Does anyone with 1-2st to lose fancy buddying up?

I'm 5ft 5 and am currently 10st 6lb. My clothes are feeling tight and I have stopped wearing jeans in favour of elasticated trousers which is a slippery slope for me.

To cut a long story short, I lost 3st after my twins were born 2.5 years ago. I felt a lot happier and more confident but it's beginning to creep back on as I lost the weight during my turbulent pregnancy so never had to address my bad eating habits. It's catching up with me now and I've put a stone back on and know if I don't address the problem now, it won't be long till the other 2+st is back.

I wondered whether anyone fancied buddying up and we can give each other a nudge, check in on how each other is doing?

Filo that made me laugh a lot this morning! Glad you had a good time Grin

FiloFunky · 07/02/2015 11:34

starting weight - 11st 9lbs
weigh in today - 11st 6.5lbs
loss to date is 2.5lbs Shock Grin

That's brilliant Filo I was laughing my tits off at your pished comment Grin

Prepared to be shot down in flames but I have a week off work from the 14th & I'm going to do Jason Vales 5lb in 5 days. Now I juice veggies a lot anyway as I hate them in their full form (I know I'm weird) alongside eating normally. Couldn't do it on a work day but figured sitting round the house watching Netflix & tidying the spare my junk room I could survive on it?

I'm wavering between the fact it's a fad & the fact going without sugar (the White variety not that found in fruit) might stop me craving it so much and how much can it hurt for just 5 days? I've had longer bouts of d&v...well once I did anyway.

Any thoughts before I start?

Hi everyone, can I join in?
I suspected I'd gained a bit of weight and then took the plunge this morning and it came in at 11st, 1st more than at Xmas! I'm 5ft5 and my happy weight is 9st4. I have a conference in April so I would like to have dropped a stone by then. I'm cutting down and moving more, and fixing the wine/ chocolate in the evening.

Woahbodyforrrrm · 07/02/2015 13:52

Hi niobium it's mad how quickly the weight can come on isn't it Angry Are you going to be following any diet in particular?

Grin filo sounds like you had a good night, how's the head today? The only way I can get through a hangover is by eating my body weight in carbs, so I'm laying off the drink (except for Sunday's) for a few weeks. Yey for the weight loss, you're especially brave weighing in after a night out, well done!

heffa I haven't heard of that one before, do you just eat blended fruit/veggies for 5 days? Would be a great kick start to lose 5lb in five days, keep us posted when you start!

So I ended up having one of my massive binges last night. I was saving my weeklies points for Sunday as we are going for lunch and a fancied a glass or two of wine and some treats in the evening. But I literally ate all my leftover dailies and weeklies in the space of 1.5hrs, I'm too ashamed to tell you what I gorged on, it was sheer piggery Blush So going to have to stick to my 26 points everyday now until Wednesday, so cross with myself Angry

my head is fine! had porridge for brekkie and banana and blueberry smoothie!

Niobium · 07/02/2015 15:12

I know! I remember thinking I must lose this 1/2 stone, next thing I know it's now 1 1/2 Blush. Not following a particular diet, just aiming for fewer calories. I do use mfp but am not very conscientious.

FiloFunky · 07/02/2015 17:33

My DP makes the best diet food. All in at under 450cals. Im stuffed!

Lucky you filo !

Well I was on track for today until my mum came by and bought homemade carrot cake with her! It was a hairy bikers diet one she had made but it still comes in at over 200 calories a slice!

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 07/02/2015 19:50

Woah yes Jason Vale is a juice plan, not sure I have the willpower to stick with it for 5 days but I'll give it a go starting the 16th & let you know the results. Juices do fill me but not as much as half a chocolate gateaux Grin

The great thing about propoints is the 49 weeklies, the worst thing is they go so fast! Angry

anothernumberone · 07/02/2015 23:06

Filo what are the red things? Roasted Peppers ??? It looks yummy.

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 08/02/2015 09:09

Just 1/2lb loss for me taking me to 10st 1lb. It's getting harder the closer I get to being back at 9st something, but a loss is a loss so not all bad. There will be no Mcdonalds breakfasts next week either Grin

FiloFunky · 08/02/2015 12:03

roasted pepper and roast cherry tomatoes. it was very yummy and sweet!

FiloFunky · 08/02/2015 12:03

oh. well done heffa! so close to 9... keep going!

Ellisisland · 08/02/2015 14:16

Have been looking at my mfp diary for the last week and have realised my downfall is always snacks. So today have had a filling lunch and am drinking a pint of water whenever I want to snack. I'm not hungry it's just habit and tiredness that makes me want to snack. Will see how it goes this week. Am weighing in this Friday so will see how it goes!

Well done heffa a loss is still a loss!

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 08/02/2015 14:24

Thanks, I've just discovered egg muffins! Think I may be a bit slow to catch on to these beauties but they make a nice snack & you can add whatever you have in. Mine had ham, spring onions & some cheddar added, the OH turned his nose up when offered one but me & the dogs liked them Grin to be fair the dogs would eat anything though.

FiloFunky · 08/02/2015 18:25

How is everyone else last week looking? Heres mine

Very carb & fat heavy, only 14% protein eek! This will explain why I'm still overweight Blush

Did MFP calculate out all of your calories too. Mine are pretty high compared to the rest of you. I imagine that is because I am a fatty though.

anothernumberone · 08/02/2015 22:55

Sorry I mean your target daily calories.

Ellisisland · 09/02/2015 03:28

Here are mine. Very carb heavy as well. Need to try and address that this week.

Is it too late to join? I will weigh in today but approx 11st7 and want to be 9st10in an ideal world. I am a yo- yo dieter. I got down to 10st12 before Christmas. I'd love it if we could motivate each other.

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 09/02/2015 07:38

Another Yes MFP works out your calorie intake based on your height, weight & activity levels...mine were rubbish as I rarely exercise so I think that's why I got fewer calories Blush

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 09/02/2015 07:43

Steala It's never too late to join, it does help to have others in the same boat. Are you on MFP? A few of us are friends on there now & can track each others progress. Our names are all on this thread nearer the start.
