bugger bugger bugger. just ate a whole packet of biscuits. someone put them out at work. I'm stressed/deadline etc. Sad

lemonstartree · 29/06/2015 15:56

philomena. It happens. Don't worry too much. Just resolve to eat 'on the programme' from now ... I cheated and ate half a pizza on Friday (a REAL pizza not an exante mouthful) it was delicious but I did feel guilty ... Back on from Sat am though ...

twinkle183 · 29/06/2015 16:35

It is good to give the body a break by shaking things up!!! Just hop back on the wagon and refocus... Don't feel guilty guys just keep looking forward!!!! Life happens xxxx stay positive xxxx

twinkle183 · 29/06/2015 16:37

So stayed the same today, can't stay that I am not disappointed cos I am!!! I am completely gutted but I think my body has just caught up with me... Need to shake things up xxx

zeis10 · 29/06/2015 18:26

Bit weird, I regained 1 1/2 of the 2lbs that I lost the day before, after not changing for a week???? My planned day off the VLCD will be next Monday eve, as I have a birthday dinner to go to.

Wondering is there any advantage in having a few days off, to reset, or do you think it should just be the one??

OP posts:
twinkle183 · 29/06/2015 19:23

Zeis10 I am thinking of having a day off... I don't think a reset is a bad thing??? Have been thinking about it for the last couple of days but the idea of going through the whole bad head thing is putting me off!!! Hmm

PhilomenaSkunk · 29/06/2015 21:10

I had a exante bar for tea, prob didn't need it but my order just arrived.

am just ignoring biscuit gate. all day I avoided them despite all the "one won't hurt" - she insisted I take them when the meeting finished, for my dcs and as soon as I got in the car, they vanished. ffs. oh well its done. Angry

lilacblossomtime · 29/06/2015 21:15

Yes just keep going philomena I think it was right to eat the bar to get your vitamins. I think you can learn from your blip by maybe having a new strategy for stressful meetings with food.

zeis10 · 29/06/2015 21:55

Ah it happens Philomena just carry on!

OP posts:
zeis10 · 30/06/2015 09:12

Now I am 1 1/2 down again..hmmm?? Anyway that is the 5 week mark and a loss of 18 1/2 lbs. Smile

lilacblossomtime · 30/06/2015 09:15

Very good loss zeis are you going to continue with exante to lose all your weight if possible?

lemonstartree · 30/06/2015 10:16

today I am UNDER 10 stone for the first time in a LONG TIME

I have make up on and I am wearing a pretty summer dress that FITS, and high heels. I feel attractive and like its worth making an effort

I HATE being overweight - my mother has always been overweight but I just feel unattractive and "cant be bothered" - two weeks on exante today and it has made SUCH a difference :-)

keep going everyone. Its SO worth it

boxofholes · 30/06/2015 10:55

well done philomena - it's hard to keep going after a blip ... much easier to say bugger it & have another biscuit! :)

I'm having an off plan day today - going out for dinner with dh (it's incredibly rare that we get child care for all the kids so we're making the most of it!). I can stick to less than TDEE though so shouldn't gain anything.

Another pound off this morning!

great news zeis & well done lemon Grin

zeis10 · 30/06/2015 12:24

Wow Lemon well done!! Looking forward to being under 11 stone very shortly for the 1st time since 2006.

I think I am lilacblossomtime it suits me pretty well and you kind of get into a rhythm with something don't you? Gonna take a break of, I think, 2 days next week...eat some stuff I have been wanting (not desperate for, but looking forward to), have a nice glass of wine, then hopefully keep going until school hols and whenever we take off on our camping trip. Smile

wow! well done lemon and Zeis

how is everyone in the heat? I feel pretty rubbish but I think its just the shock of no carbs after my sugary blowout

zeis10 · 30/06/2015 19:16

Well I am afraid to say I have developed a bit of a diet coke habit..that does help in the heat. Have had at least one each day pretty much since the beginning...but I find it is just another this that keeps me going. Really need to cut down sometime soon! has anyone tried that cordial from Exante? I forgot to order it last time..might be good with some fizzy water maybe. Smile

OP posts:
lemonstartree · 30/06/2015 20:23

i have a REALLY bad coke zero habit .. probably 2 L a day .. my weight loss hasn't slowed so I dont care !

Have totally lost my appetite in the heat. Just cant be bothered to eat

and I have cheated with a few glasses of wine...

zeis10 · 30/06/2015 20:37

2 litres a day Lemon?? I am drinking 2-4 cans...makes me feel better!

Hi everyone, sorry for not posting recently, I'm still on plan don't worry :) Hope everyone is getting on okay?

I've weighed in today and have lost 2.6 lbs so I'm down 13 lbs in 2 weeks Grin Would have loved an extra pound off so I'd have lost a stone, but I should get that next week hopefully :)

WisteriaRose · 01/07/2015 17:08

ThatsWotSheSaid · 01/07/2015 18:48

Well done twinkle and wisteria :0)
I felt really bad in the heat today. I don't know if it's the diet or just that I hate the heat.
I went clothes shopping the other day and it felt really good to not be squeezing everything on. I was wearing a 16/18 but really that's because most shops don't go higher so I just found loose fitting clothes in those sizes. Now I'm easily fitting into 16's and i feel better about how they look on me. I even bought a summer dress in 'one size fits all' from a shop I walk past all the time but have never been in because I assumed I was too fat for everything. Happy days. :0)
