Weighed-in this morning and I am now 14st 0lbs which means I am exactly halfway through my weight loss (2 stone down, 2 to go). Last weeks weigh-in was dissapointing as it was my first gain (2lbs) since doing this Shock. I was able to not lose faith though and through just carrying on I manage to lose a massive 4lbs this week Grin.

CatinSocks · 27/05/2015 16:08

Well done twinkle
Congrats on getting to the 1/2 way point club
I had a very naughty day today. Including a very creamy chicken sandwich, flapjacks and fish and chips Blush. Must do better tomorrow!

SpottyTeacakes · 28/05/2015 18:12

I might be eating more jelly babies over the next couple of weeks as I've just had my insulin pump connected Smile more chance of low sugar levels to start with. Will try my best though.

Today:

Two small slices of toast with pate

Three crackers

Honey sesame chicken with rice and prawn crackers (home made)

CatinSocks · 28/05/2015 18:25

I had a moment of weakness yesterday and went to McDonalds yeasterday for lunch with my other half. I had a Chicken McNugget Meal with coke and even went large Shock
However, after eating all of this I was not hungry for the rest of the day (though I was ver thirsty, not surprising given the amount of salt in these).
So all I had Yesterday was 3x Coffee, 2x Danish Toast & Marmalade, 1x Chicken Nugget Meal and lots of drinks of squash.
Turned out to be one of the best days I have had for calorie intake and I feel like I really treated myself.

Joycey29 · 29/05/2015 09:13

Tuesday Tips

Aldi Salmon Thai marinated fillets - sounds weird but nuke it for three minutes and it's done - fab protein for a quick meal

Semi skimmed milk drinker? Change to skimmed for hot drinks at least.... If not everything.

Baking with kids! Go mad and bake loads - you lol be so sick from tasting you won't eat any and then take them to work for other people to eat!

Green Tea - who knew it tasted ok???

Top Tip Tuesday:

  1. If you have the facilities at work and the time during lunch, don't make your lunch at home. Take the time to walk out at lunch to the shop to buy your ingredients then go back to work to make it. I find that as I get an hour for lunch, if I bring something in and eat it I spend the next 40 minutes wondering what else I can have. By going out to get the ingredients I occupy this time and also get a little exercise.
  2. If you make a change in your diet for a healthier alternative, and after 2 weeks you are still missing it, change back. Some things you can't do without and that's OK, it's all about balance and sustainability.
  3. Go on a wine/beer/whisky/gin appreciation course, whatever your favourite drink is. Lots of places run courses or tastings on these and by gaining a better understanding of the drink you will learn to savour it more, drink slower and drink less.
  4. Remember there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing. Don't let the rain put you off getting outside.

Food poisoning (although no actual vomiting just felt awful) brings me to 8 and a half stone. Won't last Grin
