Is your DH my DP asteria?

So I'm back from work on my half day. I'm going to have a chicken and veg or sausage and veg big soup 288 calories and two slices of cheap shut bread that's the equivalent of one in calories Smile I'm waiting for DDs fish fingers and chips to cook. I normally finish off her meals as chips are my favourite! I refuse to from now on!

A beautiful French man from head office looked visibly shocked and told me id lost lots of weight. I think when I last saw him I was 70kg so his comments make me happy but I've stayed at 65kg (regardless of what I eat) basically since new yr.

I WILL be 55 when I see him again on dec 19th...

I'm clearly in a bad mood from not being able to indulge.

A girl posted a car on fb saying

Service not due until sept 2016 (only requires every 24 months or 20000 miles)

I said it'll be due as it's usually whichever comes first.

Three people have said it was obvious it'd already been serviced but not in a nice way. It's really really pissed me off Blush

Oh dear! I have been on morphine all day so feeling too sick to eat. I suggested the no sugar thing to DH and he told me to bugger off. He hates anything that is even remotely woo as his mother is a massive tree hugger. She gives herself urine enemas and eats a bowl of seeds for breakfast every morning! Hmm

McBear · 06/10/2014 14:52

A what now?

Poor thing. Doesn't sound nice at all. How long for the pain to go?

She is very strange - she lives in her own little dream world!! No idea how long the pain will last - consultant said anything up to a month Confused

McBear · 06/10/2014 15:34

Oh no! Sounds truly terrible. Is there anything they can do to help? Thanks

OP posts:
Stewedcoot · 06/10/2014 17:11

Thanks PurpleCircle will do it tonight!

thekitchenfairy · 06/10/2014 22:41

I'm a fan of seeds but I think I will give the urine enema a miss Shock

I've come out in the most hideous head cold, can't find any studied in the house or olbas oil. Had feels close to exploding - but on the plus side I have eaten very little today!

McBear · 07/10/2014 05:44

What did you eat kitchen? Liked the head ache be caused by that?

I did have a 5 rich tea biscuit binge Hmm but I did have a very half arsed gym session. I had to use DPs headphones and they are rubbish.

Done 100 sit ups this morning and just eating my pb toast and banana.

Tuesdays I work til late so tea will be late. I don't like that so may skip it or find a way to grab something very quick.

Had a good day yesterday and did 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer. Feeling a bit headachy today which I think is probably sugar withdrawal. Still doing ok.

GoldfishSpy · 07/10/2014 05:54

Wow, early start McBear!

Please can I join?

I am using My Fitness Pal, keeping calories below 1500 and have lost 11lbs in 10 days.

Today I am planning to walk home from the school dropoff with the pushchair- 2 miles. I will do couch to 5K but had a csection so need a gentle start!

Have 5 st to lose and am breastfeeding an 8 week old (which helps!)

McBear · 07/10/2014 05:55

Headaches seem to be the theme!

I didn't drink my two litres of water yesterday. Hopefully I'll get chance. You guys should too!

McBear · 07/10/2014 06:01

Welcome and congratulations!!!! Thanks

Was the section 8 weeks ago too? Guessing yes. Make sure you take it easy and stop if any pain! I'd have thought it'd be fine by now tho. I walked 4 miles after 4 weeks and got told off but was gone.

That weight loss is amazing! What are you eating to keep good milk for baby?

RiversideMum · 07/10/2014 06:33

McBear! Can I join you too? Need to lose 2 stone at least, probably 4! I've tried every diet going and a couple of years ago ran regularly. Needs to be good and exercise combo for me or nothing shifts!

GoldfishSpy · 07/10/2014 07:29

porridge or weetabix for breakfast with fruit
soups for lunch, or beans on toast
chicken or fish with lots of veg
lots of water (and tea)
the occasional flapjack

:)

Asteria · 07/10/2014 08:09

DH brought me breakfast in bed. I had a cinnamon bagel which was not entirely diet - but then I wasn't going to complain given the sweet gesture! Maybe he is a feeder Hmm

GoldfishSpy · 07/10/2014 11:05

OK, breakfast of porridge with fresh blueberries (I gave myself too large a portion but realised and gave half to my DS).

Lunch is quorn bolognese and supper will be beans on toast or scrambled eggs on toast.

I lost another lb this morning Grin

Hope you all have a great day :)

McBear · 07/10/2014 11:05

I'm so fucking miserable when I'm hungry. There's a guy at my work who's a huge dick and keeps not talking to me, refusing to do the work I need him to do. I've just spoke to my boss about it. He's told this guys boss that he has no time for it and he's going to bang both out heads together. I've done nothing. This guy is blocked from contacting me any way at all and from Friday to Monday has decided he doesn't want to talk to me again. I've done nothing to pre empt this. It's making me look bad at work. Angry Rage face!

OP posts:
GoldfishSpy · 07/10/2014 11:07

x-post McBear.

That sounds shit. Can you have a cup of tea or coffee? I find a hot drink soothing when I have the rage.

And breathe.

McBear · 07/10/2014 12:43

I try and stay away from beans nowadays. They have a lot of carbs. DP always has egg on toast and if he eats it, it must be good. Congratulations on you pound WineWineWine

I think it's been dealt with but he's still a prick.

Just on my dinner and I think I'm watching an argument in polish. Quite fun. I'm full of hot Ribena. Soon to be full of chicken n veg. Just wish I had bread to dip.

OP posts:
thekitchenfairy · 07/10/2014 17:52

Definitely the cold from hell, hot shivery and have probably infected the office. Stupid policy of no working from home and if I don't go in I don't get paid and can't afford not too...

Anyway, rant over, yes today was good, I think.

Toast and egg for brekkie. A handful of seeds and tsp almond butter (not HM) for snack. No biscuit tin. Lunch of leftover curry and yoghurt. 1 lemsip for tea.

Today not so good. Avocado and seedy toat for brekkie, soup for lunch ... Pack of frazzles at 3pm. Oh dea. But still no biscuit tin Grin

Hope you're all having good days... Anyone running or doing the shred with this?

McBear · 07/10/2014 18:23

Frazzles are only 100 calories or so Grin NOT the end of the world. I'm kind of running. Every so often. Are you?

Sounds a bad day so you deserved the frazzles

OP posts:
amigababy · 07/10/2014 18:36

can I join too? Serial dieter with 20 pounds to lose. I am Amigababy and I am a carb addict Sad

After another carb "snack" when coming in from work I now don't feel like eating a sensible dinner, because I'm over full. I guess this is emotional eating.

Got to dash out now, will rejoin the thread and catch up later.

Asteria · 07/10/2014 18:45

Had a bad day. Menopausal mood swings coupled with DH fuckwhittery, plus my throwing my favourite glass bowl at a flagstone floor mid enormous raging row - which had words like divorce bandied about in it...
Ate half a packet of ginger cookies dipped in sugary coffee and then scoffed the home made almond butter straight from the jar (all of it...). I did have some grapes and an apple plus supper will be a jacket potato with salad - but the almond butter was in a Kilner jar. And I are all of it. Blush
