Have recently let half a stone creep on (reckon due to the pill) and want to lose it over the next 6 weeks!
No drastic diet plan as such as want to keep it off! Anyone want to join me in my six week journey???Grin

That's great twinkle. Predictably I've had a bad day. Was planning a day of soup & smoothie but the hangover put paid to that. Smoothie, then first slip up bacon poached egg & toast!! Had a Thai chicken salad, nat you with nuts & cinnamon then stupidly ate with the family when I wasn't really hungry. Had chicken in a creamy sauce with rice & sweetcotn. Back to it tomorrow, has tightened my resolve against the wine at least!
Sorry about your stress funeral day, it's hard going when you want yo reach for the comfort foods.

Joycey29 · 20/04/2015 20:46

Comfort eating is difficult but if it's one day and it comforts you - then so be it!
Like others I need feedback and weight doesn't always show progress so am now keen to measure:
Waist : 33 inches
Hips : 37 inches
Thigh : 21 inches Shock

According to MFP I am very carb heavy so am aiming at more protein less carbs this week in line with their goals.
We ll see......

Flowers Bangers, I hope you are OK.

Well done everyone on the loss of lbs/inches - every little bit helps.

I had an OK food day yesterday..
Breakfast: apple & FF Greek yoghurt
Lunch:prawn mayo sandwich & soya crisps
Dinner: prawn & pasta salad, nakd bar
Supper: popcorn
Lots water, tea & coffee, 1 glass milk

Off work sick today.. Will be sat on the sofa feeling sorry for myself & can see a massive risk of grazing.. Must stick to mealtimes and comfort myself with tea and trashy magazines instead!!

Joycey29 · 21/04/2015 12:20

Morning all, sorry to hear you re off sick Penguin, I know what you mean about grazing!!
Hope you are ok Bangers after everything.
Just back from a run and about to file for divorce - think that might be worth a biscuit!!

Get well soon Penguin!

Really pleased at yesterday's menu:
Cereal and skimmed
Bacon medallions, baked beans and a sandwich thin
Beef fried rice
Popcorn and a cappucino as snacks

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 21/04/2015 14:09

Gosh, I think that's worth more than a biscuit Joycey! I hope you are OK. I have been overdosing on gummy bear style vit c tablets.. They taste so much like sweets!

bangersmashandbeans · 21/04/2015 17:06

Joycey that's got to be worth several packets. Hope you're ok.

Good day today - fruit for breakfast, only managed biscuits for lunch as meeting over ran, pasta and pesto for tea. No car today so ended up walking nearly 12k according to my watch. Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 21/04/2015 17:34

Get well soon penguin.

Joycey I think it deserves a whole packet of Jaffa cakes mmm

Right not too bad today Confused

Yoghurt blueberries honey
Packet of breakfast biscuits (9 hours between breakfast and lunch on Tuesday's so need something)
Couscous salad with chicken
Two sausages small amount of mash broccoli carrot and peas plus gravy

I've got some sugar free jelly add up which I might have later to curb my sweet craving

Elfontheedge · 21/04/2015 21:13

Ok so weekend was not too great. We went to DPs parents for a surprise birthday party so lots of buffets and nibble things (also the Fudge Kitchen in York, rude not to really). I did go for a run on Sunday morning though so keeping roughly to the exercise routine. Yesterday started off well but we were so tired that we had chippy for tea which isn't so great!
So on to today
Breakfast: banana porridge
Lunch: bean salad with reduced fat croutons and houmous
Dinner: potato salad that DP made - no idea how many calories but it was bloody lovely! Lots of grilled peppers and spinach in it but dressing was quite oily.
Snacks were grapes and a couple of little rocky road bites
I've been for a run tonight but I have problems with my ankles and knees and pain was slowing me down today Sad

Elfontheedge · 21/04/2015 21:14

Phew! That was an essay!

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 22/04/2015 09:07

Yesterday wasn't too bad all things considered (too much sugar though)

Breakfast: FF Greek yoghurt, apple, dried fruit & seeds
Lunch: tuna salad w olive oil, muller light, banana
Dinner: tuna, lentils & veg, "big bite" ice-cream (new discovery - only 87 cals!)
Supper: popcorn
Lots water, tea & coffee

Feeling better than yesterday but still not 100%. Going to stick with my usual aims today (meal-times, water etc) plus cut down on the sugary foods.

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 22/04/2015 09:23

Elf - your weekend sounded like fun! Well done on getting back on the wagon.

I have joint problems too, and find it sooo annoying & depressing when it interferes with my running... I know I could swim or bike at the gym instead but that seems like a lot of raff compared to pulling on a pair of trainers and heading out the door..

readyforsunshine · 22/04/2015 09:24

Glad you're on the mend penguin.
Joyce, admiration for sticking to healthy eating plan whilst going through a divorce. Ultimately you will feel better & stronger if you're taking care of your nutrition so good luck, hope it all goes as smoothly as poss for you.
Elf I grew up in York! Glad you had a nice time.
I'm back on track, yesterday was porridge w berries, giant ham salad, Apple, steak, baked sweet potato & salad, yog w seeds & nuts. My fat shorts were loose this am & were snug last week so progress is def being made. Have a good day all.

readyforsunshine · 22/04/2015 09:25

V impressed at 12 k bangers!!

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 22/04/2015 09:25

Raff?! Faff, obviously.

SpottyTeacakes · 22/04/2015 09:38

I don't appear to have lost and I'm not exercising (mobility issues). I still have a belly but my hip bones are back so I'm assuming I'm less bloated or something?

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 22/04/2015 10:08

Hip bones are a good sign Smile

I reckon (disclaimer - this is a theory I have pulled out of thin air) that bellies come on 3 types: bloating, fat, and slack muscles. My bloating has definitely gone down in the last 10 days, still need to lose a fair bit of fat, the muscles will require sit-ups though which I absolutely loathe!

SpottyTeacakes · 22/04/2015 11:17

I have all three of those Grin plus lumps from injections Hmm

bangersmashandbeans · 22/04/2015 13:34

My bloating was the first thing to go when I started eating better - I think it's down to stopping the wine every night and drinking loads of water. I can put on 3lbs overnight and then lose it just as fast and I know it's bloating rather than 'real fat'!

readyforsunshine · 22/04/2015 13:39

Yes me too bangers.
Tough if you can't exercise spotty. I am limited to what I can manage but find Pilates has really helped me. As I build up strength I can manage more & find the toning results good. I lack motivation though! Hip bones is a great motivator to keep you at it diet wise & after all most lbs lost are in the kitchen, exercise def helps & is obv good for us too.

bangersmashandbeans · 22/04/2015 14:55

Someone once told me weight loss is 80% diet 20% exercise so don't lose heart those that are limited in what they can do!

SpottyTeacakes · 22/04/2015 18:39

Well today went well (apart from the low sugar level resulting in four chocolate digestives and a slice of bread ffs) anyway....

One breakfast biscuit
A bowl of fresh soup and an apple
Veg and lentil casserole with quinoa and a bit of cheese grated on top
A plum

One coffee
Five glasses of squash

I really feel the need to eat a massive bar of chocolate. Would having one at the weekend undo all of my hard work?!

Twinklestar2 · 22/04/2015 20:22

Sorry for late post but yesterday was an ok day. I did eat a slice of homemade cake but I ran 4 miles Smile

Breakfast - puffed wheat and skimmed milk

Lunch - leftover chilli and brown rice with a pitta with cheese, pot of sugar free jelly and a Special K bar

Dinner - lamb kofta, falafels, jacket potato, salad

Snack - cake Smile

Ended on 37 ww points

Elfontheedge · 22/04/2015 20:54

penguin I do enjoy to swim but I get bored swimming up and down after a while and I hate having to share the pool with other people so I go for a swim every so often for a change.

Joycey29 · 22/04/2015 20:54

Good day til the last five minutes...
