First weigh in done... It looks like something between 12-13lbs off which was a bit of a shock!!

twinkle183 · 22/06/2015 08:15

Fantastic result... Well done!!! Keep going xxxWink

WisteriaRose · 22/06/2015 09:21

Well done on your loss lemon, that's fab. Well done for resisting the cakes!

Well done on getting into size 16 Philomena! Have you tracked your measurements? As I find sometimes if the scales don't move, I've lost inches.

Hi spancake :) What an incredible loss, huge well done!

Well done for sticking with it over the weekend ThatsWot.

I've cheekily hopped on the scales again and I'm down 8.4lbs in 5 days! I'm so so happy with that as on any other diet (sticking to it 100%) it would take me anywhere between 8 and 16 weeks to lose that! (Thanks PCOS!)

Cannot wait until my official weigh in on Wednesday.

Feeling much better this morning. I was a bit worried last night as I was having a bit of palpitations and breathlessness, but I feel better now, fingers crossed I'll stay ok. If I get it again, I think I'll have to stop this as I don't want to wreck my health. I only want to do this for 12 weeks or less, so hopefully I'll be ok.

Think I must be in ketosis now, the headaches have gone, and I rarely feel hungry, only half hour before I'm due my next pack I think. If I do feel hungry, I have a hot juice which fills me up.

Have a great day all :)

twinkle183 · 22/06/2015 12:58

So another 2lbs off!!! Yay... Am really chuffed!! You girls having such great results.... X

lemonstartree · 22/06/2015 13:14

Wow spancake thats an awesone result ! well done for being so strict what a great reward !

Interesting Philomena that you can lose two dress sizes and yet it not show on the sacle - feels good though Im sure :-)

I have finished 6 days now, only cheat was a few glasses of prosecco on Thursday evening ( in replacement for one packet !) - in fact I only managed two packs yesterday as I just wasnt hungry all day ! I cooked for the children , cooked for a friend whose husband is ill, walked the dog for 2 hours, did all the washing, cleaned madly, and managed on one pancake and one bar!

and no alcohol. Which I really DO miss at the moment ...Still weight loss 4.5 lbs in 6 days and I hoping for a bit more tomorrow as I was constipated as hell, and now I am not! (sorry TMIBlush)

there is a leaving lunch at work today for a senior person, which means it is not a buffet, where I could get away with not eating, but a sit down. will not eat but i'm trying to think of an excuse ...

zeis10 · 22/06/2015 16:25

Philomena I sometimes find there is no movement on the scales for a good few days, then suddenly CLUNK!!! That is the sound of weight dropping off...or maybe your scales are not so good?

Pleased with myself, as I ordered some T-Shirts and I would normally take a Size Large, but now I just need the Medium Smile.

I bumped into a lady that I see sometimes dog walking and I said "You look really well, you've lost weight!" And she said, "Yes (beaming) I have lost 20lbs. I went on to say you look really good, I nearly didn't recognise you and such a nice jacket on you...you look years younger! Well that made her day! AND ladies, that will be us. Eventually, every one will notice us and how slender and fabulous we look. All of us, whether we have to lose 1 stone, or 12 stone. Let's stick to Plan A. Grin

Thats lovely zeis really well done . Its so nice when you get compliments - and its lovely to be able to give them too

I managed lunch, made some vague reference to dodgy tummy and drank loads of fizzy water whilst my colleagues tucked into spicy yummy curry, rice, naan bread and delicious things.

I don't dare 'fall off' even a little as I am afraid I will a) stall weight loss and just give up b) gain weight, feel miserable and just give up or c) just think - well I ate X so I might as well eat Y.

DP and I are going on holiday to Croatia ON OUR OWN in 33 days. I WILL have lost a stone by then.... then I will feel so much better, my clothes will fit and i will be able to sit by the pool without a complete body cover up ...

PhilomenaSkunk · 23/06/2015 09:34

wow everyone is doing so well

lemon I have lost just over a stone but that happened really fast, I haven't cheated and for over a week now, no more losses on the scales. its just bizarre. I am def shrinking...

I know it fluctuates but this just seems odd. maybe tomorrow I will mysteriously see half a stone disappear on the scales?

keep going everyone. think how much smaller we'll all be when summer finally arrives Grin

zeis10 · 23/06/2015 09:47

Philomena Have you tried another set of scales? Maybe they are stuck for some reason. Are you exercising? Building muscle?

OP posts:
ThatsWotSheSaid · 23/06/2015 10:57

Philomena - it feels very demotivating doesn't it. I put my weight into a tracker app every morning and it averages it all out on a graph. It makes me feel better that I can look back and see times where I haven't lost for 5/6 days and times where I've lost 5 pounds in 3 days. So far it has all averaged out to 3/4 pounds a week.

PhilomenaSkunk · 23/06/2015 14:37

I bought a new set...Sad
no real exercise other than walking quite a bit which I usually do..I'm going to take measurements later.

I have a very low level AF so maybe that's it? or someone is spoon feeding me sugar in my sleep....

PhilomenaSkunk · 23/06/2015 14:37

I'm in ketosis too

zeis10 · 23/06/2015 18:15

Philomena, you bought a new set today? What is an AF?

OP posts:
zeis10 · 23/06/2015 18:20

I have been wearing stretchy black yoga-style trousers for several years, as I could not bear to go shopping, as it was so depressing not being able to fit into normal sizes. Am pleased to say I am having difficulty keeping the trousers to stay up! Grin

PhilomenaSkunk · 23/06/2015 18:45

lilacblossomtime · 23/06/2015 21:13

Hi guys can I ask a question, I have been looking at the Exante site and I see it is very good value when on special offer at half price. I could afford it at this kind of price, but if it was full price it would be more difficult. Does anyone know if they have special offers on a lot or is it likely to go back up to full price again soon?

zeis10 · 23/06/2015 21:28

lilacblossomtime seems to me like Exante always have offers on..have only been at it for a few weeks though.

OP posts:
lilacblossomtime · 23/06/2015 21:43

Thanks Zeis i wondered if that was the case, but i have quite a bit of weight to lose and need to stick to my food budget.

WisteriaRose · 24/06/2015 11:49

Hi everyone, hope you're all getting on okay.

It's weigh day for me and I've lost 10.4 lbs Grin So very happy with that! Feeling great today, not hungry/dizzy/weak/tired or anything negative. So glad I stuck it out and pushed through the first few horrendous days!

zeis10 · 24/06/2015 12:20

WisteriaRose wow...well done! In how long a period of time did you lose that weight?

OP posts:
WisteriaRose · 24/06/2015 13:04

Thanks zeis, just a week! :)

ps. thanks for everyone's support last week, I wouldn't have made it through without you!

WisteriaRose · 24/06/2015 15:07

Grin It's made the first few days worth it!

lemonstartree · 24/06/2015 17:31

Wisteria that is blooming amazing !!! Well done indeed for sticking to it. Younmust be thrilled !!

I seem to have dropped 2 lbs in one day , despite consuming shed loads of vodka last night. DP convinced me that vodka and coke zero has no calories ! My foot ????. So I am a bit rough today. Still we had a lovely evening and I didn't get the alcohol munchies AND I have been cautious today ( although I feel really hungry for the first time )

lilacblossom I agree exante always have some deal or other going on !
