Anyone else need to lose weight for their wedding?

I need to lose at least 2 stone by June.

Tbh I haven't done too bad over Christmas and haven't gained afaik? avoided scales.

I'm 5ft 8 and weigh just over 13 stone. Am a size 14. My stomach is my worst area, legs and arms are fine as are boobs.

I only want to get to a size 12 as don't look so good as a 10. I used to be really skinny when younger and hated it.

Anyone else need to lose weight for their wedding? I'm not even looking at dresses yet until I lose some.

Good news FSC.
I had beef & mushroom pie with loads of carrots & French beans for lunch. It is too cold for salad! Calorie wise, it probably wasn't much worse than salad as I only had one mouthful of pastry. I love pastry so am feeling very proud of myself.
I cracked this morning & had a banana.
Keep up the good work!

FreakinScaryCaaw · 27/01/2015 15:29

dancingwitch, is a banana bad? Well done with the pastry. My temptation was lush chips yesterday but I only had one from a work friend. I could've eaten lots!

Morning all! I'm about to head into a four hour meeting so I'm having my oats and coffee at my desk in an attempt to stave off hunger between now and lunch.

It's also a colleague's leaving thing tonight (mid-week and the day before payday in the longest pay month of the year - go figure) and I'd really rather not go. I'm skint, I don't drink alcohol and my boss has offered to drop me at home because it's out of my way but it means that I can't leave until she does. It would look pretty shit if I didn't go as I have a lot of time for the guy and I'm sad that he's going back to Madrid but I'm so anxious about it Sad

downstairs have you googled wedding underwear? There is loads, sure you will be able to find one.

Ok day yesterday for me including a 5 mile run.

Rest day today. Aiming for a fast day today, am def feeling trimmer and even with my period my weight has stayed the same so hoping once period has finished to see a loss on the scales.

FreakinScaryCaaw · 28/01/2015 09:53

Soon am sure you'll find something on the menu that's healthy? If you ask they'll leave things off your plate. Or is it a buffet? Just eat something before you go and drink sparkling water or something low cal.

Been good day so far.

I've been out for a walk with the dog after dropping lads at school and college. No work today so can catch up on some housework and coursework, plus do bit more exercise.

I've eaten a few cashew nuts. Still low carbing and finding it so easy. I rarely feel hungry.

Weight's going down still Smile And I look much trimmer on my waist. I've noticed more looking at old pics eek

Good luck all, we can do it.

Downstairs I bought a low back strapless bustier for trying on dresses from a Next Clearance shop. £20 down from £60 in the wonderbra range!

Want something similar for the big day with matching knickers!

I went along with my fiancé to a laser clinic last night (he's having tattoo removal) which was part of a gym so I got to watch a fitness class. No idea what it was- sort of dancing mixed aerobics (maybe Zumba?) But it looked so much fun!! Everyone was singing along and I thought I could totally do this!!

Todays menu-
B Scrambled Eggs on 1 WM Toast
L Tuna mayo salad
D Chicken Fajitas x

Hi all, hope everyone's having a good day.

This morning I weighed 11st and 1/4 of a pound (was 11st and 1/2 pound yesterday). I bought some body analyser scales two weeks ago and my weight ad body fat are slowly but surely reducing. I can't wait to see a reading that's under 11 stone.

Does anyone else weigh themselves every day? I find it motivates me, but I've heard it's better to just do it once a week.

gotredonyou · 28/01/2015 12:23

Daily weighing only motivates me when i'm continually losing but when I get a random gain after eating well/exercising it sometimes sends me off track. I try and wait till every Friday morning so I can track the downward trend.

SoonToBeMrsB · 28/01/2015 12:59

Take your spam elsewhere, Deborah...

FreakinScaryCaaw · 28/01/2015 14:54

Was it diet spam?

I think weekly is best but it's so tempting to hop on, sometimes followed by swearing Grin

I'm another almost daily weigher-inner. I need to to keep me on the straight and narrow. It is fine when I am actively dieting to only weigh in once a week but if it is a time of normal eating then I can easily put on half a stone without thinking about it.
Another good day here despite me desperately wanting chocolate (and alcohol) as DS seems to have spent the entire day tantruming over one thing or another. Chicken salad for lunch & a mid afternoon banana plus an 80 cal biscuit. That should be me done for the day & I'm off to zumba tonight which will burn a few calories.
go zumba is great fun. A dancer versio of aerobics & so really good tunes. I smile throughout the class however out of breath I am. I'm in my late 30s & just over a healthy BMI and am one of the youngest & slimmest who goes to the group I go to and i always get the giggles when we're doing "look, look, look at my body" as I just don't think it was written with us in mind!

gotredonyou · 29/01/2015 09:27

Thanks dancing sounds exactly like the class I watched so i'm definitely going to try it! I've not got any rhythm whatsoever but I'm not sure that matters. Sooo much snow here in Leeds!!

Todays menu-
B- Granola, Almond Milk & berries
L- Tuna mayo salad, grapes & nakd bar.
D- Baked Haddock, new potatoes & Veg.

Dowser · 29/01/2015 09:53

Another good menu choice got red.

Just thinking , it's about a month since a lot of us got started.

Would anyone like to post how many pounds they have lost altogether.

I haven't been weighed but was aiming for a pound a week. Seems a lot of hard work for 4 pounds but would rather it was off than on.

Especially as I haven't cheated!

gotredonyou · 29/01/2015 10:21

Thanks :) I've lost 5lbs in the last three weeks. Minus 3lbs Minus 2lbs STS and my next weigh in is tomorrow morning so i'll let you know!
