I did the low high wire course, But chickened out of the climbing wall and the high high wireBlush. Did lots of walking and most of the rides. Lots of steps up to things, and we brought picnic salad lunch to avoid the "chips and" choices that are typical theme park fare.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 29/08/2014 18:58

Thank god its Friday! I've had a manic few weeks but on a good note I've been too busy to snack. Meals themselves haven't been all great but I'm trying. I actually find when the weather is miserable I eat better as I'm more inclined to cook a proper meal.

How's everyone else doing? Sounds like you've all been busy

TheOneWithTheHair · 31/08/2014 23:02

Nearly Monday and I'm ready! New school year (on Wednesday), new motivation.

Juices are delicious but not an aid to weightloss as such. I intend to weigh in the morning after my summer of excess. I'll go from there.

ToeFluff · 02/09/2014 07:42

Right, I'm trying yet another method...3 meals no snacking. Managed it yesterday(even though it was a birthday at work and all sorts of cakes were there)

Had melon and grapes for breakfast, slim a soup and a slice of bread for lunch and sausage veg and new potatoes for dinner with onion gravy.

Drank lots of water and was well under calories according to mfp.

On Sunday as I caught my reflection in a window and even my fail safe hide all the flab top was stretched and not hiding anything. I need a miracle!!!

TheOneWithTheHair · 02/09/2014 08:23

You don't need a miracle Toe. You can do this! You didn't suffer yesterday so you can do it again today.

I feel shocking. Bad stomach bug yesterday. I think I'm going to weigh on Wednesday morning when the dcs are back at school and I have access to the Wii. I'll report back.

Evening ladies toe I'm doing the same as you with meals and no snacks and I'm finding it relatively easy. I'm having scrambled egg for breakfast, soup/sandwich for lunch although I did have a full on fat baked potato for lunch today coz I was really hungry, then something from the hairy dieters book for tea so low cals. I'm only on day 2 but both days I've been under calories and I'm logging everything on MFP.
I need to pick up the pace with exercise I'm doing my squats and I can see a difference in how low I can get so gonna keep up with that but I think I need to go back the gym. My work pants are too tight and moaning isn't gonna make them fit!
80 what you're saying does make sense (although I wasn't here when you were all on a mega roll) hopefully now holidays are over we will all have the time and energy to focus. My motivation is I don't have 1 holiday photo I like so by next summer I want to feel good plus it's not long til Xmas Grin

ToeFluff · 02/09/2014 20:06

Just logged the days food and under calories once again! GrinGrin Wreey I've cracked the wall I was up against, soon I'mma be tearing it down!!!

Yes I did think similar. From now on no more miss nice thread! We all got slack over the holidays but that chapter is closed. It's not allowed anymore so think wise choices and we shall see it all start falling off again.. Now where's that spreadsheet?!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 02/09/2014 22:01

Oh no toe are you going to be logging who eats what, how much we exercise and what we weigh?!

TheOneWithTheHair · 02/09/2014 22:49

Ooh, I'd forgotten about the spreadsheet. It probably needs serious updating because we've had a few deserters.

Is anyone techy enough to do a new one? I know I'm not.

Wanna, the spreadsheet just had our names, columns for each week and our weights. It's actually a really good way of keeping track and motivation. No embarrassment about weight and no judgements.

TheOneWithTheHair · 03/09/2014 09:33

Dcs back to school today. I've weighed and it seems the exercise over the summer helped to stave off major disaster.

New start weight of 11st 3lbs. I have just under 2 stone to lose.

I'm hoping a bit of routine will help.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 03/09/2014 11:53

I've just weighed myself and I'm 10'6 so realistically I need to lose a stone. So far I'm doing well with no snacks even tho DH kept offering me cake and chocolate last night.
I don't have any school kids but DH is a teacher so I understand what you mean about the routine. I plan meals better when we are both In work so less likely to end up eating a last minute unhealthy quick fix.

I can do spreadsheets if you want?

ToeFluff · 03/09/2014 19:51

Oh goodness I'm not that thorough wanna!!

Well I'm on day 3 of behaving and really pleased with myself. Only thing that will mess up my plans is I'm off out Friday (I'm never out so it will be messy) Hopefully I can dance lots of calories off but it's a bit crap and I'm worried it's going to mess my streak up!

Well done all you skinnies btw, I have far more to go than you! Grin

Reastie · 04/09/2014 07:43

Hello all,

I've been lurking as DD has been poorly sick but she's better now.

DD and I both back to school now (well, nursery for her) so we're back in a routine (or getting used to it).

Things not bad here. Some days I eat too much, but nothing is 'bad' it's just too much. I still can't weigh myself properly as the floor in our bathroom still isn't done.

Still got to get around to buying all the equipment for my P90x2. I've got to get medicine ball, swiss ball, and foam roller. Everything else I have or can get away without. I'm getting really bored with p90x so am looking forward to something new, and this one looks like it's alot more core work which will be good for me.

ToeFluff · 05/09/2014 17:17

I hope you aren't all disappearing for the weekend!Grin

How is everyone getting on?

Reastie · 05/09/2014 18:32

I'm here and I won't disappear! I just went on MFP and logged for today (haven't in a while) and did a chart of my sugar intake in the last 90 days and I've managed to over half my sugar intake, but I'm still on around 50g a day which is within the recommended amount for women, which I'm really surprised by as I thought I would be alot better than that. It seems to be mainly down to the raisins in my oat muesli and the one naked bar a day I have.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 05/09/2014 20:09

I'm here too. I've been doing really well this week then went over to a friends for lunch and she made me fish and chips. I was too polite to refuse but as I was eating all I could think was this is undoing my hard work.

Reastie you've done amazing with your sugar and I think the way you are doing it is the sensible way. You still need some form of treat and it's better that it comes from raisins than chocolate.

Are you still behaving toe?

ToeFluff · 06/09/2014 16:58

I've can safely say I'm doing well, I drank far too much alcohol last night so was def over calories, plus a dirty chicken burger on the wobbly walk home. But I don't have that desire to chuck the towel in and start Monday so even though I'm a heffa I'm feeling good! Grin

KatoPotato · 08/09/2014 13:25

Just checking in guys! Hope you're all doing well!

Just wanted to say its VERY EARLY days.... but I got my BFP! Due May 2015 all being well!

Going to have to switch to maintenance calories and sadly quit kettlercise (not allowed) but going to have a chat with the gym staff about what I can do and whether it's worth keeping up my membership for now!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 08/09/2014 14:02

kato that's amazing news! Congratulations!!! I'm sure there will be something you can do at the gym and as long as you don't go crazy eating for 2 there's no reason why you should put weight on that you won't lose after. If that makes sense.

I'm still on trackish. I didn't snack but didn't eat as healthy as I should over the weekend. I shall weigh tomorrow and see if being good last week made a difference.

Reastie · 08/09/2014 14:35

Kato fabulous fabulous news. Don't lose us just because your pg though. You may not be losing weight but we want to hear how you're going etc.

P90x2 is great. I love the 2 workouts I've done. I can recommend a foam roller. It's the best thing ever. Not really an exercise or toning up, but like giving your muscles a massage.

ToeFluff · 10/09/2014 09:22

Congratulations Kato! Lovely news!

How is everyone getting on? I sort of lost it a bit but back on track now. Ds is on his second day of school so routine is getting set. Lost 1lb from last week!!!

ToeFluff · 11/09/2014 09:26

cough

Where are you all?!
