Anyone with a stone or so to lose? Fancy buddying up?

I think i would be better if i had someone i didn't want to let down!
hopped on the scales this morning and 10st1lb dead. I was about 9 stone last summer and want to get back down there! Currently struggling to get back below ten i keep stalling (and eating biblical quantities of pitta and hummus and galaxy bars... not at the same time)

I have a beach holiday coming up in 10 weeks so a few pounds gone by then would be great!!
Anyone up for buddying up with a food dairy and telling me off?

I've just burnt out my second Nutri blender in 6 weeks! Blush

Back to the shops I go.

Also just made the most delicious fat/flour/egg free crackers - perfect with a slab sliver of cheese.

1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup linseeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
3 tsp Nigella seeds
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water

Mix all together in a bowl, leave to stand for 15 mins until water is absorbed.
Spread thinly on a baking paper/tray. Score with sharp knife into biscuit sized pieces

Bake for 3 hrs at 150 degrees, turn oven off and leave in overnight.

Absolutely healthy as anything and probably zero calories.

Morning ladies so I am doing a mixture of running and arm weights at the moment. Went to PILs last night though and they have never heard of healthy food. Pretty sure dinner was about 1000 calories or something! I did go running before Confused

Anyway back to healthy food and another run tonight. My calf is getting tight which is a sign that I need to rest but I'm so desperate to drop more weight that I haven't been. Will take Thursday off

Thanks for the cracker recipe! Looks great!

Also well done on all the losses !!!

Xoticdreamz · 15/07/2015 09:19

Scales dropped 2 of the 4 Blackpool lbs .
Hopefully it will continue .
Everyone seems to be doing great !
Enjoying my first day today although loads and loads of housework .

lastqueenofscotland · 15/07/2015 12:17

Hope it all going well. Seem a but stuck on the weight at was on Sunday but it's not going up so that's the main thing!

Today food is pasta salad then I'll have a veggie and tofu stir fry with rice.

Tomorrow I'm out for lunch with a friend and managed to steer it towards somewhere that I know does healthier options instead of your usually pub fare!

Archduke thanks for the cracker recipe, I will try it.

Really bad today steak, chips, half a bottle of red wine for dinner....in my defence I had next to no sleep and building work started on our house today.

I'm seriously lacking in exercise so need to start getting out and walking more, or find a good did to do at home. Any recommendations welcome x

MegBusset · 15/07/2015 22:19

I swear by the 30 day shred, you can get it on YouTube and it only takes 28 minutes.

9st 6.5lb today
Breakfast porridge
Lunch leek & potato soup, salad
Dinner low cal fish pie and tons of veg
Snacks apple and a few grapes

Steala · 16/07/2015 05:57

I've just weighed in and I'm 10st 7. This is the lowest I have been for nearly 5 years. Thank you all for the lovely encouragement on this thread. A particular thanks to •Archduke• for picking me up when I nearly lost it a few times. I still have a way to go but when I go on holiday in 2.5 weeks, I will know that I have made an effort. Let's hope I don't blow it before then!

KillashandraRee · 16/07/2015 06:01

Well done Steala Smile

KillashandraRee · 16/07/2015 06:02

Thanks Meg I'll have a look on YouTube

Archduke · 16/07/2015 07:35

Yay Steala well done that's fabulous work! You absolute fox!

Meg thanks for the 30 day shred YouTube tip. I work full time so have zero time to exercise apart from the weekends so may try to wake up 30 mins earlier and shred my way to fitness. I am so appallingly unfit, my 7 year old beat me in a running race this morning.

I had a terrible day (foodwise) yesterday. After my nutriblender karked it I had to go without food ALL DAY - I took the kids to stay with some friends over night and we all went to the pub for dinner where I had salmon & fried pots (YUM) and bacon wrapped asparagus (YUMYUMYUM). 3 glasses of wine later we tottered home and hoed into the chocolates. First choc I've had in 6 weeks IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING.

Today better, 2 apples, 1 nutribullet thing and off shortly to the shops to make healthy choices for dinner - may do salmon again? Or rice and something??

Keep on trucking ladies.

EllaBella1 · 16/07/2015 08:41

Morning ladies! Lots of running this week but rest day today. Went out for lunch yesterday and had a chicken wrap and a small portion of fries. Tasted soooo good . As it wasn't the best I had homemade soup for dinner so I think that balances it up!!

DrexelG · 16/07/2015 12:06

Hi girls, thanks for the kind thoughts. I'm still feeling rough. Living on dry toast and sweet potato at the moment. Lost 7lbs since Monday. Would not recommend this as a way of losing it lol. Got to go for this hen do weekend tomorrow. Hope that I perk up or I will spend the whole weekend in bed sleeping!

You all sound like you are doing great. Keep up the good work!

TiredAssShowgirl · 16/07/2015 18:05

Afternoon all! Been mentally busy at work this week, and the coffee machine keeps breaking - it is a miracle no one has died!

Down to 9 st 6 today which is gooood Grin! Was on a training course yesterday so had sandwich platters for lunch, i always go overboard on them but I did avoid the brownies i have one in my handbag for an emergency

Had a few good days on food front, stayed well under, feeling positive. However, not feeling thinner -I have a horrible feeling i will have to start doing some exercise took me 4 attempts to even spell that right Blush

MegBusset · 16/07/2015 21:30

I'm officially in holiday mode now so going to relax a little and report back after my trip! I'm 9st 6lb now, if I can stay under 9st 8lb by the time I get back I'll be happy. Keep up the good work everyone:)

Xoticdreamz · 17/07/2015 07:50

Back down to 8 stone 9lb . Working so much extra shifts at the moment for extra spending money for my holiday .
Well done tired ass / steala and everyone else that's list . Keep going arch and I hope you are starting to feel better Drexel .
Enjoy holiday mode Meg !

Xoticdreamz · 17/07/2015 07:51

My god , can tell that was written on the bus to work ! Apologies for the spelling / wrong words.

Archduke · 17/07/2015 12:00

Well done Xotic, fantastic work.

Enjoy your holiday Meg, hope you're off somewhere lovely.

I'm feeling fed up, I need to get my mojo back. I seem to be sitting at 59.8kg and not shifting weight at all.

Today I've had a juice for lunch as per, then seed crackers and cheese when I got in from work, then lasagna, then 4 choc buttons, then another seed cracker and some raisins. Oh and some nuts. I'm craving sugary things and got that bottomless pit hunger thing, I'm stuffed at the moment but feel like I need to keep eating.

Must stop stuffing myself and focus on my goals (yawn).

Do you think my static weight loss is to do with me eating too much (no shit Sherlock) or no exercise or just one of those things and it will all fall off next week . . .

MegBusset · 17/07/2015 13:03

I know they say weight loss is much more about diet than exercise, but for me, if I don't exercise I don't lose weight. I find regular exercising makes me less hungry somehow - unless I do loads of cardio (I used to run regularly but was starving all the time!)

I'm off to Wales so hoping for some nice walks, though the forecast is a bit wet!

lastqueenofscotland · 17/07/2015 14:00

Meg I've only run twice this week and crept up a lb!!
I eat less after running as I get a bit of runners tum and feel a bit ew.

OP posts:
PointyBirds · 17/07/2015 14:24

Whenever I get into exercising regularly my diet improves as I feel less sluggish and crave less sugar, and also, as I feel fitter I want to put better fuel into my body, iyswim.

However, I had been going to the gym regularly for ages and not lost a pound, personally I only lose weight when I'm paying really close attention to what I'm eating.

I was 64.5kg at the gym this morning, 10st2 - I'm only a couple of pounds away! :) But, I've been making cakes for dd's end of year party this afternoon and I've never been able to resist chef's perks and have eaten far too much chocolate buttercream icing and now I feel ill. My tolerance for sugar has dropped loads! Which is a good thing I suppose...

Also got people round for dinner tomorrow night, so sticking at 10st2 might be difficult. Going to try to have a 'good' weekend over all.

lastqueenofscotland · 17/07/2015 17:46

Pointy I definately crave sugar less when running a lot!
I've never really thought about it but how I've eaten today compared to last week is actually mad

Hi gals

After my depressed Friday night in shouting at the children, I've woken up feeling more positive. Have just done a good 10km walk with the dog now sitting down for a cup of herbal tea before taking the dds to their second game of netball for the day.

It's gloriously sunny today after what feels like weeks of freezing cold and wet weather (well freezing cold for here). I really need to build some exercise into my week, I feel so good just walking, my problem is getting up early in the dark cold weather or walking in the dark cold evening, just hate it. Maybe I should take my trainers to work and do a 30 min daily walk at work.

Well done banging only 5lb to go is excellent. You can knock that off by mid-Aug.

Mediumred · 18/07/2015 10:16

Arghh!! Hi everyone, sorry not posted for a few days but I was waiting for weigh day (just weigh weekly) and I've put on 3 1/2 pounds!!!!! Back up to 9 9 stone 12.5.

It is my period and I've allowed myself a few treats (had choc biscuit at work on Thursday night and small slice of cake last night, er there was also moderate boozing on tue and wed ... Actually adding it all up sounds bad but I've exercised a lot, had v intense gym session ydy and then must have cycled nearly 30k over the course of the day.)

It's only two weeks til my hol and I am feeling a lot more toned but it's blimmin depressing.might go for a run or gym sesh now and clear my head.

Well done all banging, pointy, tired, xotic, steala and all other losers. Guess to everyone else we just have to get back on the horse ( or scales Smile)
