After Megglevache's inspirational thread and photos showing her FIVE STONE loss I am inspired to start yet again.

I'm not dieting. I'm just going to avoid wheat and sugar. And good waaaayyy back on wine.

So no bread, pasta, biscuits, cake, sweets, white rice etc.

Glad to see you both still here!

I have had a disgusting cold over the weekend - have been mainlining toast and honey. Finally beginning to feel back to normal today.

Have failed totally to listen to my cd. Kept forgetting to buy batteries for CD player but finally did yesterday. Tried listening to it in bed but it kept jumping. Will try putting it on my phone. Have consultation tonight. Will see how that goes. She does say it's not a quick fix and it's more about making me feel better about myself and breaking negative patterns.

I have a paul McKenna cd but never really listened to it!

WhoKnows - I agree that posting here keeps me focused.

TheRealMary - good luck with your day zero!

Right, another post to keep me going.
Yesterday I had my usual rye bread, soft cheese and boiled egg for breakfast, milky coffee for a snack mid morning. Then homemade leek and potato soup (approx one small potato's worth) with grated cheese and a fruit/veg smoothie. Dinner was a very small pizza (Chicago town) with a lot of salad. Yogurt and frozen raspberries for pudding. Snacks - pack of Wotsits and one ryvita with cheese and pickle. Not totally carb free, but fairly restrained.

I do find it really helps to prep myself a packed lunch of salad and chop up the veg for a juice every evening even when I'm nto going to work the next day so I am not tempted to grab toast.

Yesterday
Breakfast - rye bread, egg etc
Lunch - salad with homemade coleslaw and grated cheese
Snacks - one mainly veg smoothie, pack of Wotsits, one marinated herring fillet
Dinner - meatballs in tomato and pepper sauce with parmesan, cauliflower and carrots, pudding 1/3 of a Viennetta that Ocado delivered by mistake Blush
Pilates class and about 2 miles walking.

Yesterday-
Breakfast: rice cakes with cashew butter
Lunch: mashed avocado on wholemeal pitta with salad
Tea: lentil 'shepherds pie' but with thinly sliced new potatoes instead of mash
Snack: chia pudding, half a Warburtons thin with spread
20 mins of resistance band workout

Like the idea of getting back to logging so I can think of that before stuffing my face!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 19/03/2015 23:27

I don'twsnt to go back to logging on MFP as it makes me obsess about calories. Logging on here has helped focus my thoughts this week anyway. I'm clearly eating too many crisps still, that's definitely one of my worst weaknesses. My besls have been good the lastcouple of days, but still snacking too much / not the right stuff. I tried pork scratchings today (saw them get the thumbs up on a boot camp thread), but they are so salty.

Hop everyone has had a good Easter. Checking back in, haven't weighed myself this weekend as we have been away at the ils, but determined to get going again from tomorrow. i have eaten more crap carbs in the last three days than the whole rest of the year put together, the ILs have a very carb heavy diet. Also zero exercise to speak of, I need a kick start.

OK, at the start of this I was 14 stone 11, at my last weigh in I was 13stone 12.6lb. I need to get going again and I think I need some proper targets, so I am going to go for 13stone 7lb by the end of April. I might weigh myself tomorrow .

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 06/04/2015 20:47

ok, so that was better than expected, 13 stone 12.2lbs. Probably explained by the fact that although we eat crap at the ILs, I can't just grab snacks like at home. Getting a bit back to normal routines today.

Cecyhall · 06/04/2015 21:29

I haven't been able to exercise much with the kids off school but surprisingly I'm champing at the bit to get back to it, ordinarily it wouldn't cross my mind so I'll take that as a plus!

My sugar intake has gone through the roof this past week so need to tackle that. Not chocolate but hot cross buns, popcorn and stuff. The kids have got an excessive amount of eggs, I sound ungrateful but there is just too many and I'm getting so worried about how much sugar we are all having, just seeing the amount feels a bit overwhelming at the moment.

Cecyhall · 07/04/2015 09:50

Just weighed and a kilo has gone back on.

Feel ok about it, will get it off this week easily and hopefully at least another 2 by the end of the month.
