Yes but my goal was to lose half a stone before the wedding!! Woops!!

Well done on your will power that's def Wonder Woman proportions!! Lol

Well good luck for today I will check back in tonight and hopefully have some good news!

Ps I know it's crap being poorly but think of the weightloss!! Grin

Reastie · 15/10/2014 08:52

toe there would be weight loss....if I had lost my appetite....but I haven't!

Well, half a stone may be a little optimistic at this point I think Wink

KatoPotato · 15/10/2014 10:00

Hope you're feeling okay Reastie. Toe, I found a quick blast of low carb always helped emergency event weight loss!

I'm doing okay, 9 weeks now and frightened to weigh! I'm not allowed to go to spin or Kettlercise and I've been feeling too grotty to go to the gym for a gentle workout. Add to that lots of bad food choices... Yikes

ToeFluff · 15/10/2014 14:42

Oh Kato! Don't even think about weight just sit back put ure feet up and enjoy it! Smile This time is precious!

Low carb you say?! I'm already thinking salads and soups for the rest of the month so will lay off the bread to dip in it!!!

How are you feeling now Reastie?

I'm on track so far today. Wahoo! Just got to restrain myself after picking up ds!

ToeFluff · 16/10/2014 07:42

Well, I ended up with a good day yesterday, even went to the gym!

Now I've put a line underneath and starting today as it's the first, I find it easier to snack if I know I've behaved lately, but then it undoes it all so strictly does it!

Reastie · 16/10/2014 07:46

Toe I've never gone with the '3 meals a day and NO SNACKS' policy as my body would rather less and more often, so don't feel bad about snacks. I remember when I went to a useless NHS fat fighters thing the lady that ran it was slim and condescending obsessed with 3 meals a day and would look at me pityingly when I said this to her. Well, I proved her wrong in managing to lose my weight not following her ideas. When I was at uni I used to take in rice salads etc for lunch and I'd have half at morning break and the other half at lunch and it always worked better for me doing that than getting too hungry with no snacks as I'd then end out eating more as I was so hungry.

Kato worry not about food and weight ATM, just make as healthy choices as you can stomach and concentrate on growing that baby!

Very quiet again on here.

I've just seen an offer on a new version of a DVD box set I previously did and really enjoyed (got me fit enough to attempt insanity from pretty much fitness level zero). It's this DVD set and the offer's on their fb page. You buy it from amazon, write a review on amazon and them message them on fb linking the review and they send you another DVD set wherever you like for free for a friend in thanks for the review. I did it before with the previous series and sent the DVD set to a friend. Debating whether to buy the set to enhance the existing sets I have, but not sure I really need it but might go halves if any of you wanted to try it, or if you wanted to do it amongst yourselves.

KatoPotato · 23/10/2014 16:05

Hmmmm very interesting! I'd be keen Reastie. But it'd have to tuck it away til next year but would feel a bit better having a plan in place?

ToeFluff · 05/11/2014 21:08

Anyone still around? Grin

InMySpareTime · 06/11/2014 07:35

I was just wondering that myself, so searched through topics to find it. Great minds eh?

Reastie · 06/11/2014 12:38

I'm here, I'm here! Just work is hectic and struggling to keep up to date with the bargain thread. Things suppose so here. Not really fallen off of the wagon, but equally could do better, could do much better.

ToeFluff · 06/11/2014 15:45

GrinGrin

I've managed to stay on track since Sunday. I'm following slimming world as my calorie counting got a bit obsessive and I wouldn't eat just to keep the figures low..not clever and I'd just end up binging. At least I can eat all day on slimming world.

I had that wedding last weekend and I think that's my source of motivation as I felt so awful I cried before leaving the house. I don't want to feel like that again! Hmm

ToeFluff · 08/11/2014 09:05

Reastie that's what my teacher used to put on my school reports!

I'm still going my end, dreading a few weeks time when all the Xmas drinks start being arranged. I feel like it undoes all the hard work.

Reastie · 08/11/2014 18:09

toe well I am an actual real life teacher Grin . How's the slimming world going? Sad for crying before leaving the house for the wedding. I know exactly how you feel with that. Onwards to the next target and next motivation, it's about 7 weeks until Christmas, you could lose 1/2 a stone by then?

Weigh in this morning after a couple of weeks or so. 2 lbs on Sad . I'm not surprised but equally I think I hoped I would have maintained. I have rarely actually put anything on so was a bit of a Shock . I'm finding even maintaing difficult, although I'm putting it down to having a cold so being off exercise for a week or so and then with 2 weeks half term and DD at home exercise hadn't really been resumed to normal. Made up for with with a workout this afternoon.

ToeFluff · 08/11/2014 20:45

Well they say starve a fever and feed a cold don't they! Grin Don't worry too much about 2lb, as you said schools are back so routines are back, it will be off in no time.

I struggled a bit today but still going, even managed the gym on thurs and planning to go again tomo hopefully if dp doesn't mind, he's got to have Ds for me! Grin

ToeFluff · 13/11/2014 07:02

How's the cold?

I've sort of slipped the last few days, I've been so unorganised so dinners havn't been to plan. I've done a meal plan and made sure I've got what I need in so no more whoopsies.

Hi Toe and eighty . Well, to risk sounding like a broken record, I'm suffering with my IBS the past week so haven't been able to do any exercise as my tummy is in too much pain :( So a bit miserable here. The amount I've been, ahem, having to go to the loo the past week, I would have thought I might have lost some weight, but alas no.

Eighty you're back on it though, that's the main thing.

I think, it's dawned on me now that even when I get to target I will still always have to watch myself and work to stay where I am, I've put on 1st 5lb since the lowest I got to before, and for the last few months
I've just been loosing and gaining same 3 or 4lb.

I comfort eat and I'm not sure how to stop ..but it's not helping!!

Reastie · 13/11/2014 17:31

Toe it's so true. I'd still ideally like to lose a bit more, but if I stay as I am I'm happy with that, but even though I'm not really losing, it's still a daily battle for me, and I guess will be forever more :(

eighty there are many many stresses going on here ATM that I won't bore you with go in to. Hope it goes away soon though because I miss my exercise.

ToeFluff · 14/11/2014 08:48

I'm glad this thread is going again!

Reastie I hope things calm down for you soon, we're here should you need to vent!

I'm going back to basics and taking it one day at a time, I totally fell off yesterday and binged big style. Today that will not happen again!

Ok, not good, I'm babysitting my foster sister and planned out dinner, then left it at home so I had burnt and greasy sausages and chips! Whoops!

Reastie · 14/11/2014 20:48

Toe you've come to the thread and not ignored us and put your head in the sand though, that's a good thing and onwards and upwards for the rest of the day and tomorrow.

Had bad diarrhoea all morning here with IBS and just weighed myself and an evening weight (which is usually more than my morning weight) of 2 lbs less than my last morning weigh in Shock. Don't think that's a recommended way of weight loss and I'm sure I'll go back to my 'normal' weight once it stops and I can eat normally again. I can assure you I'd not rather spent most of the day on the loo Blush
