I NEARLY succumbed to a full fish and chip dinner after a hard day, but ended up just nicking about six of my Mums at her house and then not going to the chippie on the way home, and making ham and mushroom pasta instead. 440 calories instead of nearer 900. Phew!

Tryingno1 · 28/10/2015 19:41

Ive managed 900 today hoping I'll do same tmrw and will be 1013and a bit on Friday am?!

Bathsheba3 · 28/10/2015 22:18

Halloween Smile everyone!

JontyDoggle37 · 29/10/2015 06:27

Morning all. Still no movement downwards. Ended up having a snickers and a. Dairy milk bar last night, as I had to take my mum to A&E at 11pm after a minor surgery she had yesterday wouldn't stop bleeding, and I needed sugar to keep me awake. Mum is now fine, I ended up 600 calories up.Grin
I think maybe I need Emz usual solution of a good long sleep to bring some weight off! (But with a six month old baby I'm not going to get it!)

Tryingno1 · 29/10/2015 09:12

I've gone up a pound! 11.1 today :( not happy. I don't know why I had that binge the other day that's wots done it.
Aiming for 900 again today, def won't make the tens for tmrw :(
My own fault!

Tryingno1 · 29/10/2015 09:16

Hope ur mum is OK jonty! X

JontyDoggle37 · 29/10/2015 11:53

Trying it might just be bloat, don't lose hope for tomorrow! My mum is much better now thanks, she's on Warfarin so any type of surgery results in lots of blood unfortunately..

Emz449 · 29/10/2015 13:04

Hope your mum is ok too Jonty!

Stay the same here today, did an 800 calorie day yesterday so a bit grumpy about it ha.

Today however is a different story and it's not pretty.... Looking at maybe 2200 at a guess? Eek! It's a friends birthday at work and there has been a lot of amazing cake and heading out for lunch shortly. Low cal day for me tomorrow!

Ha Jonty, a big sleep always seems to work well for me, I have to get up at 8 on Saturday though so I'm not sure it'll be work it's usually magic Sad

Hope your mum is better jonty!
Have stayed the same at 10.8 1/2- not bad for half te so hope I don't see a huge jump up next week.
Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with MFP? I can't get on the app and it is super slow on the laptop.

JontyDoggle37 · 29/10/2015 19:16

CRASH.
(That's the sound of me falling off the wagon into a big puddle of food)
It turns out only 3.5hours sleep is not conducive to staying on plan. Ended up having two slices of toast with my lunchtime soup as just so damn hungry, then popped into town and felt knackered and hungry again so had a coffee and half a muffin (it was rubbish). Then DH said lets go out to dinner, so antipasti starter and all of a large pizza, plus a small glass of wine has gone down my neck.
Tomorrow I shall clamber back up the steps into the drivers seat of the Weight Loss Wagon, but for now I shall lay in a heap at the bottom, clutching my overfull stomach and mumbling to myself.....Grin

Emz449 · 29/10/2015 19:35

Sounds like it was needed Jonty!

I've been awful today, homemade Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle and chocolate along with a carvery lunch!! I haven't eaten this evening as I've been so full. Dunno what came over me today! 800 calorie day tomorrow to possibly try and get a loss for Saturday!

JontyDoggle37 · 30/10/2015 07:11

1.25lb gain, partly due to bulk of what I ate last night, and partly due to being well and truly bunged up (sorry tmi). Have never had to resort to tablets before, some fruit usually does it, but I'm buying some today. I've had no weight loss in a week, and although I've had a couple of higher days, I've had plenty of good ones and done loads of exercise this week too, so I'm hoping the being bunged up is the answer, it's so frustrating! Off for another 2.5 mile run this morning...

MilkyChops · 30/10/2015 07:43

I haven't been great really. Been eating one meal a day that isn't really great then just grazing on fruit and yogurt rather than having 3 balanced meals. Back on it today though :)

Tryingno1 · 30/10/2015 08:57

I'm partly falling off the wagon again. I'm so pissed off! I need to hop back on, and I want to every am and then I get hungry and do something stupid! Didn't even bother to weigh today !
Plan is to be mega good today, got a big meal tmrw night then good again Sunday and then nothing sweet enters my mouth for a week! I've started picking at dh sweets and biccies-well its stopping!

Bathsheba3 · 30/10/2015 09:08

Sorry to hear everyone else are struggling this week. Thought it was just me!

Food at the moment is my reward for dealing with STUFF. I need to completely change that pattern, and get exercising again. Rather than sit by the side when I took kids to the pool yesterday, I braved it. And managed 40 lengths. Admittedly I didn't get my heart-rate up that much, but I didn't stop, plus did loads of crawl. I have far more stamina than speed it seems! I stopped when a fit (Wink) bloke started swimming behind me, and I got extremely body conscious.

Enjoy your friend's birthday Emz. It is important to have fun too! And hope you "go" soon Jonty. The run may help? (hope you don't get caught out !!).

Emz449 · 30/10/2015 09:56

God knows how but I stayed the same this morning, it's a blessing! Going to be on plan today and do my best tomorrow when I'm with my friends. Hopefully don't spend/drink too much!

Marking place - doing rubbish, back when head out of trough

JontyDoggle37 · 31/10/2015 07:31

Not2b don't disappear, stay on the thread we'll help you get backing track.
Well, for the first time in my life I bought some Senokot yesterday. Desired affect achieved, suffice to say, and as a result down to 10 st 12.5 as well. Only 12.5lbs to goal!
I had a good review of my diet yesterday and realised that for the last two weeks I have not been drinking enough water, nor eating enough fruit and veg, hence the problems I ran into. I have to force myself to drink water as it gets colder, and is been using up so many freezer things I hadn't included nearly as many veg as usual. So the shopping trolley yesterday was 90% fruit, veg and lean meat. Now my body is behaving again, hoping for a few more losses in the next week!

Emz449 · 31/10/2015 08:20

Congrats Jonty!

Stayed the same this morning, off to London now so will try my best to make good choices, will report back Monday!

Hope everyone has a good weekend

Well done jonty Halloween Smile I find it easier to drink water in a big 2ltr bottle - motivates you to see how much you have had during the day.
Down to 10.7.25 today- back to yoghurt for breakfast and low cal teas.
Not2b- keep going, see you soon.

Bathsheba3 · 31/10/2015 20:00

What a relief all-round Jonty - 10 st 12.5 is amazing. Keep going! And agree about drinking water too.

Well done on your loss too Loungin.

Hope everyone else doing OK. Happy Halloween Halloween Smile

JontyDoggle37 · 01/11/2015 07:18

Morning all. Looks like I'm havin a whoosh, another pound down this morning to 10.11:5.
So my goal for 1 November was supposed to be 10.9, so I haven't made that, but I did lose 6.5lbs in October so pretty good going. So i'm pushing my goal deadline out to December 19th, to make the last 11.5 loss reasonable in the time. So my goal for November is 7lbs loss. Being making some deep decisions this week that I hope will help, mainly realising that I felt ill in the morning after even one glass of wine, which means it just isn't worth it. Which makes me incredibly sad, because I love wine, and spent a long term learning about it, and learning what I like, and now it's all gone. But, my life now means I can't afford to feel like that. So, onwards and upwards. Job interview tomorrow.

JontyDoggle37 · 01/11/2015 07:22

Just realised how many times u managed to say 'so' in one paragraph. Not awake yet!
