Does anyone with 1-2st to lose fancy buddying up?

I'm 5ft 5 and am currently 10st 6lb. My clothes are feeling tight and I have stopped wearing jeans in favour of elasticated trousers which is a slippery slope for me.

To cut a long story short, I lost 3st after my twins were born 2.5 years ago. I felt a lot happier and more confident but it's beginning to creep back on as I lost the weight during my turbulent pregnancy so never had to address my bad eating habits. It's catching up with me now and I've put a stone back on and know if I don't address the problem now, it won't be long till the other 2+st is back.

I wondered whether anyone fancied buddying up and we can give each other a nudge, check in on how each other is doing?

Yes! Finally ticked over from 12stone to 11stone 13! It's slowly coming off!

Well done flanjabelle
I've lost 2lbs since I last posted. I haven't touched the kids Easter eggs which is unheard of and I've been pretty active. Feeling positive in the lovely spring weather. 11stone 2

mamapants I'm doing the Kayla Itsines bikini body guide - it's a mix of 3 resistance workouts a week interspersed with 3 low intensity cardio sessions (I.e. A long walk). I am doing a slightly modified version by running 5-8k instead of walking and doing an hour spin class at the weekend as well. It's going well and I'm seeing a real improvement in muscle tone, however irritatingly my weight loss has plateaued. I'd really like to get down to 8.5st in an ideal world.

Oh Good God Easter has not been kind to my waistline, 3lbs up, we have been eating and drinking with Wild abandon for the last week and I moved MFP of the radar. I am back with a bang from today.

Hi everyone,
I'm late but is it ok for me to join. I am 5'2" and currently weigh 9.6st and my work clothes are getting really tight as I have gained over a stone in the last couple of years (it has crept on stealthily) I feel unfit and unhealthy.
I have started to try and eat more healthily (not going well) and exercising too (7 minute workout and jogging) The exercise part is going well so far but have only done 3 sessions. Yesterday I did 3.3km.

mamapants · 10/04/2015 11:33

Sounds interesting Amber.
I'm currently doing the couch to 5k but am improvising it a little bit.
My two recent sessions were 5 mins walking, 25 minutes running, 5 mins walk, 5 mins run. This was 5k
Followed by 3 mins run, 16 mins run, 5 mins walk, 16 mins run, 3 mins walk. Just over 5k
So a bit slow. But getting there. Need to add in a bit of core work and strength work really.
But already feel like am toning up a bit. And lost 2lbs.

I've reached 10lbs weight loss!!! I'm over the moon!

I got my first 'bloody hell you've lost weight' from someone who didn't know I have been trying yesterday. It felt really good. I feel very different in my clothes already as I'm not spilling out all over the place.

Feeling good!

How is everyone getting on. I managed to turn cookies off on my phone and suddenly I could not log in to any sites. It has takene weeks to figure out what was going on. I was too lazy to log on on the desktop too often so I am starting again today.

I'm now 10 stone 11 so 5 pounds down since I posted last about 20 days ago and a 15lbs loss since I started. I'm doing really well and feel great. Reckon I'm losing 1.5lbs a week which I suppose I can't complain about. I never feel hungry so not feeling deprived is a huge incentive.

Wow well done Iammummy that's great progress. How are you losing so much weight?
