Have recently let half a stone creep on (reckon due to the pill) and want to lose it over the next 6 weeks!
No drastic diet plan as such as want to keep it off! Anyone want to join me in my six week journey???Grin

Kids tea time is such a touch time for me. I often go for a low cal hot choc to stop me hoovering up their leftovers. Not a good Monday to get motivated. Did manage my ten miles though which I'm dead proud of Smile
Came home and ate a bit of cake but was starving!!

bangersmashandbeans · 18/05/2015 17:08

How's your day going ready?

readyforsunshine · 18/05/2015 21:56

Not great bangers but thanks for askingSmile
V carb heavy but apart from feeling stuffed I feel much better in myself. I think I was exhausted. Bircher muesli in fridge for tomorrow, I want to do this, I want to feel better full stop!
Well done on the 10 miles, vv impressive.

Joycey29 · 18/05/2015 22:05

Great Idea!!!

Top Tip Tuesday:

Instead of reaching for a greasy fry-up on the "morning after" take a dehydration sachet. It replaces a lot of what you are missing so stops most of the craving.

If you think you feel hungry, have a large drink and wait 10 minutes. Chances are you were just thirsty and your brain got it's signals mixed up.

Always walk or cycle for journeys under 1 mile. Child bike seats are not expensive and they can teach good balance.

Only substitute the elements you can live with sacrificing, don't go all out. It is all about small changes adding up. For example, I use low fat butter and danish bread for my toast but I have full sugar marmalade as that is the part that makes it for me. If you take away the key elements for you then you will find in next to impossible to succeed long term.

lavendersun · 19/05/2015 10:48

I am finding that combining breakfast and lunch works quite well for me on the days I am at home. I wasn't hungry earlier but have just had two scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and a piece of toast. I won't eat again until tonight, maybe an apple.

I loved the ethos of 5:2 but think I did it wrong for me (as a fainter). I am considering giving it a go again but having one of my porridge sachets made with water first thing, leaving 350 cals for dinner.

bangersmashandbeans · 19/05/2015 18:06

Having a rubbish day. Not actually eaten anything bad but feel shattered and know that as soon as DCs are in bed I'm going to cave! Wine stops me wanting chocolate so is it permitted as damage limitation?!

SpottyTeacakes · 19/05/2015 18:08

I'm exhausted today and feeling stressed. Luckily I've eaten all the chocolate now so tomorrow should be better Hmm

Joycey29 · 19/05/2015 22:37

Just had my low cal hot choc to beat the evening cravings
Bangers - wine definitely permitted

SpottyTeacakes · 20/05/2015 07:29

Right I'm back on it Blush

PLAN for today:

Blueberries raspberries yog and honey

Soup (will try not to have bread)

Couscous stuffed peppers with goats cheese (yum)

Lots of coffee and water Grin

bangersmashandbeans · 20/05/2015 12:59

So yesterday was kind of ok other than a small glass of wine. Weighed in this morning and back to 9.4 which is good.

Dry Cheerios and a banana this morning
Soup and one piece of bread for lunch
Smidgen of chocolate!
Satsuma

No exercise but did take DS swimming earlier.

readyforsunshine · 20/05/2015 13:05

I often do that too lavender. Sometimes I feel great on it, others I end up starving later & reaching for the wrong food, not sure why, maybe hormonal?
Yesterday was Bircher muesli, humour salad seeded wrap, red wine, cottage pie & veg, tropical fruit tart. Slept soo well & feel back to normal today. Maybe I had a bug or perhaps it was due to an overbusy stressful week but I had zero energy or willpower, ate crap & felt rubbish generally.
Today so far veg soup, salmon & green veg planned for tonight.
I like your Tuesday tips idea joycey, sorry not to have added one. I am going to give myself a weekly challenge. This week is to dramatically reduce my alcohol! We are out Sunday so I challenge myself to no more until then. Watch this space....!

SpottyTeacakes · 20/05/2015 18:28

Well I've eaten exactly what I planned today and nothing else. The dc have driven me mad this afternoon though I feel a hot chocolate would help but is it worth it? Hmm

nsrnewyou79 · 21/05/2015 12:57

I would like too, I need to lose a stone am currently 11.2 and want to be 10.2, am quite a healthy eater but binge when im ready......also can anyone help me to find replies to posts or find posts that i have taken part in as cant seem to find the ones i posted on last time and am new to this :) thanks peeps x

SpottyTeacakes · 21/05/2015 14:52

nsr should be on 'threads I'm on' welcome Smile

Going well today so far will update full eats later.

Did you all know tesco now sell carrot spaghetti, courgette spaghetti and cauliflower couscous? I'm going to get some and see what it's like

bangersmashandbeans · 21/05/2015 15:14

That sounds good spotty - been toying with the idea of getting a spiral thingy so might try tescos ones first

SpottyTeacakes · 21/05/2015 19:38

Me too bangers.

Right today:

Bowl of Cheerios no milk

Two cups of coffee

Couscous salad

Bacon and pea risotto. Way too much must reduce my portions made me feel ill.

Managed no snacks Smile

Tomorrow there will be cake at work so will skip lunch Grin

Joycey29 · 21/05/2015 22:27

Was doing so well but have eaten main lunch, snacked voraciously and then eaten a four course dinner!
Oops
On the plus - I didn't drink the free wine! Shock

OP posts:
bangersmashandbeans · 22/05/2015 06:20

Well done spotty and good effort on the wine Joycey!
Yesterday was a game of two halves
Morning = angelic
Evening = oops

Home made smoothie
Homemade smoked mackerel pate on toast
Pack of mini party rings
Three rich tea biscuits
Bag of crisps
Bangers and mash
Two glasses of wine
Vienetta!

I did run 10k though! It makes me hungry and the sunshine makes me want to drink wine Blush

SpottyTeacakes · 22/05/2015 06:43

Friday morning weigh in everyone?!

On my analogue scales I'm either 8st 8 or 9 can't quite tell. Still a win Smile

bangersmashandbeans · 22/05/2015 06:54

9.5 but due on so I'll take that.
Have def hit a wall though. Do you think there comes a point where unless you do something drastic your weight will plateau? I probably don't need to lose any more if I'm being 100% honest. Maybe I'm setting an I realistic goal?

bangersmashandbeans · 22/05/2015 06:55

Just looked back at my original post and my target weight was 9.6!!

CatinSocks · 22/05/2015 08:17

I have gained over a stone over the last year and calculated my BMI last week to see that I am now within the overweight category. Time for a healthy change.

So I started last week at 9.11 and this week (I weighed this morning) I am 9.8.My challenges tend to be emotional and boredom eating in the evenings once I get in after work. I also need to avoid copious amounts for biscuits/chocs collegues keep bringing in to share.

CatinSocks · 22/05/2015 08:48

Oh forgot to add my target weight is 8.3
