Anyone else nearing goal and struggling a bit?

I've lost over 30 pounds since Feb, eating carefully and exercising more. I'm just within my healthy bmi but want to lose another 9 pounds or so to sit comfortably in the healthy range.

Obviously the weight's coming off more slowly now and that's fine but I am struggling to keep at it. I'm so close but yet so far!

Anyone in a similar situation?

How are you getting on letmedrivethebus?

Weigh in today, lost another 2lb :) so now at 10st 10 and a half. Only 3 and a half pounds to get to my next goal! So hoping to get there sometime next month

Hope everything's going well for you

LetMeDriveTheBus · 06/09/2015 09:09

Well done chumbler! Brilliant loss Smile.

I've lost 1/2 a pound this week which is completely undeserved but I'm thrilled with. I've really struggled this week, much more than I have any other week since I started this way of eating in Feb Confused. I think injuring myself has really had a big impact on my well being and therefore my eating. But I'm going to venture back to the gym today.

So I'm 10st 3 and 1/2 pounds. Still up from my pre-holiday weight but heading in the right direction!

Well done letmedrivethebus! Glad we are both back on track! Hope you're able to get back to normal exercise soon, definitely agree - even the smallest thing knocks me off course!

we're both back to losing weight now so here's to another successful weight loss this week :)

You're welcome here, ruros :)

A stone by Oct would be impressive! I think the few of us here have mainly shifted a fair bit and now down to losing the last of the weight which always takes so much longer!

LetMeDriveTheBus · 08/09/2015 18:41

Ah I thought that post looked suspiciously like spam.

I'm definitely feeling back "on it" this week. Managing to do my usual exercise routine, which creates a little cycle of feeling good so wanting to eat well.

Hahaha I hoped it was! Tried to be diplomatic in my reply ;)

That's great news letmedrivethebus! I will try to be spurred on by you as am full of flu so feeling sorry for myself!

LetMeDriveTheBus · 10/09/2015 19:22

Grin You were EXTREMELY diplomatic!!

So sorry you're poorly Sad. Are you being looked after?

chumbler · 10/09/2015 21:18

Oh I'm fine thanks, just extremely tired, sleeping lots, paracetamol, I'll be fine :) thank you!

LetMeDriveTheBus · 12/09/2015 07:44

How are you feeling today?

2 1/2 pounds off this morning so I'm officially back to my preholiday weight of 10 stone 1 lb. Grin horaay!!

Amazing! Well done letmedrivethebus!!

No change here... Still 10st 10 and a half... Not surprising considering I've eaten sooooo much chocolate and cake in the last week!

I'll use your success to motivate me!

chumbler · 12/09/2015 20:25

Oh and feeling much better thanks Smile

LetMeDriveTheBus · 13/09/2015 17:00

Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Chocolate and cake sounds lush!!

Hi letmedrivethebus how are you getting on?

I weighed myself on Friday and I've lost 1 and a half pounds :) :) so now at 10st 9, just 2lb to get to goal!

Have had an extremely indulgent weekend so might weigh again tomorrow to check out the damage done!

Hope you are well

LetMeDriveTheBus · 22/09/2015 09:14

Ooh well done chumbler! So close to goal now, it won't be long til you're there.

I'm very good thanks. We were away at the weekend, which was a massive eatathon with family. But I enjoyed every clotted cream covered moment! [grin!]

Back on track as soon as we got back though.

OP posts:
chumbler · 25/09/2015 07:44

Haha eatathon sounds great! Hope your week is going well letmedrivethebus. I haven't really made much effort this week so doubt I'll lose anything!

LetMeDriveTheBus · 26/09/2015 09:51

I'm pleased to have STS this week after last weekend's blow out.

Got a couple of meals out this weekend but hoping for a loss again next week.

How's you?

OP posts:
chumbler · 27/09/2015 13:58

That's good news :) I'm the same too. Hoping to get to goal sometime in October, realising the weight will take a little longer to come off now but have mainly managed to keep up my good habits with trying to reign in my sweet tooth a bit! Good luck for next week :)

LetMeDriveTheBus · 27/09/2015 16:36

Thanks! And hope your week goes well too Smile

Remind me what your goal is again? I'm aiming to get from 10 st 1 to 9 st 9. I'm giving myself until December to get there as I'm fairly happy where I am currently so I'm not working very hard at this last bit to be honest! Grin

cheapskatemum · 27/09/2015 18:10

Hi everyone, do you mind if I join you? I notice you started nearly 2 months ago, so I'm a bit late to the party (probably a bad choice of phrase), but you're exactly what I'm looking for - a group of people who have that final few pounds to lose and need motivation to make it happen, right? I'm 5' 6" and weigh 10 st 6lb. I'd love to get back to just under 10 st. As long as it starts with a 9, I don't care if it reads 9 st 13.5lb on the scales, I'll be happy.

chumbler · 27/09/2015 19:47

Hi cheapskatemum, you're very welcome here! Haha I said exactly that to my dh the other day - just want to see 9st again!

Currently 10st 9, mini goal 10st 7 which I think is achievable by Oct sometime, but eventually I'd like to be nearer 9st 7 but happy to see how it goes as I've lost all my baby weight now (yay!) and still breastfeeding so I'm just trying to eat more healthily and cut out bad habits rather than an actual diet Smile

chumbler · 27/09/2015 19:47

Dec sounds good letmedrivethebus Smile

LetMeDriveTheBus · 27/09/2015 20:36

cheap you are very welcome here Smile. We are creeping along slowly but supporting each other as we go!

Looks like we're all aiming for the 9 stone "something" bracket Grin.

OP posts:
cheapskatemum · 28/09/2015 20:07

Thank you! chumbler in my dreams will I see 9st 7 again, but wish you all the best aiming for that. I remember BFing PFB. He had colic, so I strapped him to me in one of those baby carrier things. Poor mite had biscuit crumbs in his hair most of the time as that was all I could grab for myself to eat! That was a long time ago. I have no excuse now for indulging my sweet tooth. Looking forward to Zumba tomorrow morning as it's the first Tuesday in ages I haven't had to work.

LetMeDriveTheBus · 30/09/2015 07:11

Oh dear. My plans for an amazing any weight loss this week have been scuppered by my own greed! Once again, I'll be happy with a STS by the weekend.

Oh well, back to it today Grin.

How was zumba?
