Morning. Friday was completely off plan. I felt really unwell and exhausted and just ate what I needed to, to get through the day. We also had takeaway with friends that night. Yesterday was on plan for breakfast and lunch, dinner was buffet because I was running an event for my new business, and it was a 'turn up and be fed in exchange for opinions' thing. Not sure what final calorie count would have been, but as I was on the go from dawn til dusk yesterday I can't get excited about it. Back on plan today, although breakfast started with a mouthful of (skinny) popcorn from last night!

Emz449 · 08/11/2015 11:01

Morning all! Slight change of plan for me, my boyfriends mum has asked if we could meet for dinner today, she wants to give me some bits and pieces for me to take over when I go away, so heading off about 3ish. Will start the plan tomorrow as I wouldn't be able to be 100% today Smile Currently still in bed and loving it, I had the best sleep!

I did weigh myself when I popped to the loo and I was 10st 13 which is amazing considering what I've drunk and eaten over the past 8 days!

Had a lovely afternoon with the MIL and now i'm back home and making my plans for tomorrow to start the diet. I've got a caramel crisp bar for breakfast, beef noodle soup for lunch and then a cottage pie with green beans and peas. Hope i don't feel to hungry!

I hope everyone has had a good weekend!

Good luck, Emz!

Well done, Imust, brilliant achievement!

Well last week was a game of two halves, some days I was on form, checking in at around 1000 cals, other days not so good...still within step calories though. End weight 11st 1. Weekend was calorific both days though, today will be better and planning three days of around a 1000 tues-thurs. Lost my mojo a bit, I'll blame the weather and the government

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2015 14:06

No weigh in since Friday for me. Was over on cals all weekend but according to Fitbit pretty much expending what I ate. Back on track today, no junk/alcohol/eating between meals from now until Friday. Hoping to see at least .5 of a pound but secretly wanting 2lb! As long as I don't gain

IMustEatMoreVeg · 09/11/2015 16:35

Had a good weekend but no further loss yet. Having soup for dinner tonight so maybe tomorrow I will have a loss.

Good luck Emz

Emz449 · 09/11/2015 18:39

Thanks all! Today went well, tomorrow could be tricky as i'm out in the morning and afternoon with work but i have a bar that i can have for breakfast and i can get protein and salad for lunch which will be fine because it's low carb etc.

Will let you know weight loss as and when it happens!

So the weekend away saw a 2lb gain to 10.10 1/2. How can it take weeks to gain, but mere days to pile it back on! Hoping it is water weight Grin I had a soup day today.

DS wanted mince pies in the weekly shop, so now they are in the cupboard calling to me. I will resist (!) they are over 200 Calories each Shock
Hope everyone else has a good week.

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2015 20:24

Ooh lounging mince pies... I bought the mini ones from aldi, only 111 cals. Of course adding a dollop of whipped cream does nudge up the numbersBlush Soup seems to be the order of the day around here. I've had my second home made soup that consisted of a thai curry left over blended a bit with a small drop of water. Amazing! Last weeks slow cooked beef stew leftovers made into soup was really good too. What appears to be a very small portion of solid food blends into a full bowl of soup, I love it! Appeals to my frugal nature as well, no waste. Day 1 of week 2 of no eating after dinner. Going to bed really soon, seems to be the key to success on these days. Very little chance of exercise this week so relying on diet entirely, fingers x'ed. glad to hear day 1 went ok emz, how much longer till your holiday?

Emz449 · 09/11/2015 20:58

Good idea of blending leftovers Not2, i hadn't thought of that! I leave on the 27th! I can't bloody wait Grin

I have a confession to make, i bloody hate mince pies, so thats one christmas temptation i can avoid Grin i could eat a whole yule log though

Can I have a brief moment to say how i STILL can't get over the fact that i had only gained 4 pounds over the time i hadn't counted single calorie and had two very drink fuelled nights with hangover food to boot? And takeaways?! This isn't a stealth boast but I was very Shock when i saw the scales. I'm glad to be back on plan today though, i felt like crap.

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2015 21:27

Say away emz Wink The fact is if you're more good than bad, you won't put loads of weight on after a few indiscretions. It's week in/week out extras that you never compensate for that nudges the weight up gradually over time. I'd even doubt that's a true 4lb, did you honestly each 14,000 cals extra on top of your 1800 cals or so a day you could eat (your tdee if you will) I reckon you'll see the back of those 4 pounds come Friday

JontyDoggle37 · 10/11/2015 06:55

Morning all. Have not tracked properly since Friday, gained two pounds over the weekend due to eating bread (when will I learn), but a pound off that has gone again this morning. However, I did completely resist wine and in fact haven't had any for at least ten days now! Not tracking today as just so busy and can't be bothered to work it all out, but I know that yogurt and berries for breakfast, wraps for lunch and jacket potatoes for dinner is fine so not worried. Tomorrow will be an under 1200 day, to make up for weekend excesses. Has my interviews yesterday, all seemed to go well, just waiting to hear back...

IMustEatMoreVeg · 10/11/2015 10:36

Good luck with the interview feedback, Jonty.

I am also safe from mince pie temptation - I have never liked them!

Down another pound here so 10st 12 and a quarter this morning. I don't feel well enough to do any exercise so relying on diet too. I'm not planning on doing anything in particular for a couple of days though so I can keep closely on plan and stick to 1200. Have a good Tuesday everyone.

Not2bObvious · 10/11/2015 11:51

I don't know when it was I started to enjoy mince pies but I hated them for years, so be careful the longing could creep up on you Wink
Sounds like you're doing good jonty, behaving like a slim person with the eating. Good luck on the interviews, is this for a different job than the one you mentioned previously? Day 2 of week 2, all good so far, lunch and dinner planned. Should be around 1200

MajesticWhine · 10/11/2015 13:49

I don't like mince pies, Christmas pudding or Christmas cake. I'm sure I will make up the calories with something else thoughWine

JontyDoggle37 · 10/11/2015 15:29

Not2b it's the same job. It's quite a senior role so there are three rounds to go through with a total of six people!

IMustEatMoreVeg · 11/11/2015 07:54

I'm having a bit of a whoosh here. 10st 10 and a half this morning!

Not2bObvious · 11/11/2015 08:31

That's really good imust - was your goal 10 stone? I'm just about managing to keep away from the scales but I was tempted this morning. Ended yesterday on just under 1500. Getting into the swing of 3 meals a day, it's a little tricky in the evenings but I've been so tired I've been going to bed early. So I'm managing around 14 hours fasting which can't be bad? Lunch out today so light dinner on the cards.
emz? How you getting on?

IMustEatMoreVeg · 11/11/2015 09:05

Yes my final goal is 10st. To be honest though I am happy already, I am thinner than I have ever been before. I need a lot of new clothes!

Loungingbutnotforlong · 11/11/2015 10:00

Well done imust! That is fantastic that you are so close to goal! It's really inspiring hearing how much better you feel When you are not yet at goal but are getting closer.

Emz449 · 11/11/2015 10:11

Yeah all good here thanks! Not weighing myself until Monday. Had a slight blip yesterday in having lunch for a colleague who is going on maternity leave, so that wasn't too great but it could have been worse! Back to it full force today

In other news I bought a size 10 bikini and it fits and I actually look alright in it!

Well done Imust!

JontyDoggle37 · 11/11/2015 10:18

Well done Imust and Emz!
Back down to 10.9.5 here after the weekends bread/excesses, but now I have to really knuckle down to manage my weekly goal of 2lb loss by Monday. Which is hard this week as in so tired and have so much going on. A baby, a new small business and a potential new job at the same time are not to be recommended!

Bathsheba3 · 11/11/2015 11:32

Wow - everyone are doing so well! Amazing! A size 10 bikini too Emz? Go you!!! All that on your plate Jonty and a loss too? Contrats on the whoosh too Imust!

Haven't hit ANY of my Nov targets yet. Boo. Bigger stuff going on Chez Bath than me loosing a couple of lbs, & so my energies are all being diverted elsewhere. But at least I'm popping in to say hello which means the intention is there, if not any action. That surely must be a good thing?
