Hello everyone. I am awaiting my exante pack which they seem to have had a run on because it should have got here last Friday and is still processing. Grrrr. So annoying when you are wanting to crack on.
I have an operation coming up and want to shift a significant amount of puffage beforehand. Dr has told me to up my steps to 15,000 a day too.
Waiting on my pedometer coming through for that but feel I may be in for a shock
. Still ........I have ordered a pair of scarlet Fly 'walking' shoes to cheer things along
I have done Exante before and it works brilliantly. I know this sounds weird but I found that when I lost a lot of weight a couple of years ago I was actually a bit scared of being 'thin' as I never have been in my adult life. I was completely out of my comfort zone. That was really unexpected to be honest and is probably indicative of how fast the change was. At the moment I am an apple size 16-18 and want to get down to a comfortable twelve. I have that sort of frame that gets stick thin in the arms and legs before anything seems to shift from around the middle so soon resemble a fat pigeon.
I find giving up diet Pepsi the hardest thing on this diet though. With respect to products the ones I wouldn't have again-
Any of the soups. Without exception gag-worthy. They did this spag carb dish that was revolting too. Most of the savoury is an avoid for me to be honest apart from the shepherds pie and curry.
My favs of old were the porridge, shakes ( although that raspberry and lemon concoction did make me heave) and the choc/orange bars. The choc one could do with a rethink mind as it really is unlike any chocolate I have ever had.
Does anyone find the bars don't fill them up as much as the shakes do? In preparation I have drastically cut back on calories and have upped my water intake so it hopefully it won't be so much of a shock to the system.
