Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

Mmmm yes I do have a weakness for carbs. Thing is once I start on them, it's hard to stop! So no toast tomorrow!

Bathsheba3 · 14/01/2016 20:12

Hi again Smillas. Great hovering, especially with exam stress. You are committed now. 10 lbs to hit 9.5 stone. And I have 11 lbs to hit 10 stone 13. It doesn't seem that much does it, but so hard in practice, especially with this chilly weather. Carbs help comfort. Another jumper for me this evening instead!

Bathsheba3 · 15/01/2016 07:43

Knew yesterday's 1/2 lb was too good. It's back on today Wink

JontyDoggle37 · 15/01/2016 07:49

Morning. That's a shame Bath. Scales are making depressing reading for me, back up to 10st 4. Bit too much of what I fancy whilst I'll. Back on it today. It's hitting go down soon!

Not2bObvious · 15/01/2016 08:35

Down to 11.12.2 from last Friday (and yesterday's) 11.12.8 - that'll do nicely! I deserved less tbh. Feel rotten today, too much vino last night and very little sleep. When will I learn!!!!

Emz449 · 15/01/2016 13:09

The thread fell off my watched list. There has been no tracking since Monday but back to it tomorrow. I've enjoyed the time off worrying about my weight but I feel sluggish and bloated. Meal plan sorted so just need to do a big shop tomorrow after my boyfriend has gone

Weigh-in day today so been logging cals and walking at least 10k steps for 2 weeks now and am down 7lbs from 176lbs to 169lbs.

Loving this clean eating, I feel better and am able to run a bit faster, today I have just hit the 18k steps and it's only lunchtime Grin

Well done on the losses everyone

Not2bObvious · 15/01/2016 13:48

That's amazing pop! Congrats

MustBeThin · 15/01/2016 14:25

Well done Pop

Still got that extra 1lb on from somewhere when I got on the scales this morning. 😕 I'm hoping it's because it's my week off the pill and it'll be gone after maybe with an extra 1lb. Pretty disheartening when I've been below my calories but I refuse to reach for the chocolates and wallow in self pity like I normally would.

StewardsEnquiry · 15/01/2016 16:26

Hi guys. Its IMustEatMoreVeg here with a NC. Sorry I haven't been around for ages. RL stuff - you know.

Just sort of hovering at 10st4 for a few days. Going back to read a few page sand see how everyone is getting on.

Bathsheba3 · 15/01/2016 17:52

Welcome back Stewards/IMust. Nice to see you & have you back on board. 10 st 4 sounds pretty damn good to me.

Great loss popcorn - and all fit too with the walking & running.

Tissues and a Brew for when your boyfriend departs tomorrow Emz. That will be really tough for you both.

I joined-up at Costco today. OMG. What was I thinking. Apart from the biggest job-load of fruit and veg ever (SO cheap), the cakes. OMG the cakes. Enormous. I am now fantasising over the size of the carrot cake. I did buy an industrial size lemon drizzle. Actually didn't taste as good as it looked (industrially made to). Lets hope I have had my fill now only 3 slices and satisfied my taste buds to leave the rest to my family WinkWink. Oh - and I should confess about the marshmallows too. Each one the size of an apple. Bought for DS's b'day party, but had to have a pre-taste Blush.

Not2bObvious · 15/01/2016 18:28

Hi imust/stew, that'll take a bit of getting used to! Hope RL is going ok. I've been very eatey today, the usual when I'm under the weather aka hungover Have to knock the excessive drinking on the head, it wasn't like I drank gallons but close to a bottle of wine was sunk and I feel soo rough. Coupled with being woken by child at 2am and not getting back to sleep has made for a long & painful day. Anyway enough moaning, I'll be brand new after a sleep tonight and tomorrow I'm going to be a model mfp'er

StewardsEnquiry · 16/01/2016 07:54

I'm back to my pre Xmas low weight of just under 10st 3. So happy and now I feel like I am done with 'repairing' the binging before Xmas and can get on with losing the rest of the weight.

Not2bObvious · 16/01/2016 09:20

That's great stew, I know what you mean about feeling you've repaired the Christmas binge - I'm dying to get back to 11.9 so I can feel I'm back in the game. I'm sad that I put my weight loss back 4-5 weeks, however previous years I gained more and then took even longer to lose it. I was 11.9 on the 22nd Dec, I was 11.12.2 yesterday. 3.2 pound to go!

StewardsEnquiry · 16/01/2016 09:35

3lb isn't much Not2. The stupidest thing about my gain is it wasn't even Christmas that caused it. I had a massive few binges BEFORE Christmas. Sigh. Anyway never mind.

MustBeThin · 16/01/2016 09:39

Well done Stew

Still got that bloody 1lb back on 😤 it's been there since Thursday and I've been eating between 1000-1100 calories a day and it's not buggering off. So annoying. I do feel mega bloated though, I just hope by the time my TOM is over I'm lose that 1lb and an extra 1lb so I'm bang on 13st.

How does TOM reflect on the scales with everyone else? Do you gain and lose it after or stay the same throughout?

Not2bObvious · 16/01/2016 17:32

It's 3 pound now stew, it was 8 for a few days (the shameful shame!!) I put that all on in 10 days, and I'm about 10 days trying to shift it. I had done so well, coming up to Christmas I was on fire (in my head) even Christmas itself and days after, not too crazy, had a gain of 5 pound which was probably only 3 really taking bloat into account - then WHAM plot lost, boxes of chocolates/bags & bags of crisps/nuts/wine saw another 3lb on and the 5 solidified into a solid 8. Roll on 11.9 again
I suffer with fluid etc retention during totm must, it'll all right itself I'm sure. You had dropped 6lb wasn't it in less than a week? Don't worry that 1lb and probably more will drop off in another week. Repeating advice here about no starving yourself, if you're not losing on 1000-1100 you'll get too hungry & frustrated. No need to eat so low all
the time.

JontyDoggle37 · 17/01/2016 08:16

Morning. Not weighed for two days. Still unwell, off to put of hours doc in a bit as throat and mouth completely swollen up and infected I think. Diet has not been at the forefront of my mind..

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2016 09:12

Ouch jonty, that sounds awful - I wouldn't be concerned with weight right now, just focus on whatever makes you feel betterFlowers
I don't often weigh in on a weekend but I wanted to see how it was going, Tuesday's my official post weekend WI. I'm up 1lb from 11.12.2 to 11.13.2 but I haven't had a proper...ahem...motion in 2 days so I'm not overly concerned. If I can control myself today & do a soup day tomorrow Tuesday's WI should be ok. Doing a big walk in an hour or so and another later this afternoon. Ordered the new Davina dvd so looking forward to that. I feel flabby, need toning

MustBeThin · 17/01/2016 10:08

Get well soon Jonty

You're brave Not2b going for a walk in this Grin I opened my bedroom curtains this morning and saw a someone out for a run 0 degrees in the snow. I had a shower and changed my pj's instead. Lol.

I got on the scales this morning and that pesky 1lb had vanished, Grin hopefully it'll stay gone now. I ate a bit more yesterday too, I allowed myself a couple of my chocs last night to get my calories up to 1200.

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2016 12:28

Hurrah must! Delighted for you. No snow where I am, cool'ish but dry. I'm knackered now though, 11,000+ steps. I'm not feeling like doing another 2 x 30 mins walk but I promised my daughter we'd go somewhere and I'm making a special effort to get both of them to walk more (pref without moaning...going strangely well!)
I'll get it done, I'll have a nice dinner to look forward to later as a reward. Leaving in 1.5 hours, enough time for a power nap maybe???

Testarossa1 · 17/01/2016 15:23

Have lost just a pound this week, so that's 3lb in 2 weeks, which is okay I guess! Have done lots of walking this weekend. 4 1/2 miles yesterday and 4 today, so hoping that will help shift some more weight!

Doje · 17/01/2016 16:01

Get well soon Jonty and congrats to Must and Testa!

First weigh in and I've lost some, yay! Don't have fancy scales, and can't see the numbers even with my glasses but have gone from 12st to 11 and three quarters.

I'm afraid I'll be celebrating with a take away tonight. The house seems to be more chaotic when my husband is home and I can't cope with making more mess!!

Not2bObvious · 17/01/2016 18:16

3lb in 2 weeks is very good, be happy about it. There's no just in reducing/burning 10,000+ calories.
Doje, I have a great mental image of you on the scales squinting to see the number, make sure and enjoy your takeaway. Always celebrate success (you'll know not to always celebrate with food of course 😉)
Over 16,500 steps. Pizza for dinner, light one though. A little vino, few smoked almonds, all good in my hood 😁

Rowgtfc72 · 17/01/2016 18:20

15st. That's 8lb since 1st Jan. So to celebrate I've eaten about 15000 calories this weekend. No joke.
Must try harderBlush
Hoping for under 15 next sun.
Have a good week allSmile
