Can't believe we've had to start a new thread already!

I'm on plan today and feeling good about it, this weight will go down! Still 10'13 this morning, not too disappointed. Hoping it'll go down with a good sleep or two over the weekend!

Wow girls!!! Keep going.. All good here but start three nightshifts tomorrow and I am so worried cos all I do is eat on them... Any idea for snacks... Hmm!!!

Doje · 10/01/2016 22:15

Twinkle how about chopping up cucumber, pepper, carrot and taking 100 cal's worth of hummus in a pot?

Doje · 10/01/2016 22:16

Or pickled onions! I loooove them! Might not be good if you work with others....

Doje · 10/01/2016 22:22

Oh, I also used to make banana pancakes for DS1 that tasted alright. 1 egg, 1 banana, 40g oats. Whiz together in a blender and fry for a couple of minutes either side. Made about 5 if I recollect and would have been about 70 cal's each.

11 stone 12.5, so a 1.5lb loss this week. Slightly kicking myself, as I had got down much further, but saturday night to blame Blush

But here's to a positive start for a new week.

How is everyone else? All ok at your end Jonty? You are normally up bright and breezy by now ...

JontyDoggle37 · 11/01/2016 07:28

Morning Bath well done on the loss.
1lb up back to 10st 4 here. Baby has been very unwell all weekend which has meant eating whatever whenever and bad choices as a result. Can't be helped. Hopefully he'll be feeling better if at and I can get back on track. Just been out and run 2.7 miles in the pouring rain so that's something positive done anyway.

Bathsheba3 · 11/01/2016 07:30

Oh yes, of course. Recall you were saying up all night. So sorry to hear. Hope bubba on the mend soon. Lack of sleep is so draining, and never really catches-up. Amazing that you got a run in though - utter respect Jonty. Hope you snatch a moment of down-time today for 20winks.

Loungingbutnotforlong · 11/01/2016 09:11

Hello all- 3lbs down this week, so another 3/4 to go to get to pre- Christmas weight. Went a bit wrong yesterday, but still about 2000 calories so not terrible.
Working from home today so need to keep out the kitchen! Too easy to pick. Cardio DVD later this afternoon.
Bathsheba- hope you are ok. Sounds like a stressful time- keep focussed where you can- dry January is over-rated. Everything in moderation Wink
Jonty- hope your baby feels better soon
Have a good day everyone x

IMustEatMoreVeg · 11/01/2016 09:23

I'm down another lb today so only 3/4lb to go to get back to my previous pre-Christmas lowest weight of 10st 2.8

Well done on all the losses! Flowers
And Jonty I can't believe you run on a broken nights sleep!

MustBeThin · 11/01/2016 09:33

Well done on the losses! Jonty you are superwoman.

I'm 13st 2 this morning, so bloody happy. 5lbs down in a week! Just 3lbs to go till I drop to the next stone. Grin

Bathsheba3 · 11/01/2016 09:54

Great losses everyone! 9 lbs in the last 3 posts Loungin, Imust and must. That is SERIOUSLY good work!

Not2bObvious · 11/01/2016 10:29

Morning all. Wow!! Some super losses reported, well done all. Back on track today after a greedy guts weekend. 30 mins on the exercise bike this morning, walk planned for later and today's soup day 1 of 2. Going for 3 meals instead of 2 to see how it goes, porridge for brekkie, egg mayo/ham & salad for lunch. Chilli & basil chicken for dinner, coming in around 700

Bathsheba3 · 11/01/2016 12:45

Can't stop thinking about food today. Trying to focus on work instead.

Not2bObvious · 11/01/2016 12:58

Get some water into bath, sometimes helps? And eat if you're due to eat - no starving yourself

Emz449 · 11/01/2016 13:03

Just had one of the new marks and Spencer's meals, chargrilled chicken and courgetti with creamy pesto sauce, it was only 241 calories and really nice. Would definitely recommend them, quite expensive at 3 for £10 but handy if you need a quite meal Smile

Sounds yum emz. Are you still trying to lose or are you maintaining?

Emz449 · 11/01/2016 15:41

Not too sure really Not2, struggling quite a bit with wanting to be thinner and see the scales go down but knowing that I am 'thin' now. Thought I had it sorted before Christmas and my holiday mentally, but losing that weight from when I was poisoned by pizza and spending Christmas with my family (very stressful) seems to have kick started things again.

So am armed with veggies, chicken, protein shake and bottles of water for nightshift!!!! I will conquer this nightshift issue of stuffing my face..and sitting for too long!!!! Wink

JontyDoggle37 · 11/01/2016 17:18

Well done twinkle! Having a plan and being prepared is about 80% of the success I think. Trying to urge surf here, just had a cuppa and one biccie but now feel like eating three more. Dinner is in 45 minutes I must hold out til then!

MustBeThin · 11/01/2016 17:37

😢 had some rubbish family news this afternoon, just made my tea, had one mouthfull and threw it away. Can't face eating feel sick. I've only had 510 calories for breakfast and dinner and I know I should really eat something, maybe I'll try a bit of porridge later.

MustBeThin · 11/01/2016 17:39

Oh I've actually had 405 calories, I accidentally added an extra slice of bread.

Not2bObvious · 11/01/2016 17:54

Emz - time to tread carefully here, I remember you being a bit worried this would happen, you're really good at losing weight - and that's not always a good thing. Did you say you lost another 2lb during last week? I'm so sorry to be nit picking but I'm a bit worried about you. Learning to accept the weight you are and to maintain a happy/healthy weight could be a harder lesson to learn Flowers

twinkle183 · 11/01/2016 17:55

Oh no Must hope your okay!!! We are all here if you need us... I lost my mum a month ago so know that's sickie feeling all to well but then went on to stuff my face!!! Now I am paying the price for it... Sad

Loungingbutnotforlong · 11/01/2016 18:01

Hi Emz, not to pile on the pressure but I also remember you saying that the weight loss could go too far- stress triggers are just that- to scoff or go the other way. Why not try maintaining for two weeks- let your mind and body get in synch, then you can decide what to do next Flowers

Emz449 · 11/01/2016 18:54

Hope you're ok Mustbe Flowers

I'll be ok Smile my boyfriend is arriving soon and there will definitely be no under eating while he's around, he won't have it! It's a combination of things at the moment, grandad isn't well and a very dear relative has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease, his children are so young too 5 and 7 Sad What with Tom leaving for 5 months next week its all a bit full on right now. Counting calories and losing weight is such a welcome distraction when the times right! i'm not going to let it bother me now while my oh is here, i just want to enjoy the time we have together before he leaves Smile
