just checking in guys! I'm okay except from the 5pm nausea Sad and feeling like I've been hit by a bus.

Not making good food choices but hey!

Reastie · 29/09/2014 07:04

kato I remember the nausea well, lots of sympathy heading your way. Plenty of time for good food choices when you feel better.

Hair how's the juicing going?

toe have you joined that gym online yet? hmm? . How weird having it cheaper online than at the gym, most annoying. FWIW not sure if it's local to your work but when I joined my gym I asked my work finance dept to contact the gym and see if they could do a corporate rate for employees of a local business. I ended out saving over £15 a month just from them doing a phone call [proud]

ToeFluff · 29/09/2014 16:47

Yes I joined online last night and have induction on Wednesday eve, still trying to find a gym top thats long enough to cover my bum!

Poor u Kato, I don't envy you at all!

Saved u 15 a month?! How much was it in the first place?! My gym isn't near my work but that's such a good idea, I bet no one ever thinks of that!

So my bad news now - I put on a lb Hmm might check again tomorrow but I'm well miffed!

Reastie · 29/09/2014 18:07

toe hopefully the gym work will get that lb off quickly. It might be a random weigh in increase, I get that sometimes.

The gym I was at I think was something like £80 a month just for me (I know, Shock ). I went there as it was the only gym I went near on my way home from work. Was really nice though and I miss it (full of desperate housewives yummy mummys). DD is going to a birthday party there at the week end (they have a creche/restaurant etc etc) so I'll probably start wishfully thinking about going again.

ToeFluff · 29/09/2014 23:14

Pfft, mine is 15.99 a month!! I bet I get in there and it's 1 bike and a skipping rope!! Grin

Reastie · 30/09/2014 06:38

toe wow, even the local leisure centre here is something like £40 a month and a local bootcamp charge something like £30 a month just for one bootcamp class a week. Do you get classes included with that? Clearly I live in the wrong part of the country! I'm now imagining a queue of people waiting at your gym to use the one bike and rope Grin

ToeFluff · 30/09/2014 09:17

Yeah it does seem a bit too good to be true doesn't it, it's open 24/7 and the classes are included. And there's no contract either so another bonus.. Eeek what's the catch going to be?!

Reastie · 30/09/2014 19:44

Toe is this your gym Grin (sorry, not meant in a rude or demeaning way, it just made me chuckle. I see you as the woman on the treadmill)

Reastie · 30/09/2014 19:44

You wouldn't want to get too close to the man in the picture at the top would you Wink

KatoPotato · 30/09/2014 19:54

Absolutely PMSL at that link!!! X I might need banned from this chat, I've got a birthday Chinese on its way...

ToeFluff · 30/09/2014 21:50

???? God I hope not!! I shall report back tomorrow after my induction! Though I had a thought today that's it hasn't got a swimming pool so maybe that's why it's cheaper..I'm a bit worried now!!

Was under calories today again so least I think I've got that bit sorted now and I'm declaring a October challenge, no weights mentioned just keep a countdown of losses in October and the winner gets to feel all skinny and proud.. Who's game?

And who's birthday Kato? Bet that Chinese will help with the sickness!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 30/09/2014 22:36

Love that gym link Reastie. I am totally jealous of how cheap your gym is tho toe I think mine is about £30 and that's at a reduced rate because I was on a GP referral. I've got to confess I still haven't re joined. Its my mission to join it this week although I've had a bizarrely successful week this week and lost 2lb! I think my scales are broke as we did the Macmillan coffee morning and I didn't say no to the cake.

Hope the Chinese helps with the sickness Kato

Reastie · 01/10/2014 16:09

Come on toe I can't wait to hear how the gym was!

wanna well done on the 2 lbs

Minor celeb sportsperson came to my work competition today that I organised, would you fancy a photo to see who it was? Might see if I can put a piccie up on the ss???? I'm never going to look slim next to them though

ToeFluff · 01/10/2014 17:04

Ooo who was it?!

And I'm just about to leave now, induction at 5.30!!

ToeFluff · 01/10/2014 19:32

Hello, so I've been to the 15.99 gym....it was amazing!! It is massive and has 3 floors with tons of machines so don't think I'll ever not have anything to go on, I still havnt found out what the catch is!

Reastie · 01/10/2014 19:43

Have just added pic to ss. Can you guess who it is yet? You have to scroll down my other before/after pictures though Blush I may have too many . Gym sounds amazing.

Reastie · 01/10/2014 19:46

Oh, toe I may have thought of a possible catch - is it air conditioned? There's a gym near me that's much cheaper and it's not air conditioned, so maybe that's it? you might need to invest in one of these on the exercise bike Grin

ToeFluff · 01/10/2014 20:27

GrinGrinGrin I only went on the cross trainer after she finally stopped talking and it had a fan in the actual machine so maybe your right?! Still least sweating is a good thing in a gym, can sweat the lbs off instead of working hard!! Grin

Can we have a link to the ss I've lost it

Stealthpolarbear · 01/10/2014 20:30

Just checking in, hope you're all well

Congratulations :o :o :o kato! Brilliant news

stealth hello stranger, how's tricks?

ss

ToeFluff · 14/10/2014 23:57

Urgghh what is WRONG with me???!

I just don't have any will power or self control. But I want to so badly :(

Reastie · 15/10/2014 06:42

Uh oh, what's happened Toe ?

Tis very quiet in these parts. I'm hoping it's down to everyone working hard but somehow I'm thinking we're all struggling but not wanting to mention it or is that just me

Things here not great, and I'm ill again .

ToeFluff · 15/10/2014 07:33

I think that's where we keep going wrong, should stay on here when we're finding it tough instead of going off radar.

I'm just going to draw a line and start taking it a day at a time, I keep saying all the right things but buckling as soon as someone offers me a chocolate, then pigging out for the rest of the day. And there's been sweets and cakes at work nearly every day!

Hope you're starting to feel better?!

I'm going to bite the bullet and weigh myself before work.

ToeFluff · 15/10/2014 07:57

Ok, so I've weighed. Gained 2lb...could have been worse I guess but have a wedding end of the month and dreading feeling fat and frumpy.

Urgghh I need to kick this down feeling!

Reastie · 15/10/2014 08:29

Toe 2 lbs you can get off by the wedding, maybe even more. When confronted by chocolate etc I can sort of find strength in feeling smug that I resisted and I am strong and WILL reach my goals whereas everyone around me just caves to eat some, I am super human and am in control (hope I don't sound like a nutter). I often really really want something and the initial declining is really hard, but once I've said no and the moment has passed, I feel so much better and stronger to have got through it. Make sure you have alternative snacks like almonds or something in your bag so you don't go without completely. Works for me anyway.

Sugar free still here, although last week ran out of soup for dinner so went to raid my tin tomato soup stash in case of emergency. Anyway, I realised it was full of added sugar so I refused to eat it..... and made myself egg and chips instea Blush (in my defence it was oven chips and dry fried egg with no oil). No ketchup either. So, looking on the bright side, I'm still sugar free Wink [dedicated]

No energy here as have a weird coldy thing which is really getting me down and preventing me from workouts. Am a weakling and home from work today after mammoth diarrhoea this morning likely down to strange bug [tmi].
