Have recently let half a stone creep on (reckon due to the pill) and want to lose it over the next 6 weeks!
No drastic diet plan as such as want to keep it off! Anyone want to join me in my six week journey???Grin

No I don't like milk so muesli etc isn't for me unfortunately. I'm struggling to find anything to wear today that doesn't show off my fat stomach Hmm

bangersmashandbeans · 15/04/2015 07:41

Congrats readyforsunshine! That's a great start.
Enjoy the sun today everyone, hopefully it'll inspire us through day 3!

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 15/04/2015 08:51

I stuck to my aims for yesterday - woop woop! Smile

Breakfast:2 scrambled eggs & salad leaves (kept me full till 12 amazingly)
Lunch: salmon, white rice & salad
Dinner: big bowl of brown rice, veg & tofu
Supper: popcorn
Lots coffee, water, 1 pack coconut water
5 mile run

My only regret is stuffing myself with a huge portion at dinner. Really need to learn to stop when full and not clear my plate.

What a beautiful day! Have a good one, all! Smile

Twinklestar2 · 15/04/2015 13:07

Joyce - it's still in the fridge staring at me everytime I open it!

bangersmashandbeans · 15/04/2015 13:29

Just opened the Jaffa cakes...uh oh!

SpottyTeacakes · 15/04/2015 13:36

Ah man I love Jaffa cakes I can eat a whole pack in about thirty seconds!

bangersmashandbeans · 15/04/2015 14:14

Stopped at two! That must be a record!

SpottyTeacakes · 15/04/2015 14:42

I just did some jumping on the trampoline but had to stop as my bladder control is not what it used to be....

bangersmashandbeans · 15/04/2015 14:47

Spotty that made me chuckle!
I did manage an hour in the gym earlier but wasn't very productive. About 4k run and had a stitch the whole time, 1k row, 2k cycle. Need some focus for my exercise that's for sure!

SpottyTeacakes · 15/04/2015 14:57

It's 25 degrees here so we're just pottering really. I had planned veg casserole for dinner but def don't fancy it now!

SpottyTeacakes · 15/04/2015 14:57

I think that's really good going at the gym Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 15/04/2015 18:04

Help!! The cravings are really bad, we don't have any hot chocolate and I just want to eat everything in site Shock I have so far resisted temptation

SpottyTeacakes · 15/04/2015 20:10

Ok so today:

Blueberries greek yoghurt honey
(Low sugar level so mini pack of haribo a cracker and cuppa soup)
Couscous with salad a stick of feta and olives
Halloumi and courgette skewers with a pitta bread bit of houmous and about ten chips.

Not a great day but could be worse...

Nice way to fall off though Joycey!
I've done well today but now desperate for chocolate. Want to eat one of the kids Easter eggs so badly!

bangersmashandbeans · 15/04/2015 21:40

Two more Jaffa cakes Sad

Elfontheedge · 15/04/2015 23:00

Breakfast: porridge + banana
Lunch: home made minestrone soup, a couple of rice cakes and some low fat humous
Dinner: 2 poached eggs, a crumpet and a slice of ham
Snacks of an apple, a yoghurt coated rice cake -very hard to eat just one and then a caramel digestive biscuit with my afternoon brew Blush biscuits and a brew is kind of a work ritual so hard to resist!

Did 30 lengths of the pool this evening which is really good going considering I haven't been swimming for months!

SpottyTeacakes · 16/04/2015 06:06

Caramel digestives are my favourite!

readyforsunshine · 16/04/2015 07:32

Lots of exercise from everyone, impressive. I managed a dog walk!
Managed to get through my last protein day but am so ready for veg & salad now. Out to lunch at a friends today so will have what's on offer within reason then got a tricky work day tomorrow that involves avoiding bacon rolls & cake. Desperately don't want to be back where I started by Monday so must stay strong. I'm hoping to not allow myself any deviant food until I've properly secured a 5 lb loss. Then I'll allow myself an occasional biscuit, wine, takeaway. Got to break the cycle of losing & gaining the same few lbs, have a good day everyone.

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 16/04/2015 07:40

Yesterday didn't go so well Sad..

Felt grumpy and grotty all day (totm & a cold coming on) but managed to stick it out till after dinner and then the grazing began.. Just random stuff (2 bags of pop chips, left over tofu (Confused) and chickpeas (ConfusedConfused) and loads of cocoa.

So yesterday was

5 mile run
Breakfast: Greek yoghurt, apple & muesli, coconut water
Lunch: quinoa salad, half an apple
2 small glasses of wine
Snack: beetroot crisps, sugar free ginger beer
Dinner: salmon & chickpea salad, small piece dark chocolate
And then the grazing... Bah

But it is NOT the end of the world! Back to healthy eating (and healthy mindset) today. Onwards and upwards!

bangersmashandbeans · 16/04/2015 08:19

Readyforsunshine I totally agree with the wretched cycle of losing and gaining the same four pounds, it's what I do all the time. I'm only a pound off my target weight this morning but want to get down to it and see it stay that way for at least s week before I congratulate myself otherwise it'll go straight back on.

Let's not fret too much about slip ups! Today is a new day!

SpottyTeacakes · 16/04/2015 19:48

I'm impressed with all the exercise too....ahem Blush

Greek yoghurt raspberries honey
Pasta pesto with cheese garlic bread (was at a friends!)
Veggie casserole (delicious!) with couscous and two slices of part baked bread Blush

It's not great but I keep reminding myself that it's much better than it was so that must mean something?!

bangersmashandbeans · 16/04/2015 20:37

Better is good spotty!
I went hell for leather in the gym this morning and did a tough two hours. Promptly felt absolutely dreadful and had to eat a rather large lunch!
But Malaysian Laksa noodle soup for dinner has kept me on track and I've allowed myself a glass of wine!Grin

bangersmashandbeans · 16/04/2015 21:17

Best add a bag of chocolate buttons to the wine...Blush
