under my wisdom tooth burst last night. Gross, but immediate pain relief. I'm still wiped out and very sore but about 95% less pain than I was in, which feels AMAZING!
  2. The silver lining of not being able to eat - I've lost weight! Down to 10st 0.75lbs! Only 2.75lbs to goal now, and only 0.75lbs until I'm back at 'wedding weight'.
And for the funny.... Husband weighed himself this morning, then marched into the kitchen "I've lost weight this week as well - I'm 7st 12!!" Cue bemused look from me (he's 5'11 and definitely nowhere near 7 stone!). "Oh hang on, that's not right" he says "I must be 12stone 7!". Bless him, he'd only just woken up Grin
Not2bObvious · 22/01/2016 10:17

The sporners would love you jonty😁 Hurrah on the pain reduction, what a relief! Nice numbers too although I'm guessing you wouldn't recommend it as weight loss method lol. Haha at your 7 stone weakling 😉

Emz449 · 22/01/2016 10:57

Well done Jonty, Not2 and Popcorn, great losses Grin

Another pound down here today which is good, 5lbs gone this week which is all of my bloating gone so very happy
