Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

No weighing or counting again today. Ended up at A&E in the night, throat infection has spread into jaw and ear and pain is ridiculous. Hoping antibiotics start to have some effect today, as husband is losing another day's pay staying home to look after baby because i'm too ill.

MustBeThin · 18/01/2016 09:14

Oh no Jonty hope you make a speedy recovery. Flowers

I'm still 13st 1 can't wait to get into the 12's.

Emz449 · 18/01/2016 09:18

Oh wow Jonty that sounds awful, I hope you feel better soon Flowers

Boyfriend goes back home today! Food has been absolutely ridiculous all week, I think I've felt full the entire time! This weekend was especially bad, Chinese Friday, pizza Saturday and Indian last night. Back on to tracking and eating healthy. I feel SO bloated and also weigh 9 stone 13! That will come down though, hoping a lot is water weight! 1300 calories today and going for a run/power walk later. I'm out at the weekend so want to try and debloat before drinking again, it's also TOTM now too. I took my last pill yesterday for at least three months and I'm interested to see what side effects there might be!

Crikey jonty, that's rough, I've found a huge improvement after 12-24 hours on Anti-b's, hopefully you're the same.
Very well done Row, that's a super loss, you must be delighted😁

Bathsheba3 · 18/01/2016 11:43

Oh dear Jonty - poor you. So sorry to hear you have been so poorly and run down. I hope the antibiotics kick in very soon, and that you start to get better.

Hope you get through the day today Emz.

Well done on the losses everyone.

I haven't got on the scales. I must stop the weekend binge-cycle Blush.

Tiredemma · 18/01/2016 11:49

Could anyone advise what they would eat on a night shift? Ive been doing really well but working nights tonight and tomorrow and tend to find myself craving in the night. Dont want to undo my good work!
any suggestions?

Not2bObvious · 18/01/2016 13:51

Have you access to a microwave tired? Omelatte can be made earlier and re-heated, scrambled eggs made fresh. Left overs, get into a habit of making extra amount with dinner that can be frozen and then taken out for iffy shift.
No microwave, plate with salad'ey stuff. I just had lettuce/tomato/pepper/onion with 50gram of Aldi egg mayo (100 cals or so) had a slice of toast with it, very tasty. I guess it's just about having lunch in the middle of the night, once you get over that it's just lunch 😁

Bathsheba3 · 18/01/2016 17:41

Tiredemma - do you like to munch / crunch? If so, carrot batons, lots of. Plus cucumber / celery too. Mini-pot hummus ? Mini babybel. Apple, cut-up all ready. Protein - sliced chicken? Home-made soup (if you have time / inclination). Some sliced lemon to go into mug with boiling water - makes change from tea. Not very inspired here, sorry.

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 07:57

Got on the scales today and I was 13st Grin I'm not certain it's here to stay because it wobbled between 31st 1 and 13st.

Emz449 · 19/01/2016 08:03

Well done mustbe! You must be happy Smile

2lbs down this morning which is great!

Thankfulforeveryday · 19/01/2016 08:25

I've not lost a single lb!!! Not one!!!!! How depressing!!!! What more do I need to do!!!!??????
I've took, body pump, combat and spinning this week too, one day I went over 1200 and I cut back the days after that. So fed up!!!! It's only week 2!!! Menopause sucks!!

Thankfulforeveryday · 19/01/2016 08:25

Oh and well done mustbethin your doing fabulous Smile

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2016 08:34

Don't be depressed must, you'll see a drop soon - it's a marathon not a race, think where you'd be if you hadn't done all that hard work. You should take your measurements and use that as an ongoing progress measure too.
Hurrah must, you could well be in the 12's by next Tuesday.

JontyDoggle37 · 19/01/2016 10:25

Thankful you've just described 3 activities that are really good at packing on lean muscle. Which weighs quite a lot. So you could be losing fat but packing on muscle at the same time. This is why I only run when I'm losing weight, then add in core strength and weights bear the end because they always slow my weight loss. Take your measurements as suggested above, bet you see a difference.

JontyDoggle37 · 19/01/2016 10:26

I'm still off plan by the way, can't even speak at the moment as mouth and throat are so swollen. Good yesterday was half a tin of spaghetti, a slice of bread soaked in soup first, and a Milky Way desert. 🙄 Bloody hope this lot of antibiotics works getting heartily sick of this now.

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 14:51

Crikey Jonty hope you feel better soon.

Had to waste 2 hours today while my dog was at the groomers, so wandered around a few shops and had a Frankie & Benny's breakfast, not sure how damaging it'll be. It was my combined breakfast/dinner and think it was called The Scrambler or something. Think it was 3 eggs scrambled with red pepper, sliced sausage, sliced mushroom, and crumbled streaky bacon with a slice of brown toast. I left out the sausage and I'd say there was probably quarter of a red pepper and maybe one strip of bacon.

I'm only having fish a veg for tea so no more than 300cals.

Never had scrambled egg with roasted red pepper before but it tasted lovely. Grin

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 18:03

Right just worked out my calories for the day fish & veg, activia yoghurt and my cuppa with jaffa cakes I'll be having later. This leaves 651 calories for my Frankie & Benny's breakfast. Do you think I've stayed withing my calories or gone over a little?

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2016 19:23

I would say you're within your cals must, I wouldn't be too worried.
Me on the other hand am a one woman eating machine today. I've taken the pill back to back for 3 months so decided to take the week off it and it's like I'm on a massive food hunt! I'm scared to put it all down 😣 My only victory was I managed to resist buying a bottle of wine - I've got to get a grip! Anyone got one going spare???

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 19:54

Oh no Not2b I know the feeling. I'm on my week off the pill and I usually go on a binging rampage, I haven't been too bad so far (touch wood) but I've been desperate for some hot chocolate. I have some Whittards in the cupboard in 4 flavours I think (got them for my birthday last year) and I really want a drink but I'm not going to have it because made with milk it'll be 197 cals. 😢 I don't really like Options hot chocolate either.

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2016 20:02

I'm a terror which is why I haven't taken a week off in 3 months - and I feel like the anti-Christ! I bought bars which I'm trying to avoid by hiding out in the bedroom, surprised the kids haven't tracked me down yet hmm maybe they are avoiding me as am cranky bag

Not2bObvious · 19/01/2016 20:03

Oooh on the hot choc, if you had an expresso cup you could make a mini hot choc with milk, prob only a third of the cals?
Sorry must, I'm like a chocolate drug pusher aren't I?

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 20:13

Omg Not2b you genius. Half the powder and milk and it's less than 100 cals. 😀 Mmmm might have to have one, not today though because I'm not sure on my calories. I just need to choose a flavour now 😄 I deffo have caramel and rocky road but I can't remember what the others are.

Tell you what I have noticed, I haven't been getting awful TOM pains like I usually do. Not sure whether it's because I'm eating better and drinking more water or whether it's coincidence.

Doje · 19/01/2016 20:46

Oh, I was just going to say have half a hot chocolate! It really hits the spot without being too many calories.

I had a crumpet as a snack today as I made one for my toddler, but then after I ate mine, is ate his because he didn't want it. Blush. It pushed me out the door to go swimming though, so I'm within my calories, phew!

Must what's in a Frankie & Bennys breakfast?! I need to know!

MustBeThin · 19/01/2016 21:07

I'm love a crumpets Doje but I tend to avoid them because I use way too much butter. Blush

Frankie & Benny's is a restaurant chain. They do loads of different breakfasts but I had the Scrambler or something. 3 scrambled eggs with sliced mushrooms, sliced sausage, roasted red pepper and crumbled streaky bacon tossed in served with toast. Grin
